Pulaski memorial hospital Review

My daughter, Becky Heutten brought her prematurely born baby girl to the Emergency Room when her baby had begun to turn yellow . "Dr. Williams" stated that this is not an "emergency", and she should have brought her to her pediatrician (Who doesn't open until Tuesday) to have a blood draw. He did a blood draw, then stated "I have no idea who to send the results to". My daughter has no idea who to send it to either ... that's why she went to the emergency room...she's not a doctor he is... Shouldn't he know what to do....isn't that why they call him "Doctor".

Every time I have gone to the emergency room all of the staff have been so professional, prompt, and actually seem to care. I recently had oral surgery and had major complications, I ended up in their ER twice. Both times they ran multiple tests, scans, and worked tirelessly to get my issues resolved. They never let you just sit in the room for hours on end like other facilities which to me, is a HUGE deal for me! I like to feel they care and are checked on to made comfortable in such a scary time. Hope they see this and know how appreciative I am for all of them! I am so thankful for all that they have done for me, and hope to be on the mend soon!

This hospital is a joke. I wouldn't send my dog there. They killed both of my parents last year. Proclaimed they did CPR on my mom and she had been gone for 4 hours, and she wasnt! Told my dad he was just sick and turned out he had cancer. 3 types! Go to Rochester or Plymouth hospital. Worth the drive!

To me its 50/50. It really depends on who is working I guess. My infant was in there 3x before Dr Allman seen her and finally figured out she had severe pneumonia.
I first went to them when I had severe pain (later diagnosed with RA) and was sent home 3x in immense pain and my family was told I was crazy. I was brought in by a nurse friend who told them we weren't leaving until they figured something out. Four visits to figure out what should have been taken care of on 1 visit.
For major problems I chose to go to Rochester.

Great group of nurses and support, caring and very good at what they do, from intake to outpatient surgery, Awesome job!!

Three times MY DAUGHTER had a procedure and the DOCTORS and the HOSPITAL is RUN BETTER than anything NORTH of ROUTE 30, INDIANA. AND a HECK of ALOT BETTER THAN ILLINIOS, YES SIR!!!

Had 5o get labs done. Hope always gets a vein quick and easy the first time

I love this little Hospital! It is awesome! I am a nurse that works in Valparaiso but I delivered both of my kids here. I was treated at my hospital one night while working for a kidney stone and sent back up to finish my shift in pain ended up here the next night, finally got pain relief and a doctor who actually talked to me. I have made several trips through the years with my kids for stitches and fractures. I have never been disappointed in the care we have received here it is the best care you could ask for. Their therapy department it top notch too, several in the house have used them. When my husband had a herniated disc we went here even though I knew we would be transferred (lots faster than going through the Valpo ER). We are blessed to have this hospital so close.

Took my infant daughter here Monday morning because her temperature kept raising with tylenol. No test were ran on her because we had took her to a hospital Thursday flu and rev came back negative. The doctor told me she just had gas and was hungry when I told her I wanted more answers the doctor hugged me and told me its just seems like more to me because I'm a first time mom. We later were to her doctor and found out she had a serious uti.

Pulaski County has been blessed for over 5 decades to have Pulaski Memorial Hospital with its staff rendering care to its patients .
