This Susan posting for Nancy. Noah installed our new dishwasher from Lowe's Home Improvement yesterday, July 24, 2019. Our allotted time to expect installation was 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Noah called approximately 30 to 40 minutes prior to arrival and was at our home by about 8:10 AM. Noah is pleasant and personable. Upon removing the old dishwasher, Noah informed us that the wiring was not up to code, which was due to our house being an older home. His advice was to install a "kill switch" to bring it up to code and that he was authorized, able and willing to do this. The price was reasonable so we agreed to have this done. The installation was uneventful and the work was professionally done. We were very pleased to have had Noah do this work for us. Noah is very friendly, knowledgeable and cared that we be more than satisfied with the new dishwasher.

Cody and Frank were prompt courteous and did a great job and customer service rep di a great job communicating and scheduling around our needs.

Marcus was an EXCELLENT service tech. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was methodical, patient, and went above an beyond answering my questions during the dishwasher install. He was quite accommodating for my 3yr old that was VERY interested in what was going on. If Marcus is your service tech, you're in great hands.

After I called, they were there the very next day on time. They explained everything and worked hard to keep the bill low. They started work right away and cleaned everything up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

The gentleman that installed my toilet were prompt, polite and kind. I will request them for my installers from home depot from now on. They took time to answer questions about plumbing issues. If you had 6 stars I would have given Cody and Joey 6 stars. They saved the day. They came immediately when I had an emergency, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right away. These guys are awesome!!!

John Mayo cane out from Progressive Heating and Air. He was AWESOME! Knowledgeable, explained everything and found our GAS leak in a short amount of time. Not only would we highly recommend Progressive if you ever need a plumber especially in an emergency he s the guy!!

Price was fair for a Friday night plumbing emergency. Marcus C. was most pleasant and professional. Gave me a good plumbing tip too. Will definitely consider for normal/non-emergency work as well.

Emily was able to schedule me the very day I called. She assessed wether one or two electricians would be needed due to the fixture being mounted. She was very easy to work with on the phone. Michael did an excellent job with hanging an oversized ceiling mount fixture covered in chains of crystals. The fixture was a much bigger job than I expected, including partial assembly. Michael didn't hesitate and was able to complete the entire job quickly. He knew his stuff, tackled the job in a timely manner, cleaned up after he finished and charged a reasonable fee.

I recommend Progressive for both their Plumbing and Mechanical services. I've only had good experiences with their customer service reps and their technicians. At every instance they've been polite, respectful, and easy to work with. They understand homeowner budget worries and seem eager to provide quality service at a reasonable cost. I further recommend their annual service contracts which include a seasonal checkup and discount on additional work. I first called them in 2013 when my bathtub got backed up - though it was technically an "emergency" same-day call, they only charged the normal diagnostic fee, and had someone out at my house within a couple hours. They beat their competitor's price by almost half the cost; then at the end the tech "reminded" me to use a mailer discount. Since then, they've helped me remodel a bathroom, helped/taught me how to fix my water heater (saving me a ton of $$$), replaced my furnace, and yesterday they called to remind me that my annual service contract was about to expire and that I should schedule checkups. This morning Trevor W. came out, did a full inspection of the entire mechanical system and ducting, and cleaned the A/C coils; this afternoon, they'll be coming out to check my plumbing. Next time something comes up - I'll be calling Progressive. Thanks!

I experienced a plumbing emergency on a Saturday afternoon. Ashley was down right amazing so compassionate and supportive to my circumstances. The plumber was so very nice, professional and responsive to my emergency. These guys are the real deal.........Amazing People/Team!

I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance for the installation of a new water heater from Home Depot. I received a call that they were on their way to install the unit, but the scheduled time was incorrect. I received another call about 3 hours after the scheduled time that they were going to have to reschedule the install. I took time off work to be available and they arrive late. I told them if the unit was not going to be installed on the scheduled date to return it back to Home Depot. When they arrived the installer asked to get paid before they started the installation. I was told by the company to pay when the installation was completed. When I paid by check and credit card he asked me why wasn't I going to pay the entire bill with my credit card? Because it's my money and I pay however I want to pay for the service. I don't think I will use this company to install any other products.

Install gas stove and they have cancelled and rescheduled 3 times pushing it out for weeks. Was required to use this company thru LOWES home improvement. NEVER AGAIN

To say the least, the service and information I received from this team was incredible. I am more than pleased and hoping to use their services again!

We hired them to do maintenance on our heating/AC. What I loved was that they gave us a 1 hour window in which they were to show up - not a 4 hour block like most service companies - and then they showed up and got the job done professionally and efficiently. Our service rep, Trevor Wharton, was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Great experience!!

Noah was a fantastic technician! Very polite and pleasant to have a conversation with. Cleaned up his mess and was super apologetic when we had a mix up with the appliance being wrong even though it wasn t his fault or the company s fault! Called at least 15 minutes before arrival which is always a great heads up!

The team was amazing! I can t remember the plumbers name but, shouldn t be hard to figure out because he was 6 9 . Despite him being a large man he was very nice and professional. Walked me through everything and did a amazing job. Caleb Hempphill brought a team and really made me feel relieved after they got all the water cleaned up from our ceiling. The whole team was great but, those two will have me recommending progressive service to all my neighbors and friends! Thanks again guys!

I called several companies in the area and I chose to let Progressive Services to do my work! They not only replaced my Water Heater that had been leaking for a while (in just a few hours) but sent their Water Restoration team out to access the water damage (which they worked with my insurance company). All of these guys were very knowledgeable and very courteous! I highly recommend this company! Thanks again Progressive!

Jimmie was very helpful and he explained every aspect of the job. I really appreciate everything that was done in my time of distress.

I was surprised at the cost to cut through my sheetrock to determine where a leak was. The real fix would cost much, much more. I couldn't afford to pay almost $1,000 to fix a burst pipe in my wall and then have to turn around and pay spmeone else for sheetrock repair and painting.

Michael was prompt, polite and thorough. He got our dishwasher installed quickly and was in-and-out in a timely manner. The scheduling team was super friendly and accommodating.

I called in and thought I was getting a free estimate on a water heater and it turned out that I had to pay a service fee just for an estimate of $95 plus tax so I was very disappointed

Progressive Service Company was thorough, accurate, punctual and exceedingly congenial from the phone interactions through the dishwasher installation, clean-up and haul away of old appliance. They didn't even throw trash in the trashcan; they hauled out every scrap of packing material, etc. that they arrived with. They checked and made sure everything was in tip top shape and made me feel very comfortable.

Excellent Service Fast & Complete. Tevin E was great. Left the machine working perfect and the place was left clean.

I do not know about the company. I am here to review Marcus. He arrived at the house on time to install an over range microwave my wife and I purchased from home depot. He was courteous, friendly and professional. His work was clean, and steady. He knew exactly what he was doing, then he made sure everything was working as it should. Well done Marcus.

Hot water heater went out on a Friday, of course and from the first contact with Brittany at the office until Justin completed the job at midnight Friday night, everything was completed with the best customer service I've seen. Justin made sure that we did not have to go the weekend without hot water and the quality of his work is excellent. Any company can replace a water heater but because of this experience, Progressive will always be my first call!

All good. Prompt call to schedule microwave install. Tech called ahead and arrived on time. Installation was fast and done properly.

Gabriel called about 20 minutes before coming to our home. He checked filters, washed down outside unit, and checked upstairs unit. He wore a mask and booties inside the home. Job well done.

We were selling our townhouse in Florida and had our floors remodeled. Corey was our assigned plumber to remove and then reinstall the toilet and was very pleasant to speak to on the phone. Since we were not in town for the beginning of the remodel, he situated his return appointment with the flooring gentlemen and seemed happy to do so. After reinstalling the toilet, he could have called and said it was in and then left. Instead, he called to notify me there was a running concern with the toilet and that he'd be happy to return in a couple days with the proper supplies to fix it. He arrived a few days later as promised, gave a phone call confirming how far he was, and arrived on time (I was back in town by this point.) Once finished, he checked our master bath for any potentional concerns/leaks, to which there weren't any, and even checked our outlets that they were in proper working condition. He was clean, thorough, and left everything nice and neat. He offered to take a look at anything else related to Progressive's services (again, we were selling our property) but had already taken care of those concerns. Corey is a wonderful member of your team and really enhances our chances of using and/or referring your company to others.

I've used Progressive for years and I was especially pleased with the service I had from Travis, who replaced a motor and drain trap. Lisa handled scheduling for me and found a way to save me some money on my visit that was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Progressive for all their services!

We had water damage to our kitchen and we couldn't find the source of the leak. So we started calling plumbers and Progressive was able to come the next day, and did a great job at a rate that didn't kill us as we waited for the insurance to get themselves together. We highly recommend Progressive

The technician was kind, professional, and courteous and completed the job in a timely manner. It was explained that the issues was mostly caused by the builder who nicked a pipe in the fist floor ceiling of my 2 story home. It looked as though they had tried to fill it with something but over time that wore away and caused the leak. This is what was told to me by the technician. The issue I have with their service is they were not willing to include this on the invoice so that the repairs would be covered by my insurance company. They gave me the most likely cause, suggested I file the claim, and even told me to save the pipe as proof of the issue but when it came down to standing by what they told me, they back peddled. I was only looking for them to include that was the most likely cause of the issue. I mean what else could it have been, there is a tiny hole in the pipe that look like it was filled with something and it is not easily accessed (hence the hole in my ceiling). You may want to consider this when choosing them for your next emergency.

Gave us super great service! we can't say enough about the Tech Clint Frasier. He was prompt and the quality of work he did in installing our new Moen Kitchen faucet assembly was exceptional!

Water heater stopped working on a Thursday night. called around, kept hearing it would be either Monday, Tuesday, or during the weekend (with $100+ in off-hour surcharge). Tried Progressive in the morning and they had someone there within the hour! They had a $60 estimate fee (easily less than other places) which they waived when I agreed to have them repair the water heater. Gary came by and took a look at the water heater and diagnosed the problem. He was great with communicating the status of my water heater and clearly explaining what was needed to repair it. Everyone I spoke to with the company was kind, professional, and able to speak honestly to me about the work status. The work was done quickly and professionally, and the price was fair and reasonable. So the water heater broke on Thursday night and there was hot water before noon the next day. Not too bad. I will definitely be calling Progressive Service Company again if something pops up.

My issue was my water heater needing replacement. Flint and his helper came same day, about 3 hours after my phone call. Flint let me walk around with him, and he taught and showed me everything he was doing. It was a very informative learning experience, and I was so impressed with his desire to to teach me. He was a very professional man. I would gladly recommend Flint to anyone.

I could not use my shower. It was difficult to turn on the faucet. Mr. Joe H. diagnosed and fixed the problem. He took the time to explain what he was doing. He saw that there were problems with some prior plumbing on my hot water heater. I appreciated the information. I am motivated to get the rest of the plumbing work done with Progressive. I will recommend Progressive to my family and friends. Thank you.

Progressive service tech by the name of Trevor Wharton came out today to fix my air. He had it up and running ASAP and even beat the estimated time it would take to complete the job. He was professional and courteous. Great job Progressive!

Kevin called when he was on the way, was friendly and professional, completed the work in a timely manner and helped us deal with a small problem very competently. Would definitely use his services again.

We had a septic disaster last year and called Progressive (they were the only folks who would come out on a holiday weekend, which was great). They pumped our septic and then scheduled a follow up to have someone come out to give us a quote on fixing the system. We got the quote, felt it was reasonable given our own research, and took out a loan to cover the costs. Turns out, just the electrical portion used up 90% of the money we were told it would take to repair the entire system.

So now we are left with a busted system, in the same position as we were before we shelled out thousands of dollars trying to figure out how we are going to get the money to actually fix this.

I wish we had never encountered Progressive in the first place.

My experience with this company was excellent. The technician was very professional, clean and efficient. He did a dishwasher install and was a perfectionist. I own an in home service business, and very aware of what should be done in someones home. Progressive Service Company is first class. The nut around my kitchen sink wore out over time. Dripping from the slow leak caused my cabinet floor to collapse. This is my third time using Progressive. They are always timely and professional. Justin C. was great. He was very professional and recommended options I may want to seek with respect to getting my cabinet floor repaired.

Zac & Dylan did a great job installing our dishwasher. They were prompt, courteous, kept me informed about what was required, and put everything back in our cabinets/did a great job cleaning up. They had a couple of obstacles to overcome, but were always positive and wanted to make sure the job was done right.

The plumber was on time and did great work. He didn't clean up the area afterwards which was disappointing.

Uros was on time. His team took care not to soil our floors. They explained what they were doing. They got our new stove hooked up, leveled, cleaned up, & they old stove removed in an hour.

Clint S. did a terrific job yesterday when he came to rewire my pool pump motor.

He did a very professional job, he knows electrical wiring codes and generally what to do.

He answered all my questions, listened to me as to what I wanted to have done and how I needed the wiring done so that the motor can be removed for the winter and easily rewired in the spring.

I feel very comfortable now when I have to disconnect the motor wiring in the fall and reconnect it in the spring, all I have to do is connect each 2 wires of the same color in the connect/disconnect box.

I will definitely recommend Progressive Service Company to all my friends, especially if they need electrical work done.

Beware customers. This company has NO customer service at all. I was scheduled to have 4 toilets installed. The plumber was suppose to come between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday. He called around 10:00 am and asked, am I suppose to install 4 toilets today, I answered, yes. He wanted to come at 10:00 am. I had a doctors appointment at 11:00 am I
told him he would have to come at 1:00 as scheduled. This is a long story, but to make it short. Heather made the appointment, so I called her and she told me, No I'll call him and I will call you right back. Heather did call me back and said, i can make this appointment on Thursday. I couldn't make it I was having woman to my home. I called Lowes, they sub contracted this company. The woman in installed sales called Progressive while i was on the phone. We had a conference call with a woman named Christine and i have to say, she was the most disrespectful, rude and very crude individual i have ever been in contact with. Bottom line, i requested another installer. This company may be good but their customer service is worthless .
You don"t treat people like this. I only gave them one star because you can't give less.

The technician was very knowledgeable. After assessing the problem of an outdoor leaky faucet, he very clearly presented my repair options before beginning the repair work. He informed me that he could not give me the complete assessment without first removing some parts. After removing the parts, he was able to fix the problem immediately and at a very reasonable cost. I'm very pleased with the level of communication and service provided. I will be contacting progressive again when I'm in need of another repair.

Terrible experience trying to get a broken toilet replaced. Asked for a call prior to site visit to get plumber to bring a generic white toilet to replace the broken worn out unit in my office. Should have required one visit and drop the new toilet in place. Had pictures to send in case needed. He arrived unannounced and proceeded to run up a $300.00 unauthorized bill looking for non-existent replacement parts. Then quoted $1018.26 to install a very basic toilet. Never apologized and never tried to review their recorded conversations. Tried to work this out equitably. Anyone can make a mistake. I rarely write negative reviews and never without an effort to work things out.

I called Progressive and spoke with Stephanie with an issue that was vague. She was very professional but friendly and helpful.

She took the time and energy to understand what I was trying to convey.

After-which I spoke with the tech and he was also friendly. No services has been rendered yet but based on my experience I would call them again and I highly recommend their service.

Uros, the service technician did an excellent job. He was to install a new dishwasher. He arrived on time, fortunately took new one out of box and noticed damage. So glad he had not already removed old dishwasher. He boxed it and returned to Lowe's with it, picked up another one and got it installed today! On time and kept me informed... Super job, Uros!

When our AC stopped sending out cold air, we called Old Republic for help. Within one hour after reporting the problem, we received a call from Lisa at Progressive Service Company and she was able to schedule a technician that same afternoon.
Brian B. was the gentleman who came early in the afternoon, and not only did he fix the downstairs AC unit by replacing a bad capacitor, but he sprayed the surrounding area for wasps. He then agreed to check out an additional problem we had with our upstairs unit, and after verifying the price with his office, performed the necessary maintenance to prevent a later problem. We used Progressive for a pressure reducing valve and a water heater replacement in Asheville. Dylan and Jonathon were excellent. Having been an employer for 40 years, I can tell you that Progressive is very lucky to have these two men in their employ. They are smart and articulate. If I have future plumbing needs, I would definitely call Progressive.

I would recommend Progressive Service to anyone after my recent experience with them! I was trying to coordinate a re-install after a flooring company messed up the flooring and had to come back. I called asking if there was any way for them to get there that day, as I had an appraiser coming back to do a re-inspect the following day. Not only were they able to get it done, but they were extremely pleasant about it. I look forward to working with them again!
