less than one star. Worst medical care i've ever received in my life. Went in having a seizure and it took them over 4 hours just to get me into see someone. Then once i got to the doctor he had no clue what was going on with me and perscribed me some BS muscle relaxor that he said he had honestly no clue if it would work. Needless to say i didnt get the perscription filled out. What i did get though was a bill in the mail 2 months later for over 500 bucks. 500 dollars for what? for me feeling helpless and worried i might choke on my own tongue for 3 hours while i wait for some nit wit to tell me he knows nothing? Worst medical expeience ever. if you ever get injured in middlebury area take the time to get up to burlington or rutland if you can.

From Express Care to Radiology, our care was prompt, courteous and expert. Could not be happier.

Worst medical service I have ever encountered. Rudest staff I could possibly imagine working in the medical profession. AVOID!

Emergency parking spaces extremely narrow. Otherwise a great hospital, with great people.

Worst hospital ever and so disgusting!! Staff drop garbage on floors and no one pics up, even bloody gauze from other patients hospital rooms on the floor and garbage cans are filled to the top without being changed for days, my husband was in the same room for 2 days and no-one emptied the trash! Staff is very inattentive, my husband was in excruciating pain and he rang his call button and it took 45 mins for anyone to come in and check him and the nurses would just shut the call button off after so long so you would have to press it again. IV bags were left on empty and we would have to let them know they were empty after about 2 hours of no one changing.
One nurse was supposed to flush out IV and it went all over her and the floor, then administering meds in the IV my husband said that something didn't feel right when she did that and she ignored him and did nothing.
When he requested something to drink,she never ended up bringing anything and he never saw her again until 4am!!
All in all, totally disgusted with this hospital and will never go there again or recommend.
This hospital should have A HEALTH INSPECTOR go in and inspect.....definately a health hazard being seen and/or admitted there in my opinion!! DON'T GO.....

Excellent care in ER and and as inpatient caring comprehensive staff

Had an accident going on to deliver.. i went and told someone what happened, doing the right thing. Maintenence came out cursing at me with lots of foul language. Uncalled for.. i did the right thing and Douglas the maintenance boss didn't by talking to me in an unprofessional and Un-adult like manner. The f word isn't used in a professional capacity.. sorry for the accident and I'm real sorry I had to deal with someone as unprofessional as him..

I went to the E.R at Porter 2 weeks ago today to have a splinter removed from my hand. The E.R doctor numbed my hand, made a small cut and actually had ahold of it a number of times as I could feel it. I told him every time I felt him move it and he kept telling me it was a ligament spur. is there such a thing? After about 20 minutes he declared nothing was there, bandaged me up and gave me the name of a specialist. If nothing existed why do I need a specialist? After working for another week and a half with a very sore and infected hand I soaked it in Epsom salts and lo and behold a three quarter inch Douglas Fir splinter came shooting out. Whether or not this doctor was incompetent or lazy I don't know but all you will receive for payment is the splinter.

Rude, judgmental, and awful staff and terrible financial customer service. They are extremely difficult to work with and rarely even pick up the phone. They sent my bill to collections without notice even though I had insurance and had given them my info. They also somehow 'lost' all 3 sets of gold earrings while I was there and refused to even look for them or ask employees. A physician also scolded me on a personal level which is unprofessional and unwarranted for.

Nice staff. Good experience for a smaller hospital.

In the Emergency Room late last night I had the best hospital experience of my life. Remarkably kind and thoughtful staff. I think, from other comments, that some people don't realize that if a lot of patients come to the hospital at the same time, people whose lives are in danger will be cared for before people in for routine matters.

Four hours waiting for help. THE first two hours there were doctors and nurses that did their jobs. Got my mother in law in, did the x ray and mri got her on antibiotics. Now two hrs after the shift change no one has seen her not told her or us what's going on... either do your job or quit.

Terrible hospital with terrible staff. Went in for an x-ray and they had me wait for 2 hours just to get a 3 minute x-ray. They never got back to me with my results. And now I get a bill for $385. Honestly, the worst hospital with the most idiotic staff ever--incompetent, clueless and utterly useless. The entire staff should be fired and the hospital torn down and made into a junkyard. At least, a junkyard would serve some purpose.
