In order to do this work...you have to "have a calling"... otherwise it's just too hard.
There is also a "Blue Family" that forms to protect each other doing this unbelievable hard job.
And some of us are "called" to support them...our front line. That would be me...with many, many years of Volunteer Service to Police Departments.
They need us! I can't tell you how much they need...and how totally gratifying it is to know you've helped.
We will also need to "pitch-in" and help our fallen officer's families cope with this tragedy.
A mural of the Fallen Hero will be painted on the Courtyard Wall of The Gangs 2 Grace Club House. He loved children and pledged his support as a Mentor here. He will never be forgotten! Ever!

I just moved to Pomona 6 month ago I got robbed today in the afternoon wile I was walking back home from taking food to my daughter at school.. The guy that robbed me took my phone and a bag of food i hurry back home call the cops they were there in no time looking for the guy I m sooo happy with the Pomona police department they are fast acting and get to work fast !!! Definitely feel save knowing that they are always patrolling my neighborhood
Very Fast acting and Professional. Called them a few Times and they come in less than 10 Minutes! Thank You Ladies and Gentleman! You make my Life and my Job easier!
They are friendly here. They are taking care of things people are coming in for.
Everyday I take my son to school and drop off my son at a red curb without realizing I was making a violation. Today I received a ticket. This is the first ticket in 19 years of driving. Although I do not know if the fee will be large or small, I do not have anything against officer Bellis. After I was ticketed, the officer stayed at the location. I even noticed him stand with another police officer on a motorcycle. Soon after I was ticketed, I noticed about a dozen more cars doing the exact same thing I did, drop off their kids at the exact same location. However, they were not ticketed. I was the only one. I am extremely upset over this unfair incident.

I was visiting over the weekend. This weekend that just passed. Some friends had just closed on a home. I'm visiting. The day I'm leaving I wake up at 5.00am to get ready to hit the highway. I wake up to my friends garage had been rob Doors opened.. By 7am we find out that 5 houses on the street been violated.. Home owner calls back 2 hrs later to police dept Shift change the same story.. Now its 9am home owner decides to go to police dept. To find out you have to wait for officer to come to your home. Now were waiting and waiting wow 11:30am 2 officers the young officer very help trying to really do his job.. The older officer tells the young just make them happy and lets go.. Older one sat in the car. Not neither one came in the home. So why do you have to wait on officers to come. And neither one of them. Didn't come in.Just walked up wrote whatever down and gone..

We have been living in Pomona for 15 years. Pomona police department is unfriendly, inefficient, and incompetent. This is based on a number of poor experiences. I had a parking ticket. I went to the police department to dispute it, and learned that they had sourced out the processing of parking tickets. Basically, they signed up with a collection agency whose intereste is to collect as much as they can.
This is the worst and perhaps a corrupt police department. Once you receive a parking ticket, they basically sell it to a collection agency, operating under the name "citation processing center ". The name is an insult to injury. It's a f... collection agency. They collect and keep a percentage. According, they don't care about anything but collecting money. For a police department to sell us out like this, is really bad. I wouldn't be surprised if some people in the police department and city council ended up with bribes! This is really bad. Shame on this corrupt police department.
Pomona PD is amazing my Vechile got stolen last night I noticed this morning when I was headed to work. I made a police report around 7:50am and by the time i got out of work and was arriving home like 5:30ish I received a call that my car was found! Great work Pomona Police Department your work is appreciated!
