If you are in New Orleans you must stop and eat here

Came here and ordered two 5 pieces. We waited for over 30 minutes and everyone else who came after us got their food before us. The staff is also the dumbest staff possible. They couldn t pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel

Busy, but what do u expect in the busiest, original part of the city. Food is fresh for the most part, but taste great and not greasy as you would expect!

It's Popeyes so you know the chicken is great however their side orders are TOO small that it wouldn't satisfy a baby!!!

Food was kinda cold and the line set up was odd and people working weren't very friendly.

It is one of the best in its chain. Its location is excellent and the service is very good. They are well prepared to attend large groups of people. The flavor is the standard of the chain.

I wasn't cooked good to me. .I've had better in Birmingham

I don't think the staff are deliberately rude, but poor training or inattention really makes it come across that way. I know it's a fast food restaurant, but even by those standards I found this branch really inhospitable.

extremely crowded with a weird layout. employees had very loud conversations with each other anddining area needed much cleaning

The chicken here is delicious! I'm a fan here completely. The outside is crisp and the inside is juicy. Biscuits are also delicious.

Fresh chicken , long lines but moved very fast. After u pay u go to another line to let them bag your food to go. Different huh

My chicken Sandwich was good the coleslaw and the banana pie

I liked the friendly staff. This location was on Canal street in New Orleans, La. I liked the two lines for ordering and paying. The wait was not long. I liked the bagging of food in a separate location from the register. It was reasonable clean for the amount of people coming in and out. I disliked my chicken was not hot and it was old. Additionally, it did not taste spicy. I did eventually eat it after microwaving it later that night after a few drinks.

Much better flavor and taste than popeyes in the city where I live.....and no line for the chicken sandwich

The chicken was ok. But there was a huge rat that ran from one trash can to another. Im never going back to that Popeyes.

Never Consistent feel like locals should love this location, but we tolerate it because its Popeyes. Management need to love their job again and take a training course.

Bathrooms were filthy.. the rest of the restaurant didnt seem too sanitary either. Also the chicken was like bottom 3 popeyes chicken ive ever had. Was disappointed becausr i thought it would be the best seeing that I was in Louisiana where Popeyes actually originates.. New Yorkers make it better lol.

My experience was great.. nice fresh hot chicken. I just want them to clean the chicken a little more.

They move fast with two lines and the food was fresh

Stopped by for a quick bite while we were in New Orleans. Enjoyable.

Had to wait for 2 orders of fries for 18mins and therefore my chicken was cold and my other fries aswell....saw other ppl getting fries ppl that ordered after me and only reason i finally got my fries was because i had to get up and ask for them, terrible.....

I really love going to Popeyes not just for the food but the people who work there

I waited 15 minutes to get ordered after cashier JUST waited on the customer that was a head of me inside and they wasn't even BUSY. INSIDE AND OUT! The cashier then finally came 15 minutes later and asked for my order and she thought I was waiting for my food. And my food was COLD too!

The worst Popeye's (or any fast food chain) I've ever been in. Openly rude staff, filthy bathrooms, condiment/drink station perpetually empty and filthy. It's a block from my house, but I will drive to ANY other Popeye's rather than eat here. I have been all over, and never been treated as poorly as I was in that store. If I could give negative or zero stars, I would do that.

Have lived in New Orleans for over 40 years. Have seen this chain of restaurants evolve to a much better place. the restaurant on canal is consistently well-stocked and staffed. They always anticipate lots of hungry people coming in and therefore always have a lot of hot chicken. the only reason for not giving it five stars was that it was not very clean. Almost every table had something left over on it the floor needed to be swept and mopped

Not worth the price and doesn't really compare to places like Bojangles.

Never let's me down. This is the only Popeyes I eat.

If you love popeyes chicken you have to experience the Nol way...

It was one of the worst, I have ever been to. The chicken was dry and employees were not friendly.

My son and I recently visited New Orleans (French Quarters). We had an amazing time! One of our stops for lunch, was the original Popeyes Chicken Kitchen. The chicken was "finger licking good" and the biscuits melt in you mouth!

Regular ole Popeyes...I personally wasn't impressed nor did I taste the difference than Popeyes at home - however I am not a huge fried chix eater nor do I remember the last time I even ate Popeyes at home.

Just a popeys they keep running out off jalapeno peppers
