This termite company is the worst! Their inspectors are rude and shady. When I asked for a termite inspection all I got in return was harassment and a rude employee named "Jessica" who threatened me several times after I wrote a bad review. Don't be fooled by their "positive" online reviews---I suspect they are paid for.

The guys from this company finished my termite work after working very hard for 3 days straight. I have a commercial building and fumigation was no option since it was attached to another structure which is huge. They worked with my contractor with repairs and termite treatments to make sure the building is now prevented against termites. They were very honest that there still will be termites left but will monitor routinely and do follow up treatments for no charge. They are very good, work fast and know their stuff. Thank you Prime Termite!
Honest, professional, prompt. Steve will not try to sell you anything you don't need. Prime Termite solved the carpenter ant problem in This Old House. Thanks!
For the volume of work I think that their price was more than reasonable. Wallace first gave me a quote for full house termite treatment, and then I decided to move forward with them because of professional presentation and quotation. Also, checked the reviews and other things too. I did not move out of my house, but scheduled the termite work during my vacation, and everything turned out to be better than I thought. Tenting was done on time and as scheduled. After that Armond came with his trainee and did the whole foaming with their natural stuff. I tented my house twice in last 10 years, and did not want to tent after another five years. As it seems to me, this time finally I got it right. Tenting kills active termites, but it does not prevent them from coming back. Foaming prevents termites from coming back, but not necessarily kills all termites. So, for only fraction of the price I did both - and now looks like will not bother with tenting again for long time. Should have done this way 15 years ago and would avoid tenting it all the time. I guess companies like putting that tent on my home, because every time they do it, my home becomes their advertisement billboard. They put their signs, logos phone numbers all over.
Our experience has been horrible. They do not honor their contract & reinspect & treat. They ignore emails, calls & all request to do so. If u use this co will be at great risk &expense.
I recommend this company to everyone. We had a great experience; they were quick, clean, and amazing results. Feels good to make the right decision with the amount money spent.
If you want to hire a termite company never ever hire those who sell you orange oil. I had bad experience in the past when back then the guy came several times and still could not solve termite issues after which we were forced to tent the whole house. The right way to go is either tenting the house or foaming or heating the whole house. I did online search, put keywords, and found out tons of useful videos, quality articles in Prime Termite s website. Just put natural or green termite control and find companies which have videos and photos of work they do. That s the best way to judge who does what and how. I even found out tons of very useful professional data in their website too. When their crew came, they came with two big truck fully loaded with top notch heaters and infrared foamers. So. These guys not only talk in their website but also do it in practice. I have a neighbor who even did not sign specific form that my house, not his could be fumigated, so even if I wanted I could not tent my home. Also, I don t care $1,000 or so extra I paid Prime Termite for doing everything without tent. Good stuff costs good money. I spend that much on organic food every month. So for one time to do termite work it s well worth it. If you do not want to tent, this company can definitely be a very good option for you.
Had a Termite Fumigation done in March 2017 and save for the actions of only ONE employee (Wallace, who has to be single-handedly keeping this company together) it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had with any company for any reason. I would strongly recommend that people considering Prime Termite to instead look at the cheaper (and higher quality service) from Eco Termite, or the more reliable and higher priced Terminix. In short, our experience was this: we collected a quote from PT and another competitor, and were planning on going with the competitor until we were assured that we could do a certain date (this was supposedly an exception that PT made, though it was clear from the beginning that if we couldn't do that date we'd have to go with another company.) PT's quote was slightly higher than the others but since they said they provided better service and were making an exception for us, we went with it. Big mistake. From then on, it was a circus just trying to communicate with someone. We'd send emails to the official address, and get responses one to two days later, fraught with typos, frequent confusing errors (on more than one occasion I received an email response with dates, times, or details completely contradicting what we had literally discussed on the phone hours prior) and it seemed very clear that the company wasn't communicating internally with each other. Consequently, I had to make up for this by constantly calling Wallace (because both of the 800 numbers I had been given, including the one on the website) and every time I spoke with him, he was just as confused as I was as to why there's all this miscommunication. Wallace was the only one who ever picked up the phone - out of 25 calls to PT's main number, 2 were actually answered by a human and not an answering machine. We became very scared the week leading up to the fumigation, as we hadn't received confirmation that all the "ducks were in a row" but had already purchased a hotel for the planned weekend. I had to interrupt several business meetings and events to do Prime Termite's work for them: communicating between the service people and the unresponsive office. Luckily, we got confirmation about 2 days before the fumigation, and got it all done the weekend we'd hoped. After the subterranian service had been completed the next week (where we also have a suspicion that PT's tech might've broken some of our irrigation pipes, which showed punctures and didn't run properly after that day,) I reached out to the office (left a voicemail after no one answered) requesting to talk to a manager - after all the hullabaloo you would suspect a 5 star rated company might offer you a discount for the inconvenience they caused. After no response to emails or the voicemail, I called Wallace, who said he would "call me back within 24 hours" and let me know one way or another. 4 days later I checked back when I hadn't heard anything. Shortly after, we received an invoice from PT, but no call or word about talking to a manager or offering a discount. I replied to the email, and days later got an EXTREMELY rude and aggressive response, demanding that the invoice be paid in full immediately, and threatening to sue us despite our last communication being "I'll get back to you about the invoice." I politely responded that such talk was disrespectful, requested and apology and an actual opportunity to talk on the phone with someone who can make a decision one way or another. (Poor Wallace is still the only one picking up his phone at this point) Instead, I receive an email response claiming that "their phone lines are always open" and falsely claimed that we had scheduled service at another home and canceled, and rather than apologizing for the rude tone, said - and I directly pull this from the email, syntax and grammar included: "If there was ,miscommunication with Wallace, it would not matter, since we sent you email" continued: "We could have done nothing and be not liable for fees" So no, they're not sorry, and have ZERO accountability.
I am so glad that hired Prime Termite after spending almost $10,000 on repairing my home. To make the long story short, about 2 years ago I went online, as you might do, and did a search for termite company and termite inspection. It sent me to a homeadviser website that advertises also on TV all the time. I just filled up some form, and almost immediately started receiving emails and phone calls from these termite companies. I did not research about them, but thought since they are all over the TV and claim to be experts of choosing the right company, then they must have referred me to the best match based on what parameters I put on their long form. So, one of the termite companies offered me I think $1,200 to treat according what they say "the whole house" , and the house is almost $3,000 SF. I met two companies, and one of the gave me $650 quote and the other one I believe under $1,000. I decided to go with the middle quote, so hired the last company that came. What happened was they came stayed there for like an hour sprayed some things on wall and went. Later when my neighbor was having a party I met with a termite inspector from Prime Termite, and he just came close to my home, looked the drilling and told me there was no proper work done. Then I told him that none of these three inspectors checks attic, under the house, and spent no more than 5-10 minutes just looking at what I show them. He said that I just wasted my money on them. At that time I thought that he just wanted more business from me, and was joking, but asked him to leave his card.
Fast forward about a year, and I am noticing droppings coming from my ceiling, Then I decided to check the attic myself since we have an easy way to go there, and found some wood damage there. I lost the business card of Prime Termite man, but as soon as I looked online I found them easily. So, Joe came, and as soon as he started checking the house, he told me that back of my all patio under stairs is heavily damaged. I understand my house is on the hill, and I needed to check, but did not understand how it was not checked before. He told me to be on the safe site, since the patio partially is also supporting the part of the house it's better to call a civil engineer. He also went under the house and attic and found tons of other damage too. If you have a new house in Glendale area, then you just cannot wait 20 years and not do any termite work, or worse - hire the guys from homeadviser, who try not to do anything, and just get couple of quick bucks. I thought that if another company is referring you them, then I should trust, but it's actual the opposite. These companies, Joe told me pay homeadviser to refer me, if I paid homeadviser instead then they would send me good contractors. But I guess nobody wants to pay for something you can get free. OK, it's free but you have to read tons of reviews and chose right company for you, because neither yelp nor Google do it for you. And again the ones who do the "searching" for you like homeadviser and angies list they sent you the wrong guys since get paid by them.
Anyway, my fumigation, foaming and subterranean termite work is done after I did wood repairs, and I cannot be happier. Highly recommend Prime Termite.
I am a customer of Prime Termite already 9 years, and all started when I called them for local treatment instead of fumigation since at that time I was suspecting that had a cancer. Fortunately I had no cancer, but doctors wanted to make some quick bucks, but house was foamed, and my slab kitchen was treated by against ground termites. Since it was a 2-day process, I moved from my home, though later when I found out there was no need for that. Their extermination works fine at that time because after I called 2 more times that year, termites disappeared altogether. I also opened my kitchen walls at that time when it was falling down, and repaired tons of wall studs, etc. Kitchen was falling down because ground and subterranean termites were coming from the crack, also when you clean or even little water goes on kitchen floor, it gets sucked under the slab, and it brings termites, since they like the moisture. So, instead of them putting tons of chemicals under my kitchen slab so that later vapors will come and I would breath next 10 years, they foamed the walls instead with their natural stuff, so that it won't let termites to eat the walls. They put chemical though, but outside far from kitchen to block termite movement to my house. I had my patio eaten at least 20% by termites. They not only repaired but also put termite killing natural stuff on patching material at that time.
So, after couple of months until now I haven't seen any problems. No fumigation, no replacing patio, no kitchen fallout, no termite infestations for almost 10 years.
So, recently I decided to sell the house, and call them for inspection. . They pulled up my info right away after 10 years of service, and were ready to send inspector. The problem was they could come only after 3 days, but I was on rush and needed to check the next day. Harry told as a former customer they will see if can move some stuff on their schedule and make it happened, and would call me back by end of day. But after I made couple of phone calls to other termite companies, I quickly found someone to come next day. So, I called Harry and told there was no need for that.
So, the other termite inspector is coming, checking my home, and he is chocked - on my area having a house in such a pristine state is impossible. He told me that works on my neighborhood, and yet to see a house which was in such a state that mine. He told me that I should have replaced the whole patio and probably already done 2 fumigation during this time to keep the house in good state. Also, he told that saw no ground termites or damage.
So, I just paid $140 and he gave me my papers for escrow sale. So, to me Prime Termite is the Mercedes of termite control in Los Angeles area since another inspector - not me or one of their inspector told me that.
I would definitely call Prime Termite if I have any issues, and highly recommend everyone. My word of appreciation for a great honest service.
So I called the office Harry answered the phone very polite person he answered all my questions one by one I got scheduled right away I also got a Conformation and a reminder I'm glad to hire this company to treat my property Jose the inspector did a excellent job inspecting my property I got a fare quote I took the job done right away Wallace did a wonderful job treating my property very nice guy he was explaining to me step by step on what needed to be done he didn't leave any mess after the work was done also the owner stoped by to see if the work was going good i am going to refer this company to my friends and family members as well I am very satisfied thank you prime termite you guys did a wonderful job !
Hector and Hector came to perform termite services at my house this morning. They were very professional and thorough and made sure to clean up when they were done...Can't even tell they were here. They stayed a full day (one of the hottest this summer) and were pleasant from beginning to end.
I liked Prime Termite's and Joe's methodical approach of inspecting my home. Not only they inspected the whole, but also attic and under the house too. Joe found tons of other things other inspectors did not find. I will use their company because of the fair price and reasonable option they offer. They do not want to tent because the whole house because found only 3 spots on my house. The other company found only one wing of termite and wanted to put all toxic gas on my house. My house is almost 100 years old and have never had any termite damage even though has never been tented or have major termite work done. Even if they do life extension and I live for another 100 years, this house won't fall down because of termites, then why they wanted to put a toxic gas on my house? I will go with Prime Termite's option and recommend the same if you don't have lots of termites and termite damage on your home. Also, pay attention how experienced the inspector is. The other company was referred to me too, but inspector looked like a teenager.
Great service. Both Hector in the office and Hector in the filed were great. Fast, clean service and super friendly. Great price as well. I would totally recommend to anyone who needs termite help!
Larry and the team did a great job on my dad s house. They tented the whole house and sperayed under it too for subterranean termites. We got 4 estimates, and Prime Termite s was not the cheapest, I must say. We even had a company which quoted for $650 for termites. He too had 5-star rating in google. But the problem was he wanted to treat those drywood termites which we already found. Did not even go look further. Since last year we already did that type of treatment by Arnold s termites and it did not work, we decided to do more thorough treatment. We went with Prime Termite since Larry worked really hard to accommodate with our schedule and Rich the inspector found lots of stuff on our attic and under the house. Only Rich told us we had leak under our house and needed to call a civil engineer since our house is on the hill and can just wreck badly. I would highly recommend Prime Termite with Rich to inspect thoroughly even if you see minor termite problems. If we have acted like last year would not let all these termites to flourish and on top of that lose lots of money on micky mouse work which was not effective. If the compay does not do a good and thorough inspection as the other guys did this time, then don t hire them, call another company until you find the one whose inspector spends at least 40 minutes to check your home. That s pretty much it comes down to best inspectors do the best termite job too.
Don't wait like me for 10 years and be lazy to do any tenting or spraying for termites. I thought these critters won't do much harm, but they can. Their inspector was very honest and told that I needed to do lots of work. They did it all - sprayed all the walls, pocked every single wood you could find in the house, fixed the roof, garage, almost rebuilt the patio, everything. Inspector showed up 3-4 times during the work. All together 2 big trucks worked for 4 days. It cost me dearly, nothing is free, but well worth it. Very efficient guys. I was thinking that will spend a fortune, but no, cost is reasonable.
Did lots of checkups before hiring this company, and it paid off.
