We love the zoo for kids of all ages. If you re looking for a half-day activity, you ll enjoy getting up close with the animals. Nice days can bring out crowds so a membership to get in is recommended. Would love a couple of different food options.

I went in the winter. It was a "special" event, but even though they were expecting a crowd they didn't clear the parking lot or the sidewalks.
There were people desperately searching for parking and once they did they then had to try and protect their children from the other desperate drivers.

The indoor areas weren't open, so people couldn't warm up at all.

The chicken tenders were breaded and cooked as if they were fish, but the curly fries were pretty good.

This is a great zoo. Not huge, but still really enjoyable. I thought it was a bit overpriced for what was inside, but it was a great experience. We got to meet Copper the Servel and that was amazing.

Awesome zoo. We had a blast here. Lots of animals and plan on doing a lot of walking. I was really surprised this place was as big as it was and had lots of animals who appeared pretty happy. The food courts were not open so cannot rate the quality.

We love this zoo. My family bought a membership package back in May and it has already paid for itself. We have two small children who love riding in their wagon and seeing the animals. Membership comes with discounts at the Congo cafe as well as the gift shop.

Came here for my grandson's 1st birthday and what a hidden jewel. Normally, zoos make me feel sad for the animals but this one seemed to have the animals habitat in mind in the design. Though I did feel bad for the Lions, as their area seemed more confined and I noticed visitors continually trying to provoke them to wake up,etc. For the money, this was a nice experience and I will be back.

This is a great regional zoo. It doesn't have the wide variety of animals that would be found in a large city like Chicago, but it has a nice assortment of animals to satisfy children. Because of the coronavirus some outdoor and indoor exhibits were not open to the public. This, however, did not detract from the experience. It was a beautiful day!

The zoo is easy to get to with reasonable admission fees....very affordable for families. Parking is free. The zoo is just the right size for families and the grounds are beautiful. There is a nice sized park outside of the zoo with picnic tables and a playground.

Don't miss this zoo. It is near Notre Dame.

A little construction to deal with but this Zoo is getting better every year. My family has purchased a membership for the past 2 years & add this year also! Great place for kid's to learn, discover, create, & just plain have fun!

I cant believe how wonderful this zoo is! I didnt visit often as a child, but now I do with my nephew and it is so great. Love the petting zoo and all the other animals. My nephew likes the train, but wow that thing is impossible to get in and out of.

It's a very fun place to go , the animals seem well cared for, although it would be nice to see bigger enclosures. It is relatively empty during the weekdays so it is a good time to come while its calm. There is a large variety of animals which is very fun and interesting. Although, many enclosures seem to be in disarray, like the inside of the crocodile enclosure.

Theres a bunch construction going so only like half the place was open and even half those animals weren't out they should of accommodated pricing for not having it all open just not worth it right now maybe after construction plus they were sp congested with traffic today we had to park across street

We took the whole family and had a great time. Other then a few animals not being out we saw some great things. The food was fairly priced and they had a good variety. The cost was $10 a person and it all goes back to the zoo.

It's a good zoo but typically for smaller kids. My kids are older, but we still enjoy viewing the animals there. Typically people spend about an hour here. There are 2 nice playgrounds and a splash pad there near it and a pool.

We love our Zoo. Every year we buy a season pass. And if you have young children I recommend you do the same. It is a clean Zoo and it seems like they are always trying to make it just a little bit better, which I really appreciate. My family loves to look at the lions and the red panda.

Great Zoo, not badly priced and fair rules for the carousel as well. The animals seem well kept and the facility is clean and beautiful. Our kids loved it and there were plenty of spots to get a look at everything. I'd recommend it

It was smaller than I thought it would be. It was hot when my friend and I went. Maybe some fans around the park would be a good investment but there is plenty of shade too. I liked seeing all of the animals, just hoped for a few more. Rhinos are coming soon but maybe lionesses or hyenas would be great. It was fun. It is more geared for the younger audience.
