I've been taking my vehicles to Priority Honda for well over 10 years. Dave Gressley is an excellent mechanic and I highly recommend him. He has always told me to come to Priority Honda when I was ready to purchase a new vehicle and I'm so glad we did!!! We purchased a 2019 CR-V on Friday. Lamont Williams was our salesman and Denise Watkins the Sales Manager. They were an excellent team and made sure we purchased the vehicle we wanted, with a price we could afford. We were so pleased! Thank you for making this experience such a positive one!

Bought a car in June and of course the process was...

Bought a car in June and of course the process was easy. They wanted us to buy the car and get out. Even bought a paint protection/gloss treatment. Was told somebody would be in contact with me to set up appt for that. It is now OCTOBER - and it hasn t happened. I have called many times with no attempt to call me back.

That s not the only issue. I had a few stains in the 2017 HRV I bought - I was told they would call to make an appt to have them removed by a special detailer. Once again, that hasn t happened. There is also a burn mark on the seat the sales rep looked at and said oh didn t seem to care about that. Again, I have called, And have not heard back after a few attempts. The managers are always away at the moment you call.

It s very disappointing to know that this place is only out to get a sale to meet a quota and then shove you out the door.

Look elsewhere!

Priority Honda of Chesapeake never ceases to amaze...

Priority Honda of Chesapeake never ceases to amaze me. I will say that my first buying experiences did not go as smoothly as I would like; nothing typically does at first. However, I can honestly tell you that Mr. Robert Chen and his team go WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND to make even the most difficult and unrealistic situations manageable. I have seen other reviews and I can understand why some people would disagree with me; in fact, my initial review of this dealership was 1 star. HOWEVER, if you give them a chance, the team of Priority Honda Chesapeake will make your experience and purchase worthwhile.

Shout out to Jack B. for helping me trade in my Civic and find our new CR-V. He made the trade-and-buy process easy to manage, and I didn't feel like I was being sucked in to a black hole of confusion. We'll definitely come back to Priority for our next car purchase.

II went to Priority Honda of Chesapeake this morning because I desperately needed new windshield wipers before the Tropical Storm Isaias hits tomorrow. I did not know if I needed blade inserts or the whole wiper blade. I have never put them on before. I spoke to Tito in the Parts Department. He looked at my car, sold me the whole wiper blades and put them on for me.

These wiper blades are so much better and I am very satisfied!

Thank you, Tito, for explaining the wiper blade process and being so thorough. Priority Honda of Chesapeake, you have a GREAT ASSOCIATE!

I am very disappointed with the finance manager and overall staff of this company. You guys failed to meet my expectations and standards. I was sold an extended warranty and requested to cancel the extended warranty. The Financed guy Dj assured me the warranty will be canceled and I will be refunded a month later I checked in to see the status and the finance guy said they dropped the ball and lost the paper work. So I signed the cancellation form for the extended warranty again and did a follow up call with priority to see if it was done once again they assured me it was canceled and I will be refunded a month later so a month go by, I check the status with the finance manager, he stated he doesn t know what is going he just got back from Europe. After he checked he stated it s canceled and I should be refunded soon. something didn t seem right from the look of his face, so I called the extended warranty company and they stated the warranty is still active. Now to my knowledge all you guys simply have to do is fax the cancellation from to them but once again it seems like rocket science to the company. you guys risked having a customer for a warranty I will never purchase a vehicle from this company again. if a higher up want to take responsibility and provide me a good explanation of what s going on here please do. Other wise I will just come in my self and use your fax to fax a simple form.

To begin, I already knew going into a dealership w...

To begin, I already knew going into a dealership was going to be painful as car dealers are usually pushy. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I arrived at Priority Honda Chesapeake. My wife and I came just to test drive a car and see if it was the right fit for us. Going inside we got dirty looks from everyone inside, even the receptionist. After asking her if there was anyone available to test drive a car, she notified a young man who was frantic in trying to figure out his own situation to begin with. He then got a man by the name of William Anderson to come around to show us the car. He was friendly at first, we went on the test drive, and he told us some of the features of the vehicle we were looking at. After we pulled back into the lot he asked us if we were ready to buy the car. Which was already abrasive and we told him no, we were just seeing what the market had to offer and we didn t know if it was the right one for us. He then old us to come inside and we could look at some options that we have. This is when the harassment began. We told him our budget, how much we were looking to spend, and what we wanted. We wanted to trade in, so he told us he could appraise our car. MISTAKE. He took our car keys, his team took our car on a test drive which we did not agree to, then kept the keys to OUR car. He pulled every trick out of the 20 year old book. He harassed us endlessly for over an hour telling us that if we financed it this way he could do this. If we did this he could do this. And repeatedly we told him no, we needed to talk about our options at home as the price he had given us wasn t within our budget. He would then tell us what did he have to do to sell this car right now. Over, and over, and over again. Finally we said we had to be somewhere soon and would like our keys. He finally said, ok, but what do I have to do to get you out the door with this new car? We said nothing please let us go. He said ok, wait a minute. Then proceeds to take 20min to get OUR car keys once again. And comes back with another list of different pricing options to the same car we didn t want. After we left I was barraged with texts about the car and how a used option wasn t available and it had to be that car since it was the last one on the lot. I dealt with this 2 days after until I finally had to block his number. If you want to go to a helpful and useful car lot go to Checkered Flag Honda.

There is no other place I will go to get my vehicle serviced or to purchase a vehicle. Priority Honda has top of the line customer service and the customer is always the priority. If you have a safety concern with your vehicle drop it off and they will make the time to look at your car to make sure you and yours are safe. Best dealership all around! We love Priority Honda!

Outside a couple times, I've always enjoyed coming to the dealership for oil changes and State Inspection, paid for by the Priorities For Life. All of the amenities have been removed due to COVID, and the car wash is no longer available due to repair needs that apparently will not happen. Employees are always very kind, polite, and courteous.

If I could give a 0 I would. Unethical sales practices. Salesman Charles McCord stated that the $500 hold I put on a card was so that I show interest in it and for no one else to purchase until I return. He took my card and swiped it for the amount and told me it was refundable. I contacted the Finance Department and left my contact info because they were busy the entire day to return my phone call, as you can imagine when you say you are calling about getting s refund. Directly after I texted the Salesman Mr. McCord no response so I texted him and he responded the next day saying it is non refundable. Ron from the finance department contacts me saying it is non refundable even after I explain my concern with the salesman. Ron then says we put all this work in to a deal and now you don t want to buy because of the bank I chose. He tells me I can get my money back only if I let him run my credit and am not approved. What kind of business practice is that, no thank you. B.B.B complaint filed contacting corporate.

Thank you so much to Kelsey! She helped me take home my dream car; a perfectly customized 2020 Honda Civic EX-L for the best price in southeast Virginia. I usually dread speaking on the phone with salespeople because I don t want to be sold, especially when knowing exactly what I want. However, Kelsey made my experience personal and I even made a new friend out of it. By far, my best interaction in buying a car (this is my 5th time buying a car but this is my first brand new car). I drove 2 hours to buy a car from this woman and it was worth it. If you re in the 804/757 area and need to purchase a vehicle, I highly recommend seeking Kelsey out at Priority Honda Chesapeake.

I was called by a salesman from the dealership regarding my 2015 Honda Civic - they wanted to buy it for their used car inventory. Upon my arrival, after speaking with Sales Manager Aaron Beta, I was offered $6000 less than was indicated during the previous phonecall, despite the car being in good condition, with no real damage and @ 15000 miles per year. This was a waste of about an hour of my valuable time, and I terminated our conversation at that point to leave.

My Civic was NOT where they told me it was as I left, requiring me to go back inside to find someone to retrieve it. As I left the building towards my car, salesman Steven McCall came after me and said, "Why don't you act like a f***ing adult (edited).

I have purchased 2 automobile from this dealership in the past 6 years, but today they lost my business forever.

Priority takes excellent care of me and my Honda. They are always courteous, they shuttle me back to work when I drop my car off, and pick me up promptly when it's finished. And they never try to sell me services I don't need! I love my free oil changes, and always know my money is well spent for other services.

We had a great experience with Priority Honda. It was our first time that we can remember ever doing business with them. They were professional, and courteous but most of all they left out the hassle. I told them what I wanted and for how much and they gave it to me. That simple!

Oh, and have you seen the facility? We bought our car really late so they asked if we would come back the next day to detail it... the hour that we spent there went by smoothly. We got a 20 minute message, some Starbucks coffee (Cocoa for me), and some work done in the Mac Lounge.

I took my car in for a service appointment as normal. I had this noise coming from my transmission I needed them to take a look at. Priority Honda took a look at the transmission and found the program that I would need to replace my transmission. It was hard for me to hear that as my 2014 Honda Accord only has 87K miles and it would cost about $4K. The next day this amazing Dealership reached out to Honda on my behalf to get Honda to goodwill me a new transmission, so I wouldn't have to pay for it. I really appreciate it and they will always have my business. This experience confirms my decision to be Honda owner and to be brand loyal. Thank you again Priority Honda!

Shady Unprofessional approach.Completed initial contact form for a specific vehicle. Requested email only and best out the door pricing. Sean Yancey still initiated a call, text and sent an email. I was told only best price is reserved for those who come into the dealership. Multiple times requested with no e-price beyond the MSRP. E-price means just that, not just a way to gather sales leads and contact information. Attention to detail and what the customer is asking matters. I respect both of our time, so I expect this in return. Dumbfounded at Sean s response by email.

I dread buying cars let alone a pre-owned vehicle. My adventure began a week ago as I started on line shopping, reading Edmond's Reviews and Car Fax. I decided after much homework that I wanted a pre-owned Honda CRV. I found one that I liked and was rated well at Priority Honda in Chesapeake so completed the pre-work and not less than ten minutes I received a call. I explained my needs which included my financial status and was very clear what I wanted. The very next call was from a salesman, Scottie Holley and we had a very relaxed conversation about my preferences. He was very understanding, not pushy and we arranged to meet. For 3 days I practiced the art of negotiating because my experiences have always been painstaking. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and then was introduced to Scottie Holley. I saw he had the car I was thinking of already parked at front (nice touch by the way). So I immediately thought, okay, hook, line and sink her. We sat down and discussed some options including a salvage trade in then went to look at the car. He explained everything the car had to offer and handed me the keys and off I went for a little test drive. I really liked this car but was still nervous about the anticipated "deal". We again sat down and we talked more about Priority's Certified Program in a way that I understood and not once did I feel any pressure. He laid everything out and my anxiety started to dissipate. We went back a few times until both of us felt we had reached an agreement satisfactory to both of us. My anxiety had now turned to excitement about the purchase of my new vehicle. I actually started to have a good time. Never have I had the experience that I had today with a car salesman. I felt no pressure, not tricks up his sleeve and he coordinated the entire experience with care and compassion. We had made a connection and I felt that we had known each other for a long time. I consider myself very intuitive to people and while some might say it is a car salesmen's shtick to make the customer feel the way I felt, I don't think this was trickery. It felt genuine. I felt Scottie Holley was looking out for my best interests and my needs. He went above and beyond what I had expected and I did not second guess myself or have buyers remorse when I drove off the lot in my new "pre-owned" Priority Certified CRV. It almost makes me want to go buy another car from him. Priority Honda in Chesapeake has a gem of a salesmen in Scotty Holley. Hats off to them for hiring him and for people like me, it was the first time I have ever had such a positive car buying experience. He really sells the Priority Brand and does it exceptional. I can't say enough about the service department, we've had three Hondas, and they've always been fast efficient and very friendly. They don't try to oversell us stuff we don't need, and on occasion they've saved us money by recommending we don't get some of the things we thought we needed. Love it when a car service department says oh you don't really need that why don't you just save your money.

He is patient, helpful and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured, from the beginning he gained my trust. I will most definitely recommend more people to visit due to Mr. Fleeger and staff. I m such a happy customer and excited about my new vehicle.

We were just at this location and planned on purchasing a 99 Toyota Avalon for a secondary, simple vehicle since we just had our first kid a couple months ago. Listed online for 2499 and we have the cash and ready to go. I ve been communicating through Facebook messenger and last night and this morning I was texted by a person named Anthony Stanley about coming into the dealership. Last text I received was around 9-10 am from him. Get there close to 11am and then was told that a) the sales manager would not allow the car to be sold b) it had mechanical problems c) they didn t want me to contact the news?! In addition, Mr.Stanley just stops mid sentence and walks away when telling me about a trade-in going for the same price of around 2500. A few minutes later he approaches me saying he pulled around the recent trade-in Acura so I can look at it. Reluctant and a little annoyed, I proceed to go outside with him. As I m looking and asking questions, he s on his phone texting. Nice professionalism you have, Mr. Stanley. I really feel like a customer who is a priority . Sadly I already have a 2018 Elantra with Priority Hyundai... had it not been for our current car, I would not do business with any of you. You just proved to me that people are only a priority if they are there to give you all big sales and commission. Simple steps could have been taken to avoid all this and not waste our time. You know like contacting me saying the vehicle was no longer available to be sold ( even though you said you had no way of contacting me but you texted me this morning ). Also, you might want to remove the ad so others don t write negative reviews like I am this moment. Also, learn to lie better if you re going to be a car salesman.

Hit my credit with 5 hard inquiries on a car that I did not even consider getting or discussing with the gentleman about. Dropped my credit by 40 points for what?? Nothing. Would not recommend doing any dealings with the salesmen here. Very shady stuff.

Bought my Honda Pilot here. I am happy with the vehicle and get free oil changes and inspections. It s a little far to drive but its worth it. They do charge $20.00 to rotate the tires. Their waiting area is not bad. 2 vending machines, a massage chair, a movie room and some TVs.

Anthony and Joel assisted me with the purchase of my new-to-me, used vehicle. I was very pleased with the whole process but especially with a few things. The first thing that impressed me was that they were not pushy at all, I genuinely felt like they wanted to help me purchase a car versus wanting to sell a car. They were also empathetic to the fact that I drove an hour and a half to get there. The second thing I appreciated was that they gave me a good trade-in value for my car, and third addressed all of the concerns I had about the vehicle I was purchasing. I would recommend purchasing a vehicle from Priority.

They do still try to up sell you (of course) during various parts of the process with add on s and warranties but I never felt pressured at all. Melleny does a good job at explaining the extra services you can take advantage of, and I appreciated Linda in financing who worked to get me the best rate and price she could.

My Mother and I purchased a new Honda from this dealer on 9/5/16. Our dealings with the salesman were fine. It was when the Manager stepped in to go over financing that things changed. He stated that he had to treat us "gently" since we were female, saw my glare, and changed it to "like my family members." We told him where we wanted to be with a monthly payment and his final figure was nowhere near the MSRP or our actual price paid. At our signing, additional fees were added and increased our monthly payment by almost $50.00. Had we not been exhausted and frustrated from our 5 hours already spent in the dealership, we would have been more aware of the discrepancies and possibly not purchased the vehicle.

Didn't end up making a purchase at Priority Honda (Chesapeake), but Stephen ("Mac") provided 5-star service. I callled him about a Nissan Rogue, and within minutes he had sent pics of the vehicle (that he personally had taken) to my cell. I told him that we were looking for an SUV at a certain price range and he stayed in constant contact with new inventory. He was super helpful and never pushy. I definitely will keep him in mind for future purchases. Awesome guy & great dealership!

Priority Honda on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake makes it so easy to keep my 2010 Honda Civic serviced regularly. Their fantastic Priorities for Life program (free oil changes, 17 point inspection & state inspection fees) means over the life of the vehicle I may save over $1000, and because it's free, I never hesitate to schedule it when the code pops up on the car's dashboard. Tire rotation is only $20, so I do that when it's recommended by mileage markers. They help me out by stringing out maintenance items that are more than $200, but keep a record so that I don't miss anything important. Add to that a very clean, spacious, and pleasant waiting area that includes a movie theater (haven't done that yet), recliners with massage motors, and free manicures on Wednesdays (which I haven't been able to do since summer, but it's a fun touch). Basically it's a color change, very basic, but still nice. Computers are available for use, free wi-fi, and restaurants in walking distance if you have to be there for a long repair. For oil changes, I'm usually out within an hour or so, and with online appointment scheduling, I can make it convenient. Owning a Honda purchased at Priority has been an excellent experience for me.

First brand new vehicle ever and I already want to hand it back. I have been trying to contact the finance department for a week now and no call back yet. All the while my daily interest keeps racking up because they never processed my paperwork for my loan. Priority Honda? Seems like I'm not a high priority.....

Update- still waiting for my plates and registration thanks to the lack of communication. It's going on 2 months now.

Had a state inspection done: was super easy to schedule, had 2 different phone reminders about my appt. Once arrived, everything was clean and well organized. Inspection took 30 minutes which is probably the fastest I have ever experienced! Kudos to you, guys! I m blown away! Thank you!
