These guys are genius, very responsive and helpful. It s worth spending money here. Their warranty make me feel more confident whenever I work with them.

They sent me a wore out LCD panel with an exhausted CCFL backlight for a 2008 iMac, this wouldn't be so bad, but replacing the screen in this model is a royal pain and the original screen had the same issue. I would have expected they test used items before they send them out, but apparently they don't. Now they want me to disassemble the iMac yet again to send them the exhausted panel back just to get a refund. All I want is for the screen in this crappy iMac to work properly. The screen also didn't come with any temperature sensor, which is normally glued to the screen, so they had to physically remove it before sending it to me in an attempt to make more cash off selling the sensor separately. Either way, I pretty much paid 90 dollars to dispose of their e-waste.

I ordered a logic board for my mac. The item came quickly and in good shape. It was packaged in an antistatic bag inside a box. I have yet to get it put in but expect it to work flawlessly.

I paid over $400 to have my logic board repaired. I sent in my computer and got it back within a week. It didn t work. I called and sent it back and got the runaround for the next four weeks. After a while they wouldn t respond to my emails or calls. When they did, they would tell me it was next on the tech s desk to be repaired (was told this same thing several times over several weeks) Finally after a month they sent it back and it worked for a while. After a few months it had a few glitches but was still functional. Since I only use it sparingly, I ve dealt with it instead of sending it back. Six months and two weeks after I received it back, it wouldn t work at all. I emailed them and they told me that my six month warranty was up and offered no help or solutions. I strongly recommend you do not use this company. I m going to have to spend hundreds of dollars a second time because my computer wasnt fixed right the first. Its not right or ethical.

Ordered a replacement Kindle Touch screen. Wizard walked me through to make sure I got the right part for my model. Ordered and it was here two days later. Video on their site showed me everything I needed to take it apart. Installed and worked like a charm. Hopefully will never need their services again, but would turn to them without pause.

The item arrived earlier than expected and worked right out of the box.

Basically saved my life these people I totally recommend them honestly. They are quite reasonable price wise and are very professional. For what they did cost wise was so reasonable. Use this place you will not be disappointed.

Order arrived reasonably quickly. Replacement feet are a little too large and don't stick very well, but they're better than what I had before. $3.75 shipping on a $7.75 order seems excessive.

Purchased a used Mid 2012 Macbook Pro Logic board from Powerbook Medic to replaced a 2011 Logic board where the GPU failed and laptop would only display white screen at bootup. The used 2012 logic board arrived in great packaging and in good looking condition and so far it is working great. Hopefully this will extend my 2011 laptop for several more years.

DO NOT SEND YOUR COMPUTER THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sent mine here to get the screen replaced, but they caused more problems during the repair. They were going to charge me to fix what they had messed up!!! And they didn't even know how to fix it, so I had to buy a whole new computer. Spend the extra money and take it to the Apple store.

The logic board that I purchased from Powerbook Medic worked perfectly. I had it installed for a fraction of the cost of the Apple supported local dealer and the device itself was at a discounted price. Delivery was faster than expected. The only problem was that I could not order the device on my credit card and have it delivered elsewhere in my absence. So purchase/delivery was needlessly complicated.

Horrible experience dealing with these people. Im obligated to shoot some photos for 2 events next week and one of my USB ports went out. soo I tried to get a new one from them. Tittle clearly said "Replacement USB port for Phantom 3" Looked at the rest of the page and hardly any detail was given; everything seemed to check out. But, they shipped me a micro usb port and I'm out of luck. THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE FUZZY BLOWN UP PICTURE TO DETERMINE IT WAS MICRO INSTEAD OF THEM SIMPLY PUTTING IN THE DESCRIPTION OR TITTLE!! VERY FURIOUS

This is the second time ordering from Powerbook Medic and both times have been very good experiences. I was able to find what I needed on their website at a reasonable price, and shipping to Canada was quick.

These guys are dealing with outside reps who give them mediocre quality parts with the original part numbers on them.

I have been going back and forth with Powerbookmedic for the last 30 days in an effort to get the right screen on my Macbook Pro 17in. They advertised the screen with the original part number on it and described it as a "matte finish," which is what I needed as a Photographer to eliminate glare.

The part shipped out and I paid a technician to replace it. After the repair was done, we both realized that Powerbookmedic sent a glossy screen. This is a huge deal to me because of using my computer to edit photos.

The company sent me another screen that was a knock off matte screen and very low quality. When I spoke with the customer service manager, he insisted that they sent the proper screen. I, on the other hand, insisted that he check with his Samsung representative to be sure. After another 1/2 hour phone call, he agreed to call me back to confirm.

The same week, a voicemail was left for me saying that their Samsung Representative was having similar issues with the same part number/screen, other customers were not satisfied with it. I sent the screen back and waited for the proper one to arrive. When it did, my tech refused to do the work because of how difficult it was to do the repair in the first place. This leaves me with the wrong screen and a bad taste in my mouth for the situation was dealt with.

I called one last time today after I was charged to print off a return label at the UPS Store, where I was starting to become a regular. I felt like this was the last straw. On this call, I asked for the Customer Service Manager and was given the Operations Manager after a 10 minute hold. I asked him how he could make the situation right. He replied that they had done what they could and the rest was my fault.

I understand that mistakes happen. However, there wasn't a solution offered other than "trying" to get it right over and over. 30 days ago, I should have received the correct screen from this company as advertised. Further, that screen should be on my computer instead of the one I'm looking at right now. A technician should be able to trust in their research of part descriptions and numbers. When the film was removed from the screen, we realized that this company is misrepresenting third party screens because of the low supply and the high demand for them. Simply sending the appropriate screen the 3rd time doesn't solve the situation.

Use these guys as a last resort and don't expect anything different. I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau until this matter is resolved.

I got a good deal on a used trackpad for my MacBook Pro, and used Powerbook Medic's helpful video to guide the replacement process. Delivery was quick, but I had time to look at several videos before the part arrived, in an effort to prepare for the procedure. Powerbook Medic's video was by far the best.

Powerbook Medic and Alex were great! I thought I was going to have to simply throw away my old MacBook Pro when the screen went out on it. Then I did some web searches and found Powerbook Medic which described my problem and gave me hope it could be fixed. These old MacBooks are power houses and still have the DVD drive for older problems, so I really wanted to keep it (besides the fact that a new one was over $1000). I was very pleased with the service and price of $350. Alex let me know the price with a quote and before he did the work (it was just as he estimated), was quick to respond when I had a question, and returned it in great condition. I did have the problem pop back up when I got it back, so they paid for it to be sent back, repaired it completely under warranty, and sent it back to me. My MacBook looks and runs like new! Great job and great company! I was very glad to find them. Keep up the good work.

Paid for a repair, machine was returned to me less functional than when I shipped it, with visible damage on case. when I contacted the company abou teh issue I was told that the repair had been done and was quoted the same amount to have the exact same "repair" done again. Joke customer service, zero delivery or follow through. Paid $300 to have my time wasted and my laptop damaged. Great job guys. Worthless!

I bought a refurbished phone from them but when I tried to activate the phone it was considered lost or stolen! I definitely don't recommend anyone to use this site or purchase anything from it.

Very bad experience and a complete waste of time as i didn't receive my item (it went back to them due to some mishap from the courier), asked for a refund and they refused to give it, they only proposed to re-send the package by paying again the shipping expenses (really expensive internationally) by myself which is really unfair since not receiving it was not my fault.

Unlike many of the individuals who have written reviews about Powerbook Medic, I had a horrible experience with them. I was given a defective product. When I sent it back, I was told that it wasn t defective. However, I had many professionals test it, and they said it was definitely a defective part. When I received a refund, I was charged a 15% restocking fee, because it wasn t defective. I m glad I will not have to deal with them anymore, because they have been nothing but inconvenient and difficult to work with. If anyone decides to buy a product from Powerbook Medic, I hope you don t have a similar experience.

Bought and logic board that was supposedly checked and tested...after being installed on my MacBook Pro I had to take it to a certified technician because the battery was not being recognized, the tech said that the logicboard was actually damaged..I wrote an email to them and no solution was offerered...NEVER AGAIN

Customer service is very polite and nice, but wasted time and money on shipping both ways, because was not provided with information before shipped my mac for repair. Make sure that all password REMOVED, if you can't turn on your mac to remove password, do not ship for repair.

The hinges I ordered worked perfect. Was able to repair my 13 MacBook. Only thing was when I purchased the part. I thought it was just 1 item. And when I received it it was a package of 2. Not sure if it indicated it on the website.

Item was exactly as expected. However the hard drive was not direct plug in play and ready to install OS for Mac. It was formatted in NTFS so had to take to the apply store to have them format the drive for me before it would take. But other than that little bump! Works great. Price was awesome too for product. I ordered a replacement left fan for my 10 year old 15" MacBook Pro. It arrived within a week despite being shipped from the US to the UK, was very securely packaged, and is now working fine after my husband very kindly fitted it for me, following the step by step guide on iFixit.com. 10 out of 10, would definitely purchase from Powerbook Medic again, thank you very much!

Left my macbook too close to my humidifier and damaged the logic board. Took it to the mac store and they told me they could fix it for $800. I just went ahead and bought a cheap PC for $120 to hold me over for school. A few months later, I thought I'd look to see if there was any way I could get my mac repaired. Powerbook Medic gave me a free diagnostic and quoted it for $400. They fixed it in a week and billed me $340. Laptop works a s good as new! They even cleaned it. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased tablet from them through eBay. The unit they sent had a bubble underneath the screen that was not disclosed to me or shown in photographs prior to purchase. I brought the issue to their attention and requested a partial reimbursement for the defect they failed to mention, and in turn would not leave negative feedback or take the issue to ebay. They contacted me saying they could arrange a return for refund however did not offer to pay return shipping fof their mistake. I once again offered the partial reimbursement option and expressed that I did not want to be required to pay return shipping on a defective item. They never responded.
