Lauryn and Dr. Zimmerman are the best! Lauryn has been my hygienist for a couple years now, and for someone who hasn't been a fan of the dentist office in the past, she makes you feel right at home!

I had a pain free Root Canal performed today. I called and they got me in and out in about two hours. Highly recommend this group!

Although "loved it" might be a stretch, my double-crown work with Preferred was very well done. The two-hour procedure was handled very well. Dr. Saigal and Viki were awesome. They were patient, thorough, and thoughtful. With doing two crowns, they gave me breaks and checked on me often. I have had work done with Viki many times and appreciate her greatly. Cathy at the desk worked with me on a payment plan.

I appreciate Preferred and their staff. Dr. Regula is my son's orthodontist. He is both very experienced and very up to date.

Great team, they know how to make even my younger kids feel comfortable and excited to come see the dentist.

This corrupt dentist office pressures you into unnecessary procedures just to get the insurance money. Here's how: I went in for a checkup to which they told me I needed 7 fillings, with the total out of pocket co-pay exceeding $300. This was surprising to me as I take extremely good care of my teeth. That said, I asked many times if it was absolutely necessary to get that many fillings because I was a college student living on my own and I really didn't have extra money to blow on unnecessary procedures. In the end though they assured me it was important to get it taken care of now or else it would be more costly later on. Not knowing anything, I proceeded to have the first 2 fillings taken care of. This was back in November. Ever since then, the location of the filling has been extremely sensitive and painful, despite the fact that I went back twice to have it "fixed." HERE IS THE KICKER: Fast forward 7 months later, I go to an honest dentist which my parents go to see. After getting checked out, I expect them to tell me that I need the remaining 5 cavities taken care of. Their response? "You don't need any fillings whatsoever." TLDR: Don't go here unless you have extra money laying around to blow on pointless procedures which will leave you in pain indefinitely.

Do not go to this office ,if i could give zero stars I would. So let me tell u what this office did to me. I came in for a interview, I was honest with them about not having alot of training in some of the things they did there. I came for a working interview everything went fine, got hired in. My first day was bad the girls who I was with training me names Darlisa, and Diana, were so rude to me the entire time, they had an attitude made me feel so unwelcome and stupid. So i ,MYSELF learn by doing things and not by watching people so I watched them half the day and was told to do a crown on my own so while I was doing it i had questions about making the temp crown, and Darlisa literally snatched the crown out of my hand and said " let me do it" with a huge attitude, well I'm not going to learn if i don't do it myself. Made me feel like I was stupid when I asked questions . Needless to say I went home and cried that night. So back tracking a little I come from Gental Dental in Westland MI, to where I was begged to stay because they loved me ,lover my positive attitude , I have great relationships with the patients and I have patients only request me to work with them they absolutely loved me there I've never had anyone not one single person ever say I had an attitude or wasn't willing to learn. I left that office because I am a single mother and needed to make more money to provide for my child. Anyway so the 2nd day I get there and Mari pulled me into her office and said the girls said I had a bad attitude, wasn't listening to them and was chewing gum and chewing it to loudly. I had no idea i wasn't allowed to chew gum there and if that was the case why didn't the doctor say something to me that day? I mean they made it seem like I was in the room chomping on the gum like I was a horse or something. So i left the office crying because I felt like I was being attacked for no reason because it was them being mean to me not the other way around. So me being the bigger person and wanting to have a good relationship with the people I work with i told Mari I was sorry if I had an attitude, then went up to Darlisa and apologized if it seemed like I was coming off a certin way towards her then went about my day actually got to do a filling in my own and then Darlisa came in to grab the paper to write what I did in the room with the patient and I told her to plz leave it so I could get use to doing it on my own. I finished did the paper and she came back 5 mins with the paper with an attitude and said " this is why I wanted to do it cuz u have no idea what u are doin " and I said well i need to learn and I make mistakes so just show me what i did wrong so I know for future. Then before lunch break she told me she was setting up for a certain patient for after lunch so after I came back from lunch Isaw her chart was up for her patient took him to her room got him.in the chair and realized the room was dirty from her not cleaning it and quickly moved the patient to my room which was clean. She saw what I did and ran and told the doc on me. Darlisa literally set me up ,she told me the room was clean and she was setting up for the patient before we even went on lunch break. So they fire me for that!!! She is pure evil! The front desk girls are so nice but in the back they are bullies. This was my only source of income. The doc didn't even have the courage to tell me himself i wasn't a good fit for him , and if i wasn't which i understood they could have at least gave me a couple of days to find a job cuz I am a single mom , my husband passed a year ago and I am the only provider for my home. This office doesn't care about people. They do not sterilize the slow speeds that goes into people mouth after they use them on patients that disgusting what if blood gets on them???? And u put it in other people's mouths? They leave unwrapped mirrors, syringes, explores and other tools in drawers where they touch with dirty gloves on!!!! I will be calling the better business bureau, the health agency, and letting everyone know !!!!

Excellent Staff! These folks are great, they really do value and appreciate you They are very caring for all of there patients. Dr.Hey's and Dr.Regula and the rest of the team are real winners. Thanks for all you do!

I have been driving by this practice for years and finally made the appointment. I ve never had to wait more than 5 mins. To be seen. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the doctors and assistants are the most personable people I ve met in a very long time. Believe it or not NO PAIN and I ve had extractions and crowns. This practice comes highly recommended!

I seem to be in the minority here, but there was something about this practice I didn't like (i visited 3 times). It seemed Sales-y. I get all practices are businesses, but some take it a little further than others. On top of that, I do take care of my teeth (including flossing), but somehow found I was almost being yelled at (or at least sternly talked to) by one of the docs about the fact that my gums bled during the cleaning.... which I understand is pretty normal during pregnancy (and I was pregnant at the time.) At any rate, I wouldn't recommend this practice to a family member or friend. This is my first ever Google review. I hope this causes someone to look at other options in the area first.

My family and I have been long time patients of Dr. Ragula. He has been treating my daughter for the past 10 years. He failed to uphold his duty and tell us that she needed jaw surgery when she was young. Due to his negligence, a different orthodontist told her that it could have been treated years ago Dr. Ragula needs to resign his role as owner of Preferred Dental as he is an embarrassment to the profession. I wish I could put zero stars.

They just take your money but dont provide the service they promise. Is everyone using covid 19 as an excuse to be less productive at there job. They are rude when you call. I would recommend you just go to the ER. This is by far the worst experience ive ever had in my entire existence.

Hadn't been to the dentist in 3 years, they got me in very quickly. The 3 times I went were all painless -- and this is including 2 fillings (one without numbing) and a deep clean. Everyone was very professional and nice.

Delightful customer service, excellent dentist, wonderful atmosphere

I have been coming to Preferred Dental for about 3 years now. Andrea is a wonderful hygienist and very friendly! This was my first time seeing Dr. Lyddon and she was excellent! She took the extra time to explain concerns I had and refit my 4 year old night guard after not wearing it for over a year. All the front desk staff are welcoming and make the environment warm. Since COVID-19 they have gone above and beyond my expectations, with medical grade air filters in every room, proper PPE, and extra precautions for working with their patients. Highly recommend!

Horrible office, my husband has been going there for years and the other day when he was there getting work done , a worker who what seemed to be new he said cuz hes never seen her before was being trained and the girls i think her name is darlisa was so mean to her was rude and had a horrible attitude and he said he heard her and another worker talking badly about her . plz go somehwere else the girls are so rude and mean.

Dr. Isler is amazing! He extracted my wisdom teeth and did my periodontal surgery. From the first meeting he made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going to happen. As well as educating me on what home care I would need to do. The surgery and removal went perfect and we even joked and laughed during it. From the front desk staff, Dr. Isler and his team I would strongly recommend this practice!

I would have given them a zero if I could. Let me tell you what they did to me. I have very good insurance with a zero copay on some procedures. I was informed that I need to have a filing removed and they need to crown the tooth. The estimate I got was zero due since my insurance covered the procedure. 2 years later I'm getting a bill for a core that was not covered. They filed an appeal with the insurance and the insurance denied it becuase there was enough tooth for the crown to fit on and I didn't need the core. They are now expecting me to pay for it, they didnt even file the appeal on time. They would not return a phone call when I got an invoice in the mail and the balance changed. I was holding off on paying and now wont pay because they have turned my account over to a collection agency with them saying I wont pay. I am again going to dispute the charge again with the collections agency now that I see way the insurance wont pay. So if you decide to continue with them PLEASE, PLEASE, make sure they bill your insurance company before they preform any procedure they say is covered.

My family went to Preferred Dental Group for over 3 years. Over the 3+ years I had 5 different dentists because they kept leaving . I almost left after the 3rd different dentist (less then a year in) and wish I would have. I was lied to about the severity of an issue which they stated needed to be corrected. I was misled about my level of insurance and when going to their management in hopes that they would be willing to work with me on the issue, they had no problem telling me they planned to and would do nothing.

Trust is very important in regards to someone you work with for your health and Preferred Dental Group proved to be very unworthy of mine.

Please consider all other options before going here.

Had a tooth extraction and root canal today, about as painless as could be. Dr. Hays was very upfront and concerned about my comfort, very satisfied with the level of service across the board.

In the ten years our family has been coming to Preferred Dental, we have always had excellent care and customer service, particularly with dentists Dr. Heys and Regula and various hygienists. But this past year with myself in Invisalign and my daughter in traditional braces , we've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Regula as an orthodontist and his team, Mari and Sue. And Vicki in the office. Words cannot express what a wonderful team this is. They take the time to listen and are exceptional with the skill and care they provide.

Cried for the first time in my life getting extractions. Have been having work done with nitrous since age 9. 1st root canal at 12 yrs of age. Have major anxiety issues, was given a new dentist who would not turn the nitrous (I paid additional $81 out of pocket for to assure it went smoothly) up enough to make me comfortable. He wanted to give up TWICE and send me home in pain rather than make procedure more comfortable. I've NEVER had a worse experience. How do I find Dr Black again? He worked so well with me and helped me thru my anxiety. This "new" guy who was younger than my children, has actually scared me. I'm having major anxiety thinking about future appointment. I need someone with more experience who is more concerned about my comfort than "how difficult" I was making procedure by crying because I was FULLY aware and scared to death. Thank God he continued when I begged, otherwise I would be too scared to ever return. I was very happy with service prior to the change in dentists.

I've been going to Preferred Dental since 2003 and I don't regret it at all. The staff, doctors and hygienists are very nice and professional. This office is quite a ways from my home, but I refuse to go anywhere else.

I described the problem, the Dr. solved it. 15min in and out.
Satisfied.

Today I drove our 9yr and 10 yr old children over 45 minutes to meet Dr. Regula and his team for a consultation. We had heard great things about Preferred and were willing to drive the distance to check things out ourselves. Very happy we did! The staff, from the front office all the way along our walk to the back dental chairs, had genuine smiles and greeted us as if we had been there a million times before! Dr. Regula and his assistants made both kids feel extremely comfortable about getting xrays and impressions and were very informative and patient to answer their questions about their upcoming braces. Kids cannot wait to get their 'cool color braces' soon! Traffic will not always be fun on the 45min drive over the next few years I am sure, but if Dr. Regula and his awesome team can go the extra mile for us... We will for them!

Preferred dental is great. Love Corinne. She made me feel 100 percent comfortable given my fear of dentistry. Would definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

So I didn't actually have any dental work done here, but I live just down the street with my dog Toby. He got loose and I spent an hour looking for him on foot with no luck. I was worried with Hines being so close I wouldn't see him again. Fortunately a nice couple, with the help of one of the hygienists at Preferred Dental, they were able to catch him and get him returned safely to me! Way to be a great neighbor and go above & beyond! I've been a patient at Preferred Dental Group for almost 14 years. The staff is always professional, prompt, friendly, kind and overall easy to deal with. Over the years, I have had the pleasure to have been helped by several of the hygienists and dentists and everyone has been absolutely wonderful. Their front desk staff is always courteous, kind and quick! My current dentist and hygienist are Dr. Heys and Julie. They have found a way of making a potentially uncomfortable experience (dentistry in general) feel like you're hanging out with your old friends. Keep up the good work, guys!

Let's talk about how amazing this dental office is. When I first came here, it was 2 years ago for an emergency route canal. I had such severe pain. They where able to get me in quick and help me. Whenever I need an appointment, the availability is flexible and if something doesn't work out, they add me to a cancellation list (which 9 times out of 10, I get the call saying "Come on in!"). I decided to purchase Invisalign through them as well. Everything was explained upon purchase, and while there was a bit of pressure from the staff to get me to purchase, I completely understood why. My bottom teeth where so crooked I couldn't clean them properly, and it was causing some health concerns. Every appointment I need for Invisalign is painless to make, and the appointment itself takes less than 5 minutes! The staff are super sweet, and I feel like I'm part of the Preferred Dental Group Family. Been recommending this office sense day one, and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. Thank you for being amazing!!

My wife and I have been patients at Preferred Dental Group for several years and we are both very satisfied by the care we have received. The entire staff is very professional and pleasant to deal with. (At least as pleasant as a visit to the dentist can be expected to be...lol)

Dr. Heys and the staff are excellent. How many people can say they enjoy going to the dentist? Preferred Dental makes it so. They are friendly and take the time to explain everything. Further I have found out that my previous dentist was not as good as I assumed. They are working to correct needed issues. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Best group of people. Dr. Regula replaced a poorly installed Bridge performed by another Livonia Dentist and I was presently surprised at the short time and lack of pain and discomfort I experienced. I left the other Livonia Dentist because the bridge he had a non dentist old women put in hurt and bleed for over a year. I knew something was wrong. I waited for another year because I dreaded the thought of being in a chair for hours on end. This did not happen and I have had no pain or bleeding from Dr. Regula's new bridge installation.
I just had work done by Dr. Gondoly and that work ( cap) and fillings was performed with no pain and very short time frame. I am 68 years old and I had many different dentist including in the service and never had the great painless service and good work that Preferred Dental dentists have done on my teeth.

I have not experienced anything but nicest and good work. Every appointment for me has been on time or early. I always am an early person to show up.
I would and have recommended and praised this group of professional, competent and friendly people.

My daughter went into this practice to get a filling put in between her teeth, and they had to remove a bracket from her braces to do the work, once my daughter was done she was standing by me while checking out all of a sudden she passes out hit her head on the wood part of this chair and again the wall out due to over medicating my daughter for the procedure, for one the hygienist first day working at this facility took long as hell on my daughter teeth, she examine my teeth after taking x rays of my whole month, and tell me that I need a deep cleaning, she did not know how to do the measurements of the gum line slow as syrup pouring, mind you I went to my new dentist, and they did not say anything on about a deep cleaning, just cleaned my teeth, so I know for a fact they are just getting money for the x rays and not cleaning people teeth, I would never go to this dentist again, and I am talking to an attorney about my daughter, the lady at the desk takes for ever getting appointment, and the dentist office is slow as hell, and stop giving new customers to people at your facility who don't know what the hell their are doing. Be careful you have been warned. also the person who put my daughter brackets back on was wrong. OMG terrible service if I could give them zero stars I would.

Highly recommend. I've been going here for more than 10 years now. They have great hygienists and Dentists here. I had a bad experience with previous offices (NOT related to Preferred Dental) and have found some really unethical practices exist out there that make your teeth worse so that you have to spend more money. Not at Preferred Dental! They are great and sure they try to sell you cosmetic services but I never feel overly pressured... nor have I ever had issues with my teeth where I was forced into unnecessary dental work. They are gentle with my teeth and my kids (who struggle with doctors visits) have no problem coming here for cleaning. We tried the kids Dentist (again at unrelated offices) and had issues. But not here! Kids had a great experience their last couple cleanings here. I can't recommend this place enough!

I absolutely love the entire team at Preferred Dental! Very professional, excellent service and amazingly friendly staff. They are 5 star in my book. Give them a try truly won't disappoint.

I would give zero stars if I could. The staff there are so rude now. This decline in friendliness has been happening for a while now. My family of five will be finding a new dentist office.

All of the Staff are very friendly and helpful. My entire family has been going to Preferred Dental for about 16 years. From pediatric care to adult care, they are always very caring, explains the proposed treatment plan in detail, and great follow up after procedures. I've never had a bad experience. Drs. Regula and Zimmerman have been our primary dentists and they both are phenomenal!

After suffering with an ongoing issue and struggling with the service at other offices, Preferred Dental of Livonia quickly got me in and treated as a new patient and resolved my issue in hardly no time. Dr. Selasky, his team, hygienist Tasha and the pros behind the desk treated me with professionalism, attention and care as if I we're a lifetime patron. Definitely an industry benchmark in professionalism, efficiently and customer service. When you have a choice in healthcare, do not waste your time and well being, go to these professionals, they are the best and fulfill all expectations of what a healthcare experience should be. Awesome staff, great service. I called them because I was in severe pain, got me in immediately, took care of it..... couldn't be happier.... oh, they were not my dentist, still took care of me as if I had been going there for years. They are now my new dentist.

Poor to Fair gives them much more credit than they deserve. They are an unethical crowd of incompetent people. They are a money-making factory that has the best interest of the patients significantly below their own self interests. You will be told of all the "necessary" work that need to be done and if you actually have the work done here it will be at a sub-standard level that will require repair at a competent dentist's office. Appointment times mean very little and the office staff is among the worst and rudest you will find anywhere. If you are a patient here, leave as soon as you can before you are subject to physical, emotional and monetary pain.

Dr. SELASKY was outstanding extremely professional. The entire team from front desk to Assistants hit a home run. I'd recommend Preferred Dental to anyone.

Preferred Dental is a quality, professional dental office. A Dental office that showed friendliness, thoroughness and honesty; along with superb safety for the client; due to COVID-19.

Kristina and Dr. Saigal did a great job with my 4yo son, who was in the office for his first appt and scared and inconsolable. They were patient and waited until I could calm him down and gave him such a good experience with his first cleaning that he wanted to give them both high fives when we were done. Thanks again!

Great customer service, cleanings, dental work and orthodontics!

Wouldn't let these guys work on my dog's teeth after what they did to mine. Before coming here for fillings, my teeth didn't hurt, now I have pain in several teeth. I question whether the work written up here is honest or not. I feel they just write up unnecessary work to make money. They have now changed their numbers on me after paying my bill at the end of each appointment twice and have sent me a 256 dollar bill 2 months after the last work performed. A week ago today, I called and left them a message pertaining to the new 256 dollar charge asking them to call me back and resolve the matter which they chose to ignore instead. I have had work done twice here, had a jagged edge left on a filling by the first dentist that cut my tongue up and the second dentist said I needed a different tooth drilled rather than one the previous dentist wrote up as if they aren't sure which ones need work. I absolutely could never refer this dental office to anyone after the incredibly unprofessional experience here.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Preferred Dental Group. My appointments have always started on time and the staff is super friendly!

DO NOT I SAY AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL OFFICE. I was going here for years I WAS NOT provided information that this Dentist is no longer in the Blue Care network I was charged for out of network. This has happened on two prior occasions when money wasn't being sent directly to the dentist office. It was explained to me on prior occasions bill was sent to insurance incorrectly and to disregard checks sent to me directly. The two prior occasions bill was fixed no further explanation. Finally 3rd time around someone at Blue Care Network informed me the provider was no longer in network and that check could no longer be sent directly to dentist. Mind you I had a dental cleaning and xrays received $340.00 dollar bill with note your insurance has paid all they authorised. So checks sent to me prior were payment 233.00. and I was shredding them do to what I was informed on two prior occasions. Now Blue Care Network reissued check for $233.00 and I'm responsible for the rest of bill. Blue Care Dental Network and this dentist office are both being replaced. Save yourself the troubles and go elsewhere you will be happy for the peace of mind. I'm still amazed it took three separate visits with no one explaining my insurance wasn't paying directly because dentist wasn't in network. No one at the dentist informed me of this and when I asked their billing department was told someone should of informed me prior to getting work done. So after all the calls trying to figure out what was going on Blue Care Network informed me of the problem. Troubling ethics beware.

I have only the utmost respect for your dental assistants and like the way they do their job. The dentist I had at first was a little too aggressive but I
liked him. One thing he told me is that all my previous dentists did not do their jobs right. They did get me through more than eighty years of dental work being able to have my teeth for this long and not be in the poor house.

I have good feelings about the practice with one reservation. It looks as if you think all your patients are as rich as the pro athletes you promote in your offices because your prices are so high that only those people can afford you without having to give up other things to afford dental care. It takes my breath away every time I come in for dental work.

I am on the verge of looking elsewhere for that reason and only that reason. I really hate to do that.
