Joe and Seb arrived within 5 minutes of the committed arrive time. They explained what they were doing and answered all of the questions I had. The post install instructions and review were very thorough. They cleaned everything up and left no residue when the finished. We had one issue, the proposed filter would not fit. Joe explained the issue and options and reached out to the office for guidance.

I paid thousands of dollars for a new system but they couldn't be bothered to bring a new filter with them. They had never told me that I would need a new filter so I had to leave two strangers in my home while I went to buy a filter.
Then when I got back I saw that they had placed a red canister right in front of my neighbor's door. I asked them to move it. They ignored me. They spoke little English (I think they spoke Russian but I'm not exactly sure). So a few minutes later I took a picture, showed it to them, and I had to ask again not so nicely for them to move it and they finally did.
The person who did the estimate was nice and friendly but he has been unresponsive to my concerns. He hasn't returned my texts or voice-mails. Also today I called the office and asked for the price of the filter off my bill they refused.
The system works and it seems to be running fine but the install was not a pleasant experience.
Note: They were doing work through the Home Depot. My home is in Burlington County NJ.
Really I should have $50 off my bill. That would be the $20 for the filter and the half hour of my time I had to waste on a workday at roughly my hourly rate. At this point I'll just take the 20 bucks.
Our representative at Pro Energy Solutions, Carmen, Is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We look forward to further working with him through the completion of our installation with high-efficiency natural gas. Fast Forward, the installment was completed a couple weeks ago and my wife and I are very happy with the professional , courteous and timely matter that the entire team had. I plan to use Pro Energy Solutions again in future and I definitely would recommend them to family and friends.
OK, the full story. Just over 11 years ago our central air system broke. The reason for that early demise of a well-built 30-year-old system was in part to poor installation (our townhouse was built by three (3) drunken monkeys and a flamingo on crack cocaine) - the original coolant lines were run through the concrete patio, without a sleeve, and there were dozens of "90-degree" bends in the lines.
Flash forward to the beginning of May when we figured out that we can actually swing getting the system replaced, so we did what every good homeowner does; we investigated, got quotes, and knew what we wanted and what our budget was.
Four (4) companies came out to visit our humble abode, the first one came highly recommended by a close friend, who I liked, but did not provide a quote until the evening I green-lit Pro Energy Solutions (more one them shortly). The other two (2) I felt uncomfortable with, to the point where I thought his whole pitch seemed sketchy.
We connected with Pro Energy Solutions through Home Depot. Now, I will clearly state that their price was higher than the highly recommended guy by a few hundred bucks (after you factor in everything), but Pro Energy Solutions was the ONLY installer to provide THREE (3) QUOTES! An economical, mid-range, and high-range system, the latter two (2) are backed their for TEN (10) YEARS compared to 5, and their labor for THREE (3) YEARS compared to 1-2 years (for the low-end/competitors quote). Additionally, they were able to get me on the schedule within 5 days, where the other contractor told me it could be a week or two.
In addition, Pro Energy Solutions has a 24 hour service line, but I hope I never have to use it.
Their installers came out early on a Monday, and although there were MINOR (very MINOR) issues with the accessories, everything went amazingly well; now I had them back out 2-days later for the aforementioned minor issues, and their guys found and corrected a few things they felt would be better to just address now, rather than have the chance of an issue in the future.
Now, that 2nd visit was yesterday (June 13. 2018), and I've not run the furnace yet, but they assured me they will address any potential issues should they arise without any fuss come winter; and I trust their word.
VERY HAPPY!! Not only was the work done prior to the heat-wave we're about to get hit with, but the level of customer care and attention to the details, makes me very happy that I paid a few extra bucks for quality!
I had a Carrier 12K BTU mini-split ductless ac/heat unit installed and my main electrical panel upgraded. The entire project was completed on time, professionally, and very neatly I might add. I sincerely recommend Pro Energy Solutions - from Carmen, Noelle, and other front office staff to the installation and electrical crews - all my questions were answered and the solutions they provided helped me decide to proceed with the project.
I got a quote for a new ac condenser and coil for $5500.00 on 5/6, called the sales rep Greg Roth today on 5/27...to let him know I will be moving forward with the project and wanted to leave a deposit to start it but he said they could not honor the quote because the original quote was given to me to "fill in a day" of work and now to do the work it would be $6339.30...$839.90 higher for no reason. Very deceptive practice. Very shady.
The guys that came to do the install were outstanding!! Polite, professional and a pleasure to have in my home. Would absolutely recommend this team to anyone looking for an HVAC system install. Job well done!
