Same treatment as the others. They ripped me off. DO NOT order factory direct from Portabrace. Use B&H if you want one of their cases.

As for me, I'll never buy anything they make again, from anywhere. They seem to be brazenly engaging in consumer fraud.

Their website and product offerings are very, very confusing. I ordered a case directly from their website, but then I discovered from the B&H website that Portabrace had posted the wrong photos on the item I ordered, so I mistakenly ordered the wrong one.

They don't answer the phone or respond to emails. Of the dozen calls and emails I made, I got one response saying they agreed to cancel my transaction, because I ordered the wrong item The guy - Mike - said "we will cancel your order, we will refund you the $200".

They never refunded me, nor did they respond to my further calls and emails. Now I am in the dispute process with Paypal trying to get my money back - I wish I'd use a credit card as it would have been easier & faster to get my money back. I may not get the money back - sadly, Portabrace may succeed in stealing my $200+.

What a shame. I always try to support made-in-USA products. But in Portrabrace's case, they are making made-in-USA look bad. It doesn't reflect well on Vermont either, this is the 2nd time I've faced a brazen ripoff from a small Vermont company.

This so called customer service is a complete joke. I am infuriated by how I've been treated by your company. I placed an order for a custom case May 2nd and I can't even get you people to return a phone call. Let alone answer the phone!

Attention!! Do Not buy factory direct! Buy from a dealer. If you buy factory direct (from their website) you might not receive your order. Or, if you do receive your order but you need to return something for some reason then there's a very good chance you won't get a refund. Take it from someone who got duped. I returned a bag for a refund and instead of getting refunded they charged my credit card again! They have not responded to my attempts to get this corrected so I've had to dispute the charges with Visa. Porta Brace is actually fighting the dispute claiming I ordered 2 bags. The dispute has not been resolved yet but I will update this ASAP. Buyer Beware! Do not buy factory direct! Buy from a reputable dealer like B&H and Adorama. You've been warned!

Update: 12/2018. Finally, 6 months after the original transaction, Porta-Brace finally issued my credits. Chase Visa wasn't helping so I made a last ditch effort to contact Porta-Brace via email and ask them why it's been 6 months and no credit issued. Within a week the credits were issued but without an apology. I also closed my account with Chase Visa because of their lies. Chase Visa made up lies as to why Porta-Brace wasn't entitled to pay. So, goodbye to Porta-Brace and Chase Visa!

Ordered a Belt Pack January 5, 2015 and as of February 23rd have yet to receive anything. My email response was a generic we'll ship it to you when ready. My phone call went to voice mail and has yet to be returned. Bogus.
The belt pack will replace one with the zipper blown out and I needed it the day I ordered it. Not sure who is in charge of customer service but I suspect no one.

Amazing products, last a lifetime. I'm using a run bag that's 30 years old. My camera strap is 25 years old and finally just tore. Fortunately a new strap came with my recently purchased jacket for my PXW-Z450. Thought that went into the design was amazing and the gear fits like a glove with access at all of my buttons and switches. Also included a great rain cover that I was not expecting with my purchase.

If if weren't for new equipment being made, they would go out of business because their stuff lasts forever.
