My girlfriend had her baby shower there over the weekend, so this review is only based on our experience with that event - we have never eaten there. The ambiance is really nice and the staff was really helpful and accommodating. It wasn't completely clear who was the main person to speak with the day of the event about things that we needed. The food was pretty good for the most part, but the salmon lacked flavor and the vegetables and potatoes were undercooked. Overall, we were very happy with their service but a couple of things could have been better. Would like to come back soon for a regular dining visit.
As always the very best. Food is the best and service is great. Having a party, go Poston 22.
I have been a customer for many years. However, I had not ordered for pick up for a while (few months). Today, I ordered food for pickup and I was never told that I would have to pay a surcharge if I paid with Visa, which I have been doing for years at Posto!. My point is that I should have been notified on the phone that there would be a surcharge. I could have then decided whether I was willing to pay it or decide to cancel the order. While I understand that COVID-19 has compromised many business, and they are trying to recoup their losses, they must be transparent about what they do. While the amount of money is extremely small, the way it was done is not acceptable. They have lost a loyal customer for a meaningless amount of money!!!! It is the principle that is important!
Had an engagement party at Posto 22 and from start to finish the experience was amazing. Everyone was a pleasure to work with (Joe, Nick, David thank you!). David went above and beyond and helped me & my mom with the planning. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was incredible , and the sangria was a huge hit. On top of everything, our wait staff was incredibly nice to our guests. The day was so special and I can t thank everyone at Posto enough. If you re searching for somewhere to host a dinner/ lunch/bridal shower/bday party/etc. look no further!
They have amazing food, the prices are so affordable and the service is phenomenal. If you have a bucket list put this place on it. Its delicious all day every day!!!!
Wanted a nice meal for my family on our way from the Bronx Zoo headed back east. Quiet Sunday night. Really good Italian food and great service. Good ambience, cozy and nicely lit (i.e. not dark).
Easy parking in a garage across the street.
Stop in for local eats. The lobster ravioli was very flavorful and fresh made to order pasta prepared just right. Our host and management were very attentive throughout making for a pleasant dining experience with the family. And then there was desert. I eat with my eyes so take a look and you decide.
We just had dinner here. It was great. The server we had was very attentive and kind. All around we enjoyed the place.
I hate to write bad reviews, but when there are extreme health hazards, I have to speak up.
My husband FOUND A PIECE OF METAL in his chicken parmesan this week. He went back to Posto to be interrogated by Nick on what my husband thought it was. The manager Nick, showed 0 interest in addressing the physical damage inherent in swallowing metal in your food.
Nick, do not answer below. We have had enough of you. Please ask John to call us as you promised you would. Swallowing metal is not something to be taken lightly, and you showed zero interest in helping us on Thursday when we returned. We did not want a refund. It was more important to know the source of the sharp metal found in the food, and you made it very clear you had no idea and even tried to shift the blame to us. Nick, you threw the refund in our face as if we needed the cost of dinner more than we cared about our health. Know that physical health is more important than money.
You care only about money, if $65 was the best you could offer when a customer nearly swallows a shard of metal from your kitchen. Going into the kitchen to look around would have been more appropriate than your money. Showing care and concern would have been an appropriate response.
We would like to speak with a real manager, please.
