Prestonwood Country Club Review

Always the best food and this was my first time having the breakfast buffet. Budget server did great keeping items stocked! Missed having the dessert bar, though. That stuff is heaven on a plate.

Went for an event and the air conditioning was broken throughout the entire ballroom! Made the 3 hour event pretty miserable so we left early. We could never get clarification from staff about whether it would be fixed before our event was over. Very disappointed!

Nice Country Club, but I was there to visit a client's home, and didn't really experience fully what Prestonwood Control Club has to offer.

I attended a lunch meeting. The food and desserts were scrumptious.

Never disappoints. The staff, in all areas, are always customer focused. The facilities are amazing.
Food, drinks, fitness, swimming, tennis or golf- there is no need to go anywhere else.

Played the highlands course. Grounds are very well kept. Great staff. What is not to love.

Came here with a few colleagues. One of us is a member here. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Beautiful golf course, spacious dining halls. Not crowded. Food was delicious at a reasonable price.

The food at Prestonwood is always excellent. Their luncheon Buffet is outstanding. Great Fruit & salads, but the best of all is there extensive dessert table.

It is Golf, Golf and all Golf all around. Beautiful ambience, just awesome. Lush green, well maintained grass, well trimmed, beautiful, smooth as silk and one will not like to walk on it. It has got huge several Golf fields and one can see many playing even on week day!! Its facilities being used by its members optimally. The Country Club has also got huge Swimming Pool. Club has also got Lawn Tennis Courts. It is said that first impression is the last impression, and it is very true for Country Club entrance where one can see an officer sitting to help you and provide information about Club and its activities. Waiting space here is well decorated and one would like to sit here for hours. Officer on the Counter is friendly and ready to help you. One can see carts being driven by Golfers all around the area. Well maintained restrooms for both men and women can be seen, wherever needed. These and other facilities come at a hefty membership fee. It has got membership for Full Golf, Tennis, Social, Dining and National (primary residence must be outside 100 mike radius of Club). In addition, monthly dues ranging from $115 to $550 are also to be paid. If fee is paid in full, one can get a discount of 20 percent. The Club has got Golf, Recreational and Dining Amenities all that offers varieties of options. Non-members can also host parties here for which they can contact Club Officers. Overall, a look around the area gives very impressive picture.

My husband and I got married at Prestonwood Country Club, and we could not have been happier with our choice! Jo-Anne and Kathy made sure our day went smoothly and were so easy to work with. They made sure my husband and I were comfortable and that we had what we needed the whole time. The venue looked so beautiful and there was plenty of room inside and for parking making it so comfortable and easy for all of our guests. It was an absolute dream of a day!

It's a beautiful place and the food is mediocre I think people hold venues here because it's affordable

Member for 3 years. Staff is great. They're always working to improve the golf course. Food and beverage is awesome. Fitness facility is growing. Other members are terrific. Great value for the expense.

Everything was great ,when I walked in the venue it's an open area, every spacious, and after you have decorated the venue everything start coming together and it looks so marvelous ,and not only that the people there are so nice and takes good care of you at the venue, if anyone pick this venue they pick the very best one in Cary they will make sure that everything is in place for the whole event you would not have to take care of anything.
The food is good, when you have tasted it for the first time the food is even better for the second time.

This review is strictly for hosting work seminars there during lunchtime. They always have the rooms set up exactly how we want it. They offer projectors, av carts, etc. The food is fantastic and is a buffet. They assign a server and you never even notice them during the event.
Overall a great place and we do an event here at least twice if not more times a year.

The food was delicious, with lots of gluten free options. Perfect meeting space!

The Eastern NC Section of IEEE held its Awards Banquet at the beautiful Prestonwood CC. The banquet area was beautifully decorated with trees, other greens, and lights. As usual, the food was delicious, and they had a wide variety of foods.

Excellent three-course Golf Club. On the PGA Champions Tour

An elegant club with a focus on golf. They also have tennis, swimming and fitness. The food is superb. Several sites for meetings and events, weddings, etc. Ballroom can host hundreds.

We've eaten at the restaurants here a couple of times. We're not members but have been guests of members. Nice place. The restaurants have great food.

I worked in Fitness and just saw the review below by Zack who made it seem it s the entire club that is a hub for illegal immigrants. That s not accurate! It is only the Food & Beverage department that still uses these workers as servers in the Ballroom, Oak Room, the Pool (in the summers), and other upstairs meeting rooms on a regular basis. They do not work in back-of-the-house positions or in the Red Fox only front-of-the-house as servers. Because they are illegal immigrants, no background checks can be done on them, but background checks are a must for all Prestonwood employees. The members need to ask the ownership about this practice since the F&B Managers upstairs all know the workers are illegals.

The owners should hire high-school or college students, instead of continuously luring illegals from South of the border.

Prestonwood Country Club - If you love golf , tennis, working out, enjoy great food and not to mention meeting wonderful people - this is the Club to join.

Prestonwood is part of the Preston Golf Community. It's a premier community located in the heart of Cary NC. There are a variety of homes in the neighborhood. Restaurants, Retail, and medical facilities are located nearby. Prestonwood has 3 golf courses, tennis, swim club, and much more. I've had the opportunity to have lunch at Prestonwood Country Club many times as well as attend events there. It is one of the best lunch buffets around. There is more to choose from than you can consume. If you're vegetarian you'll find plenty to choose from. If you're dieting or watching what you eat there are also many options. Of course, they do have an impressive dessert display including the Preston Pie and my personal favorite the bread pudding.

I had my bridal shower and wedding here . It s really nice. They have SO MANY RESTRICTIONS for someone who wants out of the box ideas or things that are not traditional it s hard. They also charge for things you bring in just for allowing you to bring them. (Ex: sparklers for bride and groom exit. You have to bring everything and they charge you just to allow you to do it outside on the steps - not allowed inside the building.) overall the wedding was great but it s VERY VERY costly.

Beautiful club. I went to a party that surpassed all my expectations.

What I saw was very well maintained and very impressive.

Came here for a business meeting, and wish I could have tried the tennis courts. Not much of a golfer, but heard great things about their courses as well. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the buffet was probably the best buffet I've experienced outside of Vegas. If you can, get their signature chocolate cake. Easily the BEST chocolate cake I've ever had. Hands down.

Very nice staff. They take your plate when you leave for the buffet and even fold your napkins for you! They're both extremely helpful but stay out of your way! Great balance for a waiter
