These people are scammers beware. I would not recommend to any person who wants her home to be appraised. I lost a lot of money as I had to hire another company to appraise my home after this company appraised my home way below the value that had been assessed some years back.
It's difficult seeing some of these bad reviews regarding Pro Teck Valuation Services. We had a great experience with the appraisal process every step of the way. From the communication to finding very consistent comparables, we could not be happier with the services we've received. I'd recommend anyone looking to get their property appraised to work with them. They'll provide the information you need and the direction you deserve. Especially being first time home owners this has been a great experience - i'd encourage others to check them out and they'll do right.
What a bunch of hacks. "Appraiser" came to the house for a walk around appraisal, missed a garage, missed 2 AC units (proving we have central air condition), missed 3 exterior bathroom vents (for our THREE bathrooms, not two), among a whole host of other issues. Appraised house 15% below assessed value when the comps they provided all sold 115% or more of assessed value. Total hack company with incompetent employees. if they are hired to do your appraisal, ask for someone else!
This company's appraisal process and service has been the worst I've encountered, and it has now cost me the ability to refinance my property. The appraiser made factual inaccuracies and picked an inconsistent comparable set. Bottom line, I would suggest property owners to look into some competitors first for better value and service.
You'll be better off choosing another appraiser if you want to have a reliable valuation service for your property. We had them appraised our property but we were surprised how far was the value they gave from the market value when in fact, the property is in good condition. We looked fro another appraisers and they gave much higher appraised value than what Pro Teck provided.

They have a track record of appraising properties at about 15-20% less than the market price. Keep that in mind when you trust them for appraising any property.
My company has worked with Proteck for years. It's nice to be able to get a real person on the phone. They pay their vendors well, have great service and they always hire local people to complete their products. I highly recommend using them for all your valuation needs.
They are not reliable and definitely not recommended. They appraised my property way below it's appraised value few years back because of the issues they've found that are not relevant to the value. When I got another appraiser, they provided an acceptable and more accurate appraised value for my property.
If you're looking to appraise your property, don't ever hire this company. They have a reputation of valuing 15-20% less than what other appraisers would consider. Also, they charge higher than other appraisers.
Proteckkkkkkkkkkkk this is the best company ever , I have been working for them out of Miami , fl since 2011 . I have had only one vendor manager ( lisa mulkay) since I started. From day one she was the best ever . When i started I didn t even know how to complete a bpo. She walked me through the process and I have been rolling since. I probably have completed more bpo for ProTeck than any of the other companies I use to work for combined . They keep me busy and I decided not to work with any other companies because they are consistent with work. When it s slow I use those days as off days like any other job. If there is any problems or concerns about a order I get a response within the hour even after hours. That s unheard of. In 9 years I have never been shorted a dollar of my pay. This is the bonus we get paid on 12 and 28 of each month. One year Christmas was coming and we all know it s on the 25 of each year. ProTeck without me or a couple of guys I know asking checked our account and ProTeck decided to pay all the employees on the 23 that s was big in my book . No one does that. Lisa Mulkay and ProTeck keeps me on track and keeps me and my family happy. I m here for life u less y all get tired of me. Keep the work coming. Did I say lisa mulkay is the best to do it. Let me repeat lisa mulkay and ProTeck is the best company I have ever worked for abs I hope y all keep me forever.

20% below market. They rejected first appraisal and made adjuster lower 20%. All comps but one were from another town. Had three smaller houses sell last 6 months within .02 miles not one used. Forced to use this company through bank wonder why. Good luck
There's nothing to look forward to. The pay and benefits are decent, and it's always good to be able to work remotely. However, there really isn't anything going on for the workplace since management does not make any efforts to create a nice work atmosphere. Also, the threat of instantly losing your job without any warning puts unnecessary stress and anxiety on the employess. The lack of job security is what made me leave this company.
I've been able to work with Jeff and the Pro Teck team for a few years now and would highly recommend their services. They've been a great team!
I had applied for a loan at a bank and was offered 2 ways to appraise my house value. 1, was 125.00 and they come out and take a picture and then appraise it. The other one cost more and they come in the house and actually figure out the value. I had my house appraised about 8 years ago at 110,000 by the same bank, so I thought there shouldn't be a problem with this type of appraisal. Was I completely wrong. The appraisal came back as 41,000. So, my advise is to pay the extra money and get a good appraiser to do it, not some company that uses figures like square footage and the area to appraise your house. So now, to get the loan I have to pay for the second appraisal wasting 125.00 on this companies "figured" "statistics" appraisal. I wasted 125.00 and I'm not happy!!!!
Another AMC doesn't doesn't care what my fees are, they just send quotes and send the assignment to the cheapest appraiser. They could make an approved panel of good and competent appraisers and pay them what their asking price. Christina didn't even bother to respond to my email. Treated me like I was disposable.
Awful service . Andre came out to appraise the home . And consider the house not liveable . Well what he concidered not liveable was that there was apart of the hardwood floors were ruff and some dry wall needed to be Spakled. And a issue with a gutter outside . I have bought many homes in my life and this by far bites the dust ! No wonder they have a low rating on here didn t even look till now . I lost a lot of money because the matter of Opinion over cosmetic things and let s be honest they are . Hopefully future people and banks will see this before using this company .

If someone asks you to use their services, tell them you want another firm. They undervalue your home by exaggerating small issues.
I have no idea how this company is still around, They instruct management to write fake reviews on glassdoor to seem approachable, but the only one's scoring is the CEO with woman from his Sales team.
