I recently purchased a pre-owned 2009 Nissan Murano from Porter Nissan. The sales person Rhen Keen was a pleasure to work with. One of my least favorite things to do is car shop and feel the pressure of buying a car that I want and can afford. Rhen made this an easy and pleasant experience. I would highly recommend friends and family traveling over to Delaware to Porter Nissan if you are car shopping.

In addition to the work that was needed on my vehicle, there was a wire hanging from my bumper which you guys fixed without charge or even mentioned it to me! It's those little things, the attention to detail, that gives me confidence that the staff there goes above and beyond and is what keeps me a Porter customer.

I visited the service center to carry out an oil c...

I visited the service center to carry out an oil change and inform them of issues with the Ambient sensor (the outside temp was reading -22f).

The attendant then told me that they d have to charge me $120 to diagnose such an obvious issue, especially, as I had informed him that the AC didn t work because the car believed the outside temperature is already cold. He also informed me that the diagnosis fee would be waived if the issue is covered under my bumper to bumper warranty.

Also, the deductible on my warranty is $100.

They told me that to diagnose this issue will take 2hr plus 1.5hr for oil change. I got there at 10am and left at 2:50pm.

When the service paper was given to me, it stated what I had told the attendant concerning the ambient sensor and they now claimed that they ran diagnostics only on a problem that they already knew about and nothing else for $120. I further queried the attendant on the real cost to replace the ambient sensor. He said $107. This made me even more suspicious of these guys.
I later called in to the garage to demand a receipt and proof that they actually changed the ambient sensor. They left me on hold for about 10mins and then said that the attendant will call me back. I have not heard from anybody so far.

I am totally disappointed with Nissan s shady ways and have no confidence in their service. I also will be canceling my warranty with the company. At this stage, I d rather take my chances with a more trust worthy third party mechanic.

The first thing our salesman, Randy, said to us when we walked in was, "I didn't actually expect you to show". I should have ran then. Although I got a great deal on my SUV through USAA special offers for military, the service following the purchase was terrible. They promised they would get me a second key-fob and after several phones calls daily, they told me 2 weeks later that they were unable to locate the second one. They then told me to come in and they would program a new one for me-knowning that I live 2+ hours away. When I reminded that that this would be a great inconvenience, they said I could go to my local dealership and have them call for a purchase order number to program me a new one. After 2 hours waiting at the dealership, my local dealership was unable to get in touch with anyone at porter, and thus was unable to give me a new key-fob, but they would follow up and get back to me. A year and a half since my car purchase, and still no second key-fob.....and the first one only works fifty percent of the time to lock/unlock/alarm. Will NEVER go back there.

Waste of time. They don't even make an effort to sell you the car. The Internet sales manager Alycia didn't even bother to come out and talk to us about the car. Terrible sales experience I would give a zero if I could. We were in and out in less than minutes (that explains how they care about selling cars)

Porter Nissan Service done work to my 2014 Nissan Sentra on 6/26/2019. Before I came in I called two days before and talked to Michael Ferguson about my vehicle is due for 90,000 mile service. I explain to Michael Ferguson that a lot of work has to be done and I can't wait for my car,Michael Ferguson told me no problem. When I Showed up on 6/26/2019 Michael Ferguson had a car rental waiting for me.I'm surprise how quick it was to drop off my car and into a rental car that quick.I have to give Michael Ferguson FIVE STARS for customer service.Also thanks to TJ who helped me for getting me into the rental car quick, thanks to Tech John Larouche for doing a great service job on my car.Michael Ferguson always takes care of me,always a pleasure to see Michael Ferguson when i walk-in for service. When I began searching for my next vehicle I had a very specific car in mind, one that I wasn't able to find near my home or in the state of PA. I've never purchased a car out of state and was a little hesitant at first, until I spoke with Miles Gawel from Porter Pre-Owned in Newark, DE. From the first conversation he was very attentive and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a meeting for the following Saturday and I enlisted a friend and traveled the 1 1/2 hours to the Dealership. Miles greeted us upon driving on the lot, had the car in the showroom ready for the test drive. After a quick drive I was satisfied that this was the car for me. Miles assured me that the delivery process would be quick and easy and it was, Eric Gawel, the Finance Manager was as friendly and personable as anyone could ask. He explained everything, called my local dealership to confirm they would honor the extended warranty I purchased, got me a great rate and sent us on our way. This was definitely the best car buying experience I've ever had, and that is saying a lot.

I have always had a great experience with Porter Nissan. I just recently purchased my 3rd Nissan from Porter Nissan and couldn't be happier. Got a great deal on my 2013 Pathfinder and trade in. Just got my first of 3 free oil changes. I have always had an excellent experience with the service staff. Lyle Price is an exceptional Professional Service Advisor. He always suggests the best course of action from routine maintenance up to more serious mechanical issues. He was excellent in making sure I got the best out of vehicle warranty. My experience with him partially contributed to me buying my 3rd Nissan from Porter. Keep up the great work!.

My wife and I recently drove from Lancaster, Pa to purchase a vehicle from Porter Nissan. This was our first experience with this dealership. The sales staff was an absolute pleasure to work with. Rhen Keen the internet salesman, Mike the sales manager, and Jeremy from finance, treated us extremely well during the entire transaction (before, during, and after). They have a no pressure, no bull approach to car sales. I will definitely recommend this dealership to friend and family.

I cant begin to express how happy I am that I purchased my car from Rhen Keen at Porter Nissan! I have purchased 8 cars in my lifetime, this experience was hands down the most thorough & speedy transaction ever. Rhen was truly personable and extremely professional. I never felt pressured or deceived like I did with the past purchases. The whole staff was courteous, kind, and professional. I highly recommend choosing this dealership and salesman for your next car purchase. The whole buying experience was exceptional and by far the easiest of my life. My family and I have purchased several vehicles from Porter Nissan over the past decade and have been very satisfied with there performance and reliability. We have also been very satisfied with the service department especially the service advisors who are very customer focused. One advisor in particular Dave Ferguson who is now the Service Manager provides exceptional customer service. Dave understands that satisfied customers are good for his service department business and for Porter Nissans' new and use car businesses in general.

Talked to Rhen, who is an excellent salesman and he had us processed and out the door with the vehicle we wanted. There was absolutely no hassle or run around. Relayed what had been already done on the TPMS. Porter did the same repair that Goodyear did (replace one of the tire sensors that appeared to have a low battery). Within 24 hours the warning light was back on despite the tires all having 35 psig.

This is the first time I had my new Nissan Rogue serviced. I was so impressed by how clean the bays were! Customer service was uber friendly & top notch. They weren't kidding about 30 minute express oil changes even though they apologized & said since it was a busy day that it might take longer. I was out in around 25 minutes :)! The waiting room was huge with lots of seating & very clean.

Sales department was great. Service department not so much.

Was told by sales that the first two services would be free, but for both occasions I had to talk services out of the $250 charge.

I also told them that the driver's seat slowly sinks, so I have to pump it up every day or so. They said they couldn't replicate the issue so didn't fix it. It's less than a year old and this should have been repaired under warranty. Very disappointed and won't be coming back . Next car will be a low maintenance Tesla .

Winter storm Avery really took a lot of cars by surprise today, but after seeing the amount of cars on the side (or in the middle) of the road today that couldn t drive through slushy snow or drive up/down slippery snow covered hills, I was BEYOND thankful I didn t feel 1 slip with my Nissan Rogue Sport AWD. It was unbelievable and I am beyond thankful especially to Nissan Porter for my Rogue Sport! Not only did I get home safely, I got home confidently!

As a Nissan lover, I must admit that this place is worth visiting! Their cars are low-priced, but very reliable and I think it's more than important while choosing a car. I enjoyed driving my Nissan bought at Porter Nissan during the whole year. I plan to sell it at Repokar auto auction and come back here for purchasing a newer Nissan.

I just got back from the Porter Nissan dealer in Newark DE and I couldn't be more satisfied with the staff and particularly Rhen Keen, Salesperson. Its not very often that a "no haggle" pricing situation actually results in a fantastic deal for the customer but that is exactly what happened. More than fair on the trade in ( exactly what I wanted without a fight) and excellent service throughout the entire process. I highly recommend the Porter family of dealerships ( this is my second purchase from them) and especially Salesperson Rhen Keen.

My experience with Porter Nissan was awesome. My salesman Eric Gawel was exceptional and made my drive from Maryland to Delaware well worth it. He was honest with me and always made sure he was giving me factual answers. He was friendly and professional and was never pushy nor overbearing. He has kept in touch with me over the past few months, checking in to see how I've been enjoying my new car. My Nissan Maxima is exactly what I was in search of. Although I could have purchased the vehicle from multiple dealerships within Maryland, I am very happy that I chose to make the trip to Porter Nissan. By far my best purchasing experience ever. Everyone I met during my visit was friendly. When I left the lot my car was spotless, and fully fueled. All my wireless devices were programmed and features of the car were fully explained. The price was fair and I drove away elated with my purchase. I'm extremely pleased with my new Nissan, and look forward to doing business with you in the future. You can be sure I will recommend you to family and friends.

I had a terrible experience and the salesman Eric was very unprofessional! all he talked about was himself and how he gets a new car 2x a year. we specifically asked him not to run us through more than 5 banks for approval and he did in FACT run us through more than 10!!! very dissatisfied and will not recommend him to anyone

He even found us another car after my wife decided that she didn't like the first one. He was very helpful and so was all of the other staff they even stayed past closing time to make sure we left with everything that we wanted and all of our questions answered. I called ahead to set an appointment. When I got there, I had a quick check-in, and relatively easy process (had to re-confirm all the work done and get all the notes processed; a little longer than I wanted, but not unexpected). Getting a complimentary car rental took a few minutes (except that I had to wait for the guy to get back from break), and I was on my way with minimal ado. When the vehicle was ready, I could get in, pay (no line!), and get out under 10 minutes. Good service, clean facilities. Will come back for future work, at the right price.

PORTER NISSAN gave me a price of $1600.00 to "fix"...

PORTER NISSAN gave me a price of $1600.00 to "fix" about 4 things they found wrong with my 2012 Nissan Rogue that was causing it to make a noise when I hit the gas pedal. One of the problems they found was a bracket that goes to the muffler. I took the car immediately after leaving Porter Nissan to Midas who replaced my muffler 2 yrs. ago. Three mechanics checked everything they said was wrong and found nothing except a bracket that needed to be replaced. Midas put on a brand new muffler, fixed the bracket and it only cost me $60.00 ( for labor) a HUGE difference from $1600.00. I will never go there again. WHAT A RIP OFF!!

I brought my car for service, unscheduled, and was able to get my Free oil change, and two other services completed at the price quoted during my last visit. Service was swift and friendly. I really appreciated the shuttle service which arived within 5-10 min to take me to my next destination. Driver was personable- very good experience.

I paid for a premium service to cover tires and it did not cover tire sensor cost. I was previously told by the service center that the technicians can break or not hook up tire sensors correctly. I had all my tires done at Nissan including rim replacements and patches/fixes and have spent $1000s of dollars. Why charge me for this? Would you rate this a 10?

My Sales Rep Angel was amazing. She made my car buying experience a very enjoyable one (Best one i ever had actually, And i have been buying new/used cars usually every 1-3 years). She was also great in following up with me in regards additional parts i ordered for me car setting up my appointment to get them installs. She has exceptional communication skills and excellent phone etiquette. When i needed to reach her in regards to a separate issue i was having with my old car, she went above and beyond to help me with that issue. This issue has nothing to due with angel or Porter Nissan.

I arrived early on Wednesday morning April 12th and as the service doors opened at 7:30 I was greeted by friendly Technicians. After I was given a maintenance ticket for an oil change and a free alignment inspection sheet I met with Rich McGinnis inside at the service counter. Mr. McGinnis greets you with a smile ready to serve his customers. He reviewed my wife's car's history and offered guidance to today's scheduled work and any upcoming possible services. After this morning's work was completed Rich met me in the waiting area and walked me to the cashier's counter where I paid for today's service. Everyone was very nice. Thank You Porter Family Group

I dropped my car off for an oil change and a new serpentine belt. Both were accomplished. When I left my car made an ungodly noise and I returned. The belt had shredded. It was replaced promptly and when I departed a second time I had no A/C. I returned. Here the service became amazing! The service tech Mike and the Service Manager Lyle were apologetic and promised to make it right. They did just that. They provided a vehicle and kept the car and made all the repairs while having constant communication with me. Lyle called and informed me it had been a technician mistake, they educated the tech, had the Master Tech perform the repairs and cleaned my car. I am impressed with their service and their ability to admit they made a mistake and corrected all aspects from the repair, the education of the tech and their incredible customer service skills. They have won a customer for life and I am happy to recommend them to anyone. Bad things happen, but the way it is handled makes all the difference. Customer Service will always win the customer and Porter has proven that with this situation.
