My son takes swimming lessons here. The pool is a good size for lessons, and they have two areas (connected). One for doing laps and one that is 3ft only. Overall, it's a well managed and maintained, but the frequency of "accidents" in the pool is a bit high. When there is one, they shut the pools down, so you have to wait until next time around. When you have a week lesson that gets canceled because of that, it does take longer to learn!

They also have a basketball court here, but we don't utilize that.

Great Day program for special needs and others. Wonderful Senior Program also. Pool area has been remodeled. Public access and events. This is a wonder filled place

Attended a meet and greet at this location..totaly unrelated to the rec-center..But couldnt help seeing what a great work..that was happening right before my eyes. Absolutely heartwarming the work they do here with the handicap the services they offer are amazing the staff amazing for all those who complain about where your tax dollars are going visit here you will be pleasantly surprised keep up the good work.

It's my favorite day program it really fun the on center that has party 4ofjily parts you name it

This super heated pool is my saviour! If I have to exercise, & I do, let it be in a 92 degree pool for 2 hrs. They also have year-round themed activities and large spaces to rent out for your events now that the center is Under New Management & it's great cuz there's tons of free parking! the fundraisers are also a lot of fun and the prizes are getting better!! Both The pool & general staff are really cool too!! Of course there is an abundance of ADA parking on various sides of the building!! Truly a hidden treasure of San Francisco tucked away behind the zoo and across the road from Lake Merced.

The clients here are treated with respect and kindness and understanding. The staff is wonderful. The facility is well lit and clean.

I love my center people are very nice and smart and beautiful amazing and wonderful and safe and warm and cozy I can't imagine not coming to enjoy my favorite super star friends and family Life and just flat out amazing beautiful woman from Joseph Bernard boxley Mr handsome

This is the finest recr facility for people w/ disabilities that you'll ever see... our comrades who are differently abled, wonderful human beings w/ special needs, and beyond, experience a nationally known center #recreationforlife

This is a great spot to swim with your family if you like warm water. We are enrolled in recreational swimming with my kiddos...they love it! There r toys and the pool has shallow as well as a deep end. The only cons are that it gets crowded at certain times and they do swim classes during open swim- cuts down even more space to swim . I think it is also a little tough to get into the weekend time slots.
