The tree at the top of the hill by the stoplight... i planted that circa 1993. I didn't start hating school until Prairie Middle School, so thanks Ponderosa!

this school was my childhood and I hope to at least work as a janitor there so I can walk down memory lane of all the pure fun I had. this very school made me want to learn more about the world I live in.

I love it here because it has different kinds of things to teach children

I got bullied while I was over there. It was so bad, I had to move to Village East.

I liked the special Ed teachers they seemed nice.. My son has special needs. So we had an iep. At first everyone seemed to be on the same page to getting my child the help he needed. The principal was nice at first but then after a while she would see me and just stare at me with a disgusted look. I can't read minds but actions tell me a lot. A lady that actually represented the cherry creak schools came to a meeting she was very professional and seem very interested in helping me get the help my son needed. As for the classroom environment I sat in a couple times it was so overwhelming. I don't know how the teacher managed. 3rd grade kids where using explicit language flipping the teacher off. Racial slurs . Teacher was nice but nice doesn't teach children. It seemed to me that they put all the minority in one class and I was told they put the challenging kids in one class. After sitting in the class and not seeing much racial divirctey . I had to ask again and the earlier statement had been retracted . Teachers are discipline them making them eat with the lights off. Making them stand on wall for recess . Whole classrooms even grade. If they would use fun ways of learning. Like building listening skills and leadership skills and working together in a positive manner to build up these precious children . If you want your child to be prepared for prison send them here. If your child has to go here team up with parents take back the lives of these children. Be prepared to fight for the lives of these kids .

I've been to this school for one year I was a knew kid in kindergarten then I moved in first grade but I miss this school it was not that bad of a school I don't remeber how it is know but it's cool school know I'm in middle school but I geared this school is bad

Very good school. Teaches you lots of good and fun things. Get to go to things in fifth grade

Not impressed by the principal or the women that work in the office. I've had a few incidents this year with my daughters teacher as far as other kids hitting her during recess and a boy doing inappropriate things to my daughter at school. The situation was handled but next time I will let the police handle it. Not impressed ponderosa! Some families live in certain neighborhoods so their children can go to nicer schools. I thought this was the case but dont be fooled people
