My experience at Gateway Hyundai Fargo has been excellent in every way. I have purchased two new Hyundai Sonatas from Gateway and have had both of these vehicles serviced there. The staff is professional in every way and I fully intend to purchase my next Hyundai Sonata there.

On the 3/29/2021 i brought my vehicle again to this dealership for an oil change, front license plate bracket installation and a hood strut installation. I brought my front license plate bracket and I brought 2 hood strut for them to change the old ones and install the new ones instead the installed just one and kept the other. My vehicle was very clean when I gave it to them and I received it very dirty. The headliner was covered with their greasy hands, The claimed to wash the vehicle which I didn't authorize. My car was super clean when I brought it to them and I got it back all dirty, mud all over the tires and underneath they literally drove my vehicle on mud, they changed my radio station why, they adjusted my seat all the way to the front and did not adjust it back how they found it. I hate this place. I never go in and come out happy why? A dealership as big as this with unprofessional service technicians. Last time the scratched my wheels now something else. I wish I can give 0 stars. An independent workshop is way better than going to this dealership. This will be my last time going to get my vehicle serviced at Gateway Hyundai Fargo. They don't know how to take good care of a customer. Just stay away from this dealership.

My husband and I were looking for a SUV/crossover - we had checked out a few cars, but were waiting for the right one within our budget. We worked with James - he was incredibly patient and personable through the entire process. I think Jeff was the finance manager? he was awesome and answered all of our questions.
While we spent the afternoon waiting for everything to process - all staff were professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a great experience overall.

Horrible place to go for car repair and services. The sales department was bad too when I bought my car 3 years ago. The service department is one of the worst in town. The last two times(5/3/2019 and few months before) I was there were disaster. When I went there to pick up my car after they told me it was ready, there were parts from my car laying around in the car that they forgot to put them back. I told the service manager about the situation, he was more dismissive than apologetic. The last time I went there, they messed up my car's head light and turn-signals(how complicated is this?) I didn't even realize until a cop pulled me over that night and gave me a ticket. I went back the next morning to Gateway and there was the same sales manager, very dismissive and rude.

About a year or so ago, I went there for brake pads replacement. They told me it was done after long wait and I picked the car. They next day I had to bring the car back because they screw up the car. At least, back then they rent me a car for free for a week until they fix my car.

My point is, stay away from Gateway and take your business somewhere where they would appreciate your business and actually do their job. Gateway is a terrible car dealer.

I dislike shopping for anything, especially cars. I receive Motor Trend and they had an article on the Genesis. I knew immediately that was where I was moving towards. Everyone is driving an SUV, but I have never likes/enjoyed/relaxed with the ride in an SUV and I have ridden in a Lexus 450 Hybrid. The ride is too stiff and I feel every bump in the road. With my new Genesis.....problem solved. Niklaus-sales manager....Tim B.-salesman and Jeff- financing made the whole process "anxiety free." Extremely pleased with the attention and follow-up as I continue to get acquainted with my baby. It is a no-contest that I would recommend them for your future major purchases. Give me them some serious attention. R N

Do not buy from this dealership! I m very disappointed in the company, it s workers and how they treat you after you buy from them. I wasted $3,000 on a used truck that broke down six weeks after I purchased it. I wrote them to see if we could resolve the issue and no one contacted me back. I had to take them to court and their attorney wrote a counter claim stating I purchased the vehicle As Is and they did not owe me anything!! This is a horrible way to do business and I hope that they don t keep getting away with these unethical business practices.

I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Gateway Hyundai for all your service needs!!! Edgar was so pleasant to work with getting me checked in assured all my vehicles needs were addressed by the expert technicians. I really feel valued as a customer!!

I've never been treated so dismissively from a service provider. I had over $750 of maintenance work to be performed that they, without telling me, chose not to perform simply because I was taking too much of their time. When I went to pick up the keys to my car none of the items they identified and suggested I fix were completed.

I took the car to St Cloud Hyundai a few days later and had a very good service experience. Never again will I visit Gateway.

The coolant reservoir and windshield reservoir were empty and when we took it in to be serviced at our local Hyundai dealer the air filter an cabin filter were filthy. I was having an issue with my drivers door exterior touch lock.... many times would not lock. Unlocking never an issue. Door handle was replaced.... however, problem still exists. Seems like cold weather enhances the problem.

Today I had an appointment for a part to be attached to the roof of my vehicle. Now mind you the piece had to be ordered, I received several text during the past couple of days reminding me about the upcoming appointment. I get there about 40 minutes Early. I m sitting in the waiting area & a nice friendly text comes across that if I need anything or want to pay my bill on line I can respond to this text. About 20 minutes later my name is called. The young man says your part was ordered by nathen. Your vehicle is being brought up front. No explanation as to where the part is or when it will be coming NOTHING **#*#. Not even a car wash at least!!!!!! I feel like I was just USED & thrown aside..... Fine if that is how its going to be then so be it!!!! Guess a different dealer ship wants my business . FUMING
