Always enjoy my visit to Prairie Gardens. So many beautiful things to see and the associate's are ready to help.

Always something great at Prairie Gardens for indoor and outdoor decor

It's a good place, but it didn't have what my wife was looking for. We did buy 1 potted flower and some yard stuff. Have to look elsewhere.

Love this store and coming here for inspiration! Always decorated so beautifully. I can always find something that I have to bring home.

What better way to usher in holiday spirit than walking through all of the beautiful decorations.

Fine for a general gardening store, but a bit pricey. Hard to find someone in the greenhouse to answer technical questions.

The prices seem high in some areas, but they have a huge selection of the plants out in the open air and green houses. They have some vegetables, but they were missing a lot (we may have missed that season).

They have cute festivals in the fall and spring which are fun for the kids. The Fall festival includes a maze, petting area, face painting, golf, horse riding, balloons and pumpkin painting. Overall it's a great store and a good place to get your spring flowers/garden plants and fall mum's. Lots of items for decoration and pots.

I brought a 69 year old family heirloom mirror here to be framed. Unfortunately they took the back off of it and damaged the mirror. There are now scratches that were not in the mirror originally. The manager offered me a 20% discount on the framing. I had to point out the damages cannot be repaired and the mirror cannot be replaced. She finally decided she could give me 30% of the framing cost. No sense of accountability for their damage. Back to the big box stores for framing. I thought the piece would be safer here. I was wrong

I was disappointed. Visited a year or so ago then had much more to offer. That was before Christmas today was after, probably the reason.

I think the number of stars depends on what you are there for. It's a well laid out shop that is mostly home decor and trinkets. We went for plants. The greenhouse is well organized, the plants are healthy. The selection is typical, the prices significantly higher that the other locally owned nursery, very significantly. I decided to check out their selection after being at the other nursery earlier this week and was in shock when I saw the prices, I'd never seen coneflower plants that cost that much, the prices were always over the very highest I assumed they would be when I checked the tag. They were very nice quality and quite healthy, but double to triple the price of the nice quality plants I'd gotten at the other nursery for the exact same varieties. I'll be sticking to the other locally owned nursery in the future.

I must say that I'm not very happy right now. I buy a TON at Prairie Gardens and spend a fortune....I bought amber lights over the weekend and when I took them out of the box they did NOT work. they flickered a couple of times, but did not work...i immediately took them back(receipt in hand)and after about 10 minutes and 3 different people I was ask if store credit was OK.....I said yes, but later thought....OMG I would have more than spent that refund. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I did not buy anything....and may not again....You never know who you are treating poorly. My family and I are in this store on the average of once a week...

Not ready for Christmas.... but when I am this is the place! I went looking for house plant pots and they still have a great selection.

Alway a fantastic experience shopping here. I often just go to unwind after work and just walk around in the greenhouse and tree lot. But then I always manage to find something I can't live without. : )

Everyone working there was so kind and patient! There's a lady there who takes care of the plants in the house plant room. She answered questions I had about my peace lily and probably saved its life, haha. She also helped me pick out the right plants for a specific area of my home that I had an idea for and helped me figure out how I should display the plants there to make sure they stayed healthy. She was so helpful and I owe a lot to her! Other people working there also helped me figure out some more style-based problems with my little project. I really appreciate the nice, patient people working here and the excellent selection of plants, pots, and home decor!

Very nice garden center with a wide variety of plants and gifts.

Great store; a little pricey but still one of my faves.

NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM. We purchased a porch swing from them. They told us it would be delivered in one week. We called them 1.5 weeks after the purchase. Turns out...the delivery date got delayed to 4-6 weeks. They never bothered to get in touch to let us know. Repeated poor / no communication from them. We are STILL WAITING FOR OUR PORCH SWING. NEVER BUY FURTNITURE FROM THEM. You'll regret it. Plants are fine.

Edit: plants are very good so I raised the number of stars. Just stay away from furniture.

I was totally mesmerized, I went in looking for house plants, found the softest leggings I have ever felt, found pillows, plan to return on Tuesday when everything is 10% off!!!

Disappointed in service they need to be able to answer simple questions about their products. Want to make my own terrarium not buy already made I have my own container just need to know about the soil that's needed. I'm just going to go with internet knowledge.

Always spend a large part of my paycheck there without any regrets!

Great place. So many bargains on real plants. When you walk in you cant help but want to run Around and see everything! Do it then go slowly around an see everything . You have to return at least every season!
