Prestonwood Country Club Review

My company's Christmas party was held here. The food was amazing and the facilities were great.

The head of security, Jeff Borski, has never dealt with my location of business 4-hours away yet finds it appropriate to spam me with bad reviews! So here's an irrelevant review for you!

This visit was nothing short of amazing!! My aunt had her 90th birthday party here and it was such a great time. The brunch buffet was fabulous and there was nothing missing on the buffet as far as breakfast, lunch, seafood, salad, fruit, etc. The service was great and the clubhouse is beautiful.

Great course, walking on cushion throughout the fairway, greens are rolling true. Staff are wonderful.

Attended the NCER MTG with Gary Tomlinson .Tom Tillis presented. Got to catch up with several friends I have not seen in awhile.

Lunch buffet was excellent. Great variety of salad, desserts, and main course.

Food was good. Did not play golf but the course looked good.

Played golf here at a organizational golf tournament. Swanky clubhouse and very nice course.

Edit: Played here again yesterday at another tournament. Man this course is excellent. Great to perfect shape. 5 stars.

It's always good! Have been spending Sunday brunch here for years and continue to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Nice place for a meeting. Venue was great. Buffet was varied and abundant. Staff were friendly. Morning parking was a little tough. Had to park by tennis courts for clubhouse meeting.

Course was in fantastic shape for the SAS PGA Senior Wild Card Golf event.

My family works there. They love working there. That's all I need.

Went to a wedding here... the place looks immaculate and the main building has a stunning venue.

The clay tennis courts are awesome! Always love playing there. Also, the Prestonwood buffets are about the best buffet you can find ANYWHERE - hands down. For only around $20.00 you will have the best meal you could dream of....

Prestonwood Country Club is generally recognised as one of North Carolina's top-quality golf venues, which offers three very good tree-lined and open parkland layouts: Fairways, Meadows and Highlands. The courses provide a wonderful test for your all-round game with many excellent holes to enjoy. This is a private course generally playable only by members and their guests.

My favorite place to go for a meeting or company party! I Always feel they rule the carpet out for you. Food was devine!

Extremely nice facilities but course wasn't quiet in the condition I expected. Greens were fantastic but fairways were hit and miss....

We held a reception here - approximately 90 people for a lunch/afternoon reception. Jo-Anne was amazing to work with. She took care of every detail prior to the event and was incredibly responsive to email. The staff working the reception were all professional, helpful, and nice. Many guests complimented the buffet, and especially the dessert buffet. Honestly, I was busy with my professional work leading up to the event and never even asked details about the "assorted desserts" and I was floored by the variety, quantity and quality. Thanks so much for the worry-free experience.

I'm not a member, but had the opportunity to enjoy the lunch buffet here as a guest. This review is limited to their lunch buffet.

The service was efficient and friendly. There's a nice salad bar with the buffet with fresh greens and an assortment of fruit and veggies. I rate the salad bar a 4 or 4.5.

The main buffet has bakee potatoes, rice, and a vegetable side. There's usually 3 choices of meat, including a poultry and pork or beef. Sometimes there's a fish or lamb option too. I've always found their beef and pork to be lacking tenderness. Given that, I rate the buffet a 3.5 or 4.

The final portion of the meal is the dessert table, which was a real pleasure. If you like chocolate, the Preston Pie is a must try. They have probably 10 different desserts to choose from, all good. 5 stars for the dessert. So go easy on the meat and save room for the sweets.

Truly amazing golf course. Totally worth the 80. Championship Bermuda greens were in perfect condition.

I am a member at Prestonwood and I love the daily lunch buffet! I just took my mom there to celebrate her 82nd birthday. It's always so well maintained and the food is amazing.

This club is pretty popular and their food is awesome! They have a wide selection for every taste buds: salads, large fruit displays, soups and even daily carved meats. However, they seem to be using undocumented, sketchy workers when they have large gatherings in their banquet halls. I go there on a pretty regular basis for meetings and social events so I know the regular partimers.
I remember one morning last year I was there for a breakfast meeting and made a basic request to the guy waiting on us. I think it was a roll of silver and he had no clue but he understood enough to tell me he was from Meheeco when I asked him. As a guest, I would like to know which company is sending this "help" to the club?

The potatoes drowned in butter are amazing, everything is delicious

I just had dinner in the Red Fox tonight, what the country club calls their bar and grill. Everything was terrible, I came as a guest of some members and I could tell even they were mortified. I asked if there was a head chef we could speak to but the server seemed to not have an answer. I was shocked that a country club with such an exciting menu would be so disappointing.

A university graduation event was held here that I had the privilege of attending. The location and facilities were beautiful, clean, and luxurious, and the food was well-arranged and cooked to perfection. The docked star is for the rather disorganized wait staff: throughout the meal they had trouble delivering the vegetarian and gluten-free menu options to the correct people (though in the end everyone received the appropriate food). Other than that one complaint, everything else was pristine, and I would highly recommend it.

We had a small wedding here, and the Prestonwood was an excellent venue. Staff was amazing, food and pastry chef made wedding cake were excellent. Pricing was much lower than many other places and a really good value. Thank you for making the day extra special.

Really nice pool. Exercise facility is lacking in option compared to others in the area. Needs to come into tbe 21st century's. Very lacking in understand the way people work and relate these days. Very few options and opportunities for dual working families. Assumes all mothers are stay at home moms and the are very few options for working moms.. Very old school views, males oriented views, old views. I have been very disappointed with the club since I joined excepted much for tbe cost and monthly fees. You get more from the local YMCA...

Clean, staffed with courteous individuals and well managed site. Aesthetically beautiful.
