Garrett Otto is also awesome to deal with!!!
I am not related to or friends with anyone employed by Porter Ford. In my opinion they are Worthy of the five star rating. Service is also excellent!!!

Last week, I purchased a vehicle from Porter Ford. Going into the dealership, I knew I needed something reliable to get me back and forth to school, as well as, work. When Rick Neil approached me, he seemed like he had, not only the best intentions on finding a reliable vehicle, but also one that fit my personality. The car I purchased was not only a great value for what I paid but I can say that the car is "me". Rick is a great guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone who may be looking to purchase a vehicle.

Myself and Husband have never enjoyed purchasing a car so much! Chris Mann was our sales associate who took excellent care of us, from start to finish! We not only felt welcomed but truly apart of the entire purchasing process. No haggling the numbers, we were up front with what we wanted and he was clear and up front about what he could do. Great customer service and am looking forward to going back for our next purchase sooner than later!! I can not forget about Drew our finance associate, for the first time in 12 years we purchased an extended warranty, I still have no idea how LOL. He too had great customer service and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend stopping here first when purchasing your next vehicle the team won't let you down!!

I am a satisfied 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid Owner and Porter customer. I can highly recommend the Service Department's Lorenzo Hines. As recently as 11/22/2016, Lorenzo took care of me and my car, as he had done before. When I purchased the car last year, salesman Rodney Redford handled the sale to my satisfaction and with no sales pressure on his part. I was extremely satisfied with the whole experience.

Back in May 2013 I took my Chevy Trailblazer to Porter Chevrolet for service, after picking up my car, which by the way, was promptly repaired and ready to go. I had been considering trading my Chevy in for a newer version. We checked out Porter Ford and Drew Edwards helped us try all the SUV models. I fell in love with the Ford Edge and purchased the Edge, that night! Drew spent a lot of time showing us all the different models and we discussed which model would best suite my needs. The Edge has certainly met all of my needs and I love driving it! Thanks, Drew

I am so grateful for everyone at Porter Ford, especially the AWESOME Chris Mann. After visiting what feels like 10,000 car dealerships - we stopped by Porter and I could tell the difference immediately. Chris is approachable and friendly - and he also has strong business acumen. He understood what we wanted and took us right over to a F-150 in our price range. And they really were able to work a miracle with the financing - a dramatically lower interest rate than any of the previous dealerships. The whole team was just friendly and wonderful. Jacob and Drew were also a pleasure to work with. Thanks you guys!

Went in for recall. Work was done on time and included checkup of tires, breaks and other systems. No other work was required and the service manager took the time to explain to me the status of items needing work in the future.

I had a very bad experience with these people which I never forget and forgive..
I bought 2015 pre-certified car which was holding 275 points carmax certified.

There was a major deffect in transmission where car was stopping suddenly after continously riding 30 miles.

The response was vogue when I reported the same saying it is a machine no one can't guarantee and you can trade out if you need

He threatened me saying sell this car for this so n so price if not we ll not buy..

Overall they cheated me by selling fault car with huge loss which i could not able to bare

Spoke to manager whom you have given details here, but no luck.
they do speak on business line by selling fault car and I lost $2000 just for buying from you guys. I never forgive and forget.

I can t say better things about Sales Rep Chris Mann and General Manager Jason Clare. They went above and beyond to help me get the car I love. People dread the car buying process and these two made it so easy. Trust me. Go see them. You won t regret it. Chris was in contact me on his days off -who does that?! He s awesome. Justin was so professional and down to earth. These two really are gems. Even the whole team- as I sat waiting, I was offered water twice and greeted many times. A tech even offered to help me find new wheels. Hands down, the best car buying process I ve been through. Go see them. You won t be disappointed!

So I left a nasty review in the heat of the moment and I have realized that sometimes things are out of the hands of some of the ppl that the review directly effects. Porter Ford has been very good to my family, my mother bought her car in 2010 and has had numerous good experiences. I should have reviewed them as a whole and not just one bad experience. Thank u Porter for showing your concern and apology for a bad experience. The way the aftermath was handled should be the key factor as well as me and my being unhappy with my wait time. I am human and I do understand that some things cannot be avoided. Then there are times that things can be. Again I do not want to one experience to define my relationship with Porter Ford. The staff was very apologetic to me in person and courteous.

Have had my 2012 focus in for service for the same...

Have had my 2012 focus in for service for the same problem 4 times. I'm having a transmission problem which causes the car to shutter, jerk, slip, till back and not shift. I was told this was normal. Manager told me they have replaced the tcm and put a new clutch in. When I requested ppwk to compare they are very much different. No where I'm mine does it day the clutch was replaced. It says it need prior approval to be replace but after reprogramming its "ok". Anyway....
AUG 15-replaced tcm reprogram adap lear. Seals were replaced and clutch was ordered (6-8 weeks). Replace tcm, oring, tcm call in, brake clean (?), clutch seal kit, clutch b/o 6vweeks out.
May 2015.
Another tcm installed and a seal. Seals were replaced and clutch was ordered (6-8 weeks). Replaced tcm (again?) oring (again?) tcm called in (so was it replaced?) clutch seal kit (again?) clutch......b/o.....6 weeks out (still?)
DEC 2015
TCM (hmmmm), reprogram for overt tcm failure warming. Declined diagnosis due to a $100 plug and play fee...but yet they plugged it in anyway (hmmmm) didn't charge me them refused to fix it. Road test passed, how? As soon as I started driving it started jerking and slipping. But when your techs drive it its fine (hmmmm).
Have more service papers here but all day the same thing---replaced or reprogrammed seals blah blah blah.
Management not happy I left review on Facebook but owell how many people is this dealership gonna give the run around to and lie to? When asked for ppwk you should just give it. It looks shaddy if you want to see my papers first, or you say "Ill give them to you later because u have to dig" etc...red flag! And you shouldn't have your customers wait a month to make a appt when they have a check engine light on (no bending with management was told)! Then get to your appt and not even have the car fixed and not have a rental car like promised. If I wanted to wait for my car to be "serviced" I would Not have made a appt a month out all over a rental car. Ill be taking my business elsewhere and never dealing with this dealership again! Ill tell you the same thing you tell me "you can deal with Ford" since they are the reason for all your neg feedback. If you Value your money and your car you will go elsewhere.
2 months later car still doing the same thing its been doing. They reset the part again with the same reset as before. Not sure what sense that makes but what do I know...also when driving 55-70 mph on highway the electrical dies. Radio, dash etc. Asked them to fix this problem and still Not fixed. Imagine that! Car actrd up the whole way back from the poconos with my 6 year old and 4 year old in the car. Not safe! Now my warranty is expired and I'm stuck driving around a busted up car all because
The boys at Porter are qualified enough to simply diagnosis and fix a newer car. Sucks, was really hoping after 10 tried they would be able to fix and before my warranty was to expire. Don't be stupid like me and keep trusting in them. Go someplace else. You will regret it!!!

I went in to buy out a lease of a 2015 Ford Fiesta. Before I went in, I was online and a Fusion caught my eye. I went in and asked for the numbers on the Fusion. I ended up buying the Fusion because I wanted something larger with more airbags for safety. The Fiesta was a nice little car but I'd rather have something I'm more comfortable in. I want to thank Melissa M. for all her help explaining all my options with regards to financing, discounts and options in the car. She made it very easy without any pressure. I'd also like to thank Jacob for his help with the whole application process, again no hurry or pressure. Thank you Porter Ford. That Fusion is a beautiful car. Looking forward to putting some miles on it.

Made a quick Internet inquiry just for better price info on a Ford Escape -- was just evaluating options, didn't expect to purchase right away. Had a chance to swing by after getting my current car serviced at PortNissan -- met with Rick Neill who suggested a test drive in the 2013 Escape SEL I had inquired about.

Long story short - I went in for just some additional information and an up-close look, and wound up a short-time later driving out in the Escape. Great job by Rick and the others at Porter Ford to make me an offer I couldn't resist! Could not be happier with the experience or the vehicle.

I recommend either Porter Ford or Porter Nissan for anyone looking to make a purchase.

After visiting nearly a dozen dealerships in one w...

After visiting nearly a dozen dealerships in one weekend I concluded my truck shopping here and left frustrated. This dealership gave me one of the lowest offers on my car out of all the dealers by lowballing me $1,500 over most competitor's! I even brought in paperwork reflecting a local companies (Carmax) cash offer to BUY my car outright for over $7,000 and ran internet searches like KBB to validate my car's value, and still got a $5,000 trade in AFTER negotiating up.

To humor myself, I attempted negotiations of a truck I was eyeballing that was last years "new" model to get the better incentives and did the math and concluded my estimated monthly payment would be under $450/mo with my personal banks interest and the listed price minus incentives I qualified for.....NOPE, I guess the math didn't work out for them so was told there's nothing they can do to get me to the numbers I had....which literally had nothing subtracted from the total other than incentives and the insulting 5,000 trade in value. What the heck.

I live about 2-3 hours from this place. Called and spoke with a few nice gentlemen yesterday about a car i was highly interested in. We came to terms and i set up an appointment at 1-2pm with them. Here i am half way to the dealership and i get a message saying they sold the vehicle from under me. Dont waste your time on the reliability of this shop, because there is none. Minus the standard, fake level of consideration employees are required to express, this was probably the worst buying experience ive encountered. Only getting two stars because the employees seemed to initially try. Awful job Porter Ford, start learning how to be loyal to your customers and try to hold a valuing word. A shame, ive never even written a review before and my first one is bad.

I purchased a Ford Explorer from Chris today and I must say I was impressed. I came in with a very low budget that didn't exactly match what I was looking for. I was expecting to hear that I had no options in my price range but Chris without a single second of hesitation told me he had the perfect car for me. He couldn't have found me a better car. It was right in my price range, very well maintained, and the mileage was right where I was gaining for with the capacity to safely fit my whole family.
I got a great car at a fair price. Thank you Chris for helping me out.

Major repair was made on my 2017 Fusion. While disappointed with Ford product quality and reliability as an engine should not fail at 88,000 miles, the Porter Service group handled the repair in a professional and timely manner. My Porter Service contact was on top of the problem and made certain the the replacement parts arrived and my car repaired in a timely manner. My Fusion was purchased at Porter and they have performed all of my maintenance service to date. No other issues with my Fusion.

This dealer is selling a used candy apple red 2012...

This dealer is selling a used candy apple red 2012 Ford Mustang Club Of America Convertible with 11500 miles. I am the original owner. I sold it to a dealer in California with 4000 miles on it. The dealer in California gave me $15000 on trade. It is now being sold for $21889. I cannot imagine this dealer paid much more. According to records the car was then sold in February in California and over 7000 miles was put on it in 2 months and it landed up in Delaware. DO NOT purchase this car. The convertible top leaks in the rain. This is a warning to anyone thinking about purchasing it. It has no warranty left and convertible top leaks are impossible to fix. I only drove it in the sunshine. I noticed the leak when it rained hard one day as my carpet in the trunk was soaked. I had to have parts replaced under warranty for condensation in the trunk due to the leak. Customers are getting ripped off too often by dealers so please take this advice. Thanks

Of five Ford trucks I've bought from 5 different dealers (I love my Ford trucks 1998 used, 2007 used, 2011 New, 2015 CPO and due to unfortunate circumstances a 2018 CPO) Porter Ford (sales) is THE WORST dealership I have ever dealt with.

If you're from out of state buying a car there, don't let them charge you $700 to manage the paperwork, walk before you let them charge you for it and if they concede, have the registration taken care of in your home state, I'm 11 weeks out and my temp tag has expired and they have still not gotten the paperwork completed properly to PADOT. Major confusion with this place and the dealer principal / GM could care less.

I do not recommend them.

Bought a 2010 GT500 on August 17th from Porter. Since the day I bought it, it had very loud axle whine. Took it to Service Department Sept 17th, and it has been there until this very day. Their service department doesn't seem to have a clue how to fix the problem, since the car was there, they have suspected and replaced carrier, pinion, axle, and throwout bearings. Also said that my driveshaft was bad and replaced that. The most recent reply back from them is they have no idea what is wrong and they are contacting ford. Service Dept is very friendly and courteous, but they are clueless when it comes to fixing problems. It seems like every supposed fix broke something else, or maybe it was them just throwing parts at the problem and replacing everything one by one. All I know is two weeks to try and fix an issue is unacceptable.

UPDATE: Oct 9, 2012

The problem is still not resolved, I picked up the car, and the control arms were blamed to be the problem. The car still has the whining/howling in the rear when under load, still not fixed, even though dealer said it was.

I took a look by myself to the white truck in the show room however no one approach me to ask if I need help. Well thanks, I guess I will look for my new truck someplace else!

My salesman was Michael Williams and sales manager was Eric (can't remember his last name) but the two were fantastic. After a terrible experience at Fred Beans in West Chester, my wife and I ventured to Porter and from the very first phone conversation with Michael to current day the whole experience has been terrific. Very respectful, down to earth and straightforward individuals who did not waste my time with the usual car buying game. Would absolutely recommend to a friend or family. In the past, I've always hated my car buying experience but after this one I'm excited to take my wife back to get a new vehicle for herself as well.

My husband is looking for a fun car to share with our son, that they can take to car shows. We already own a Lexus, Mercedes, and 2 Infinitis . They re researching their options and decided to look at the Mustang GT 350, or GT. Upon entering the dealership, we were asked if we re prepared to purchase today. I ve purchased numerous high end vehicles costing more than a Mustang. Not one salesperson has ever asked me that. We agreed to test drive a Mustang GT. My son and I weren t allowed to sit in the passenger seat during the test drive, as the sales person said he has to ride up front, in case there are any problems . Again, I ve never experienced that. For the test drive, they stayed in a 35mph zone and never got an opportunity to see if they actually liked the car. If you re looking for great customer service, this wasn t it. Go see Troy at Porter Chevy. He s the definition of excellent customer service. I now don t have to wonder why there are so many Mustangs for sale and so few Camaros.

Porter Ford is one of a kind! Their Service department is not only efficient, but they make you feel like you're the only person there. As soon as you pull in the garage, there is someone right there to register your car. Their waiting area is comfortable and roomy. They have spaces where you can plug in if you need to work on your laptop, a TV to watch, a coffee station, etc. I purchased my car from Porter and quite honestly, my next purchase will be at Porter! Hands down the best sales and service department I've ever dealt with! They have taken care of any issues I've had with my car and kept it within reason! The work they do is exceptional and they don't over charge or try to take advantage.

Terrible customer service. Why do I bother to make an appointment? Arrived very early for my 10am appointment to have my air bag replaced. Various websites indicate this service should take 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete, so I had planned to remain with my car while the repair was made as I had other errands that I planned to handle after the repair. Shuttle took me home, which is a 45 minute drive to get to, after the service adviser told me my car would not be ready until the end of the day, but in the next breath told me it would be done in time for me to attend my grandson's baseball game at 3:45. Service adviser called me at home at 3pm to say my car would not be completed that day. Said he could send the shuttle to pick me up and I could rent a car, but then I would miss the ballgame. Rental section closes at 5pm, so if I went to the game I would be too late to pick up a car. Told Craig I would have my son-in-law bring me up to Newark when the car was ready the next day. I could go on with other complaints I have with Porter customer service, but I'm sure I would run out of space before I finished.

My husband bought a vehicle six weeks ago. We live in PA and "it takes some time to get the registration in order," at least that's what we were told by the sales rep. The temporary DE tag expires in two weeks. So, I called in today to check on the status of the permanent PA tag. The sales rep suggested that I wait another week to see if it came in the mail. I told him "NO" and asked if I could speak to someone who could give me an actual status. He gave me the number to the individual who handles registration. As it turns out, this individual said she just got the sales packet that week. Really? Six weeks later? Not only did she just get it, she needed more information in order to process the registration. So for six weeks nothing had been done and nobody contacted us to get the required information. I promptly faxed the information that was needed and in my fax I asked the registration rep to call me and let me know that she received the faxed. Two hours later I called her and asked if she received the fax, to which she replied "let me check my inbox." Are you kidding me? I said I would send it right away and she didn't have the decency to check for it. Unbelievable. There is error on both the sales and registration departments. 1) How long does it take for the sales department to send the sale information to registration? 2) Who's responsibility is it to follow-up on registration to make sure it is being done? My husband called two weeks before I did and was told "this registration process takes some time." BULL! Clearly there was no communication between the two departments. 3) The information that was needed to process the registration was information that should have been taken care of at the point of sale! This is beyond poor customer service! Anyways, the registration rep said that she'll try to get the registration to us next week. Let's see how long this actually takes.....

Drive in service for maintenance was fast and easy. Addressed as soon as I drove in and directed to service advisor. Quick response with no high pressure pitch for add ons. Kept me updated on progress and came to get me as soon as truck was finished. Lounge area was good. Seats, TV, wifi access, coffee and water.

I bought my first car from Porter, they went above and beyond to see me this car. He even drove to my house to pick me up to continue the sale, which I really did appreciate! I sadly did not do my research and was in a rush to buy a car so I let them chose for me, after $8,000 and 7 months later...the car is officially dead. If trash bags had wheels they would try and sell it to you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Service department was HORRIBLE. They overcharged me for an oil change. When I complained, they said it was the correct price. Got home and saw a Ford commercial promoting the lower priced oil change I thought I was getting. Called the service manager (same guy I dealt with inside the service dept) and he said the next oil change was on them (instead of refunding me my difference). I wrote to the dealership about my poor experience and never heard anything from them. Come on - they cheated me out of $10 on an oil change - do I really trust them with major issues on my car? I just spent $45k this month on a new 2016 Explorer - not from them! If I can't trust them with my existing car, why would I want to buy a new one from them? I don't trust this dealership one bit and will never do business with them again. Glad all Ford dealerships are not like this.

The sales consulted (Rob Stellfox) and other Porter staff involved with this purchase were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous!

Porter Ford stood above the other dealers that were visited during the period of looking for a pre-owned vehicle. I can understand why they have been in business since 1925

Well after 2 days the Tech who rotated my tires did not check the air pressure. My F-350 Diesels tires vary by about 15 pounds of pressure for the front and the back. Very disappointed that this was over looked. It takes too much time to take it back than fix it myself. Also clean any oil that was dripped on the front end I had oil in my driveway for the first time the day after the oil change.
