Pro Dog Training Review

I have found the staff and training offered at Pro Dog to be outstanding. There is an amazing knowledge base from which to draw and they are open and receptive too their clients.

Dave and his team are awesome trainers who treat all their clients like family and their dogs like their own. Could not recommend enough.

Highly recommend! Pro Dog is a fantastic facility, they have highly skilled trainers and host numerous workshops ran by some amazing Australian trainers. I take my German Shepherd to David for one on one lessons and she and I find them so valuable! The trainers use modern methods and are very clear about what level of work you'll need to put in to achieve the results you want. Whether you have a new puppy or an older dog with issues I'd highly recommend you get in touch with the team at Pro Dog!

Couldn't recommend the puppy prodigies training anymore! Both myself and my husband learned so much about interacting wirh our dog. Every session we came away with practical advice and training strategies which always made big differences to our lives with our puppy at home.
Trainer Sallie was very patient (with both us and the dog!) and caring towards the well being and development of our pup.

At first I left a negative (1 star) review for my experience at Pro Dog Training as I did not feel that I received the necessary attention and outcome that I expected from the Puppy Prodigy training course.

I provided feedback via google reviews which was immediately attended to by the general manager David, who went on to investigate my feedback and implement the necessary changes within the course and among the trainers.

David had shown true professionalism, good will and provided me with a full refund in addition to trying private training if I so chose.

The wealth of knowledge and experience that this team has is priceless

Their social media content is also extremely informative, providing lots of handy tips and hints to help owners with their dogs

The puppy prodigy class is really good for beginners. Well organised. David and Sally teach key concepts, then I just spend time there repeating the technique to develop the correct training sequence. Most of the work to develop your puppy has to be done at home. Sally and David try their level best to provide individual attention, and answer questions. I wanted my dog to learn to listen to me around other dogs, but sadly he was too disruptive and had to be given a sepeate pen, so as not to annoy the other pups.

I love Pro Dog's work and how committed to ongoing training and studying their team is. And clearly, the animals love them! Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We just started training with Julie for our new Greyhound Gus. Julie has been amazing and has a really engaging and practical teaching style. Great facilities. Pro Dog also have a Greyhound-specific course which is fabulous.

Pro Dog Training is a fantastic place to take your dog! Dave is a wealth of knowledge and brilliant at making a training plan that suits your dog. None of this one size fits all at ProDog! I have learnt so much from working with Dave and feel that Georgie (my Australian shepherd) and I are that much closer to achieving our goals. Thanks so much Dave for all your help.

Dave (and his team) are highly experienced and run a professional yet friendly indoor training facility - makes you wish you had that in your own house! Dave's knowledge when it comes to understanding canine behaviour is second to none, and after having both private lessons and group lessons, I can highly recommend both. Both my dog & I grow from every single session - and I drive 1 hour each way to attend, so that must say something!

Worth every penny!

We booked a 1:1 class with Julie within a week of starting our adoption trial with our greyhound Amber. This was a great introduction to Pro Dog and Julie gave us some advice and techniques to help build Amber's trust and confidence in us before we started the Greyhound Graduates program a few weeks later. We just finished the 8 week program and couldn't recommend it more! Amber was the most timid and scared pup but by applying the things we learnt into our everyday routine, by the end of the 8 weeks Amber was bounding up the stairs to class, and has become so much more confident. Her progress has been amazing. The small class size is great and Julie's advice and knowledge was invaluable in helping us understand greyhound behaviour. A fantastic program, facility and trainer, highly recommened!!

David, Julie and the other staff at Dog Pro are extremely professional and knowledgeable about dogs and how to obtain the best from your canine companions. Awesome instruction, happy and great experience for you and your dog(s).
