Great wine, stingy pours. The restaurant is excellent and is priced accordingly.
Great wine, stingy pours. The restaurant is excellent and is priced accordingly.
We have visited Ponte many times tasting wine, enjoying the food and staying in the hotel. It is always a pleasant experience to come to this property and enjoy the wine country!
Very nice space and friendly staff. Really liked the sparkling rose. Seems like it would be a nice place for a wedding!
This is such a beautiful location and a perfect wedding venue!
I always love the restaurant at Ponte! Beautiful scenery and wonderful food. This is my second time bringing my baby to the restaurant, and servers were very polite despite the challenging little customer.
Best outdoor restaurant in the Temecula wine country. Excellent service. Casual atmosphere. Great wine!
Consistently disappointing. Even pre-covid the attitudes and service were poor. Nothing has improved. Sad.
This place is disappointing. A lot of the wineries close at 5 PM on the weekdays and I understand that. Not a lot of business to be had. The restaurant closed up at 4 PM but the gift shop was open until 6. I've dined here a couple times for lunch and dinner. Lunch was very good. Dinner was okay. Great outdoor views. The hours of operation are short. You may want to just dine in Temecula on weekdays.
A very fine dining experience. Well worth the cost.
First class everything. Do make a reservation because it is very popular. You can have wine and walk the beautiful premises as you wait for your table. Food is delicious! Will definitely be back.
Their restaurant is amazing and their hotel is so comfy! Their wines are also delicious and the wine tasting room attendance are super friendly. I recommend staying here in the hotel for a night! It s a very romantic spot!
Beautiful setting, excellent food and, of course, some very good wines. Wine tasting followed by lunch here is hard to beat.
Just outstanding in food wine and service. Grounds are breathtaking.
As always, worth the drive to Temecula for lunch at Ponte. Great food, service and an awesome view!
Nice wines, priced high IMHO. On busy weekends the servers have a hard time keeping up, and that can be frustrating. Bumping up against rude people at times too. But for the most part a recommended place with wines that are worth it.
Great food, wine, and very friendly service. Very clean and surrounding area is all wine country. There is also a gift shop and tasting room.
Amazing! Great service, beautiful and so clean. Staff are all helpful and so friendly! Great romantic escape!
My spouse and I are wine club members who live far away, so to make sure we get out here regularly, we switched from having our shipments mailed, to onsite pickup. Best decision ever. We were married here in 2013, so every time we return, we get to relive the romantic and friendly moments shared by all who attended. It's a really nice way to bolster our relationship and remind ourselves why we married in the first place. Regarding the tasting room, wine club members only need to check in with the sales person to receive a complimentary flight of wine to taste. Non-member price is $20 per person, unless they're guests of members, in which case the non-member price is discounted. There are only two wines I dislike: Vernaccia Nera, a sparkling red that has a hit of black pepper on the finish, which I don't care for; and Arneis, a super light white wine which lacks the fullness I prefer. Ponte also has three very sweet wines: Beverino, Late Harvest, and their Port. If you aren't a fan of sweet reds, these aren't for you. My favorites: Doppietta, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Holiday Zinfandel, Super T, Barbera, Angry Wife (White and Red versions), Malbec, Chardonnay, Pas Doux, and Moscato (more like a sparkling or champagne than sweet white). You can taste six different wines, or taste 3 and have a glass of your favorite, which takes up three tastings on your ticket. Finally, if you want to support local artisans, the tasting room has a few displays set up which have edible, wearable, and decorative items crafted in and around Temecula.
Amazing wines, beautiful location, and great service. Love being a club member.
Beautiful grounds and a nice restaurant but the food and tastings are pricey and the wine wasn't something I would rave about. It was decent quality but nothing stood out. Scant pours in the tasting room as well. In would give 3.5 were that an option
We Love everything about Ponte! It is a warm inviting atmosphere, the wine and food is spectacular and we have always had a wonderful time there! The Ponte Inn is exquisite in every way. Ponte treats you like Family and their customer service is second to none!
In extreme contrast to many of the wineries in Temecula, Ponte is lovely, elegant, beautifully landscaped, has made excellent use of it's space and views, has paved parking, an extensive gift shop, and a welcoming restaurant. This is the best winery in Temecula to go spend an afternoon at. A perfect day would be visiting the tasting room for a while, buying your favorite bottle and enjoying it on the grounds somewhere, then having a delicious lunch at the restaurant. Be sure to make reservations. On a sunny day you could really spend some quality time here. The Inn is also gorgeous, though we just walked through, didn't stay.
I have been going to Ponte for several years now for brunch, and it just never gets old. Customer service is great, as well as the food. The view of the grapevines compliments everything and makes it a wonderful experience.
Conducted a wine tasting, swill, and especially white
Extremely disappointed, I appreciate wine and the intense labor, work, and creativity it takes to create a good product. Unfortunately, this information was not given or even known about the wine. Whites were atrocious and reds below average. I felt it was not about the sale!
Ohhhhh my goodness. This was one of my favorite vacation getaways in recent memory. My husband and I went to Irvine to visit some friends when the husband suggest we spend a night in Temecula. Well the boys found this place and we couldn't believe it when we arrive. Beautiful scenery, beautiful complex, great food (2 restaurants on site!), and amazing service. Everyone was so friendly from the front desk, to the wine tasting room, to the restaurant and beyond. We had a vineyard facing room and it was unbelievable. My only regret is not spending more time here. Plus their wines are great!! We will be back.
Excellent wine with a lot of varieties. Fun shopping too while you taste. The restaurant is also excellent.
My friends and I had A STELLAR time here! I came in from NJ to visit my best friend in Temecula and she highly recommended the place so I just had to come! They had a wonderful selection of wines and their charcuterie board was perfect. I cannot wait to come back!
Beautiful garden, amazing wines, appetizing food and service is always great!
Had an incredible time at Ponte. Our servers were delightful and the scenery is to die for. Definitely coming again.
So beautiful and the wine is delicious! I will definitely be returning
A lovely afternoon here with the impressive scenery and a couple glasses of red would serve you well in this wonderous winter
Good summer menu. Top chef Christy and top Pastry Chef are the best. Great wines. Lovely atmosphere
Ponte Winery and Hotel has the best service and the cellar down stairs is very romantic. Take your girl here and just have a great time.
John
Stay here. Trust me. They'll treat you like royalty.
New Year's Birthday Drink(Late Harvest 2015), with Great Friends Olga and Janet
Great place to spend an afternoon. Have a meal at their restaurant and make sure to do some tastings.
Fun, lively winery. Wines are good and reasonably priced compared to other surrounding wineries
One of California's and the nation's top rated restaurants in an excellent Temecula winery. Reservations recommended.
Beautiful outdoor seating to enjoy a glass of wine with a great meal
It is a great experience to taste the different house wines with friendly servers.
Good wine, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. They habe a restaurant which to be honest I didn't try yet. But there wasn't a lack if people eating there.
Ponte is doing a great job of observing CDC recommendations and social distancing requirements. I would definitely recommend making a reservation and having a safe day out!
An incredible space for a wedding! I own Tayler Ashley Photography and had the pleasure of working at Ponte Winery. Their team is wonderful and the space is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this spot for the perfect Temecula wedding!
The food and wine are excellent! Nice, relaxing environment too.
The food and service were wonderful! I would highly recommend!
My wife and I love it here so much that we became wine club members and try to get up and spend the night at the Inn whenever we can (which is unfortunately not often enough). Great wine, restaurant, Inn, staff... and the grounds are gorgeous. Highly recommended.
Came here for a wedding and some wine beautiful place good place to take a lot pictures good place to drink wine and if you plant ever went near a venue to consider
Great COVID measures in place. In and out like a dream.
Beautiful place, great wine, great service. Full bar in the basement. Amazing patio seating with fire pits..
Absolutely beautiful place! Attended my cousins wedding there and it was beyond amazing! The reception area is very chic and trendy. Makes you feel at home and comfortable. And is setup so you have great views on any side of the building you are in. The tasting room was also beautiful. People everywhere, very friendly staff and again the view was delightful!
Ponte Winery has a relaxing vibe along with amazing views of the Temecula countryside. When you first arrive you re greeted to a large open tasting room filled with unique gifts and a friendly staff. Once you get settled in and begin your tastings you ll want to explore the grounds. As you step outside you re drawn into their beautiful gardens. Take a walk around and enjoy the sites while sipping on a glass of wine. Make sure to stop by their restaurant as well, you won t be disappointed. One of Temecula s finest wineries.
Love this place!!! Everyone is so nice and the wine is fantastic
Generous pour and many delicious sweet wines. We had a great guide who took us around 20 tastings of wine we had. The wine itself was not so memorable, but it has all the cliche attraction of a wine tasting room.
Beautiful ambience. Friendly staff , good food but a bit pricey. Great wine.
Worst winery! My sister in law got married there a few years ago and i still remember how bad they were. Unprofessional and rude! I was reminded of this horrible experience just now as someone was asking me for recommendations for a wedding venue and I made sure they knew about this place and not to go there.
Service sucked their wine was not Tasty at all going back to Wilson's better service better vibe.
Our entire party thoroughly enjoyed the wines here and thought they had the best wines on our wine tour.
You never know, especially as it was the 1st stop of the 4 wineries, but we all purchased the only wines we did end up bringing home, from Ponte.
We've been trying to do an annual trip to Temecula and now that we found out Ponte has it's own accommodations, think we know where we'll be staying at next year.
To say this is the place to wind down, destress, get rid of stuff, is an understatement. I kinda don't want people to know how excellent the food and service is
Was a brief visit but it was nice. Definitely returning for a longer stay!
