If you go anywhere near Hawaii and you don't visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, you're doing yourself a great disservice. Make sure you show up early so you have time to really see and do everything they have to offer, and stay for H . Worth the entire trip to Oahu.

This is a wonderful place, very beautiful! It is a celebration of all Polynesian cultures and their traditions. Each one has a village set up in their style and they do a demonstration of their native customs, dance and way of life. The best part for me was the boat parade. Each country has a boat with decoration specific to the country. They dress in traditional costumes and sing and dance as the boats go by, it culminates with all of them side by side singjng about how we are all interconnected and should have love for one another. It's an awesome interesting place.

This place shows the six different islands that make up the culture of Hawaii. Each island is represented with a different village at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Very entertaining the food at the luau was good plenty of it and the show at the end of the evening was also very good.

The drive there was interesting as Pita the tour guide gave a great history lesson on what we were to expect about their culture. The atmosphere was great as well, a mild 80 degrees with an occasional light drizzle once or twice. Each village tour gave an exceptional meaning to its culture an existence and overall link to how the Hawaiian Islands came together. The Polynesian Culture Center had very a nice market place to grab souvenirs and food. The dinner was great as well to cap if any hunger urges you may have had while inside the park. To end the overall experience was the night show with native dancing & fire show was a site to see and experience. This place is a must see if you ever get to come to Hawaii and I will definitely attend again if I were to visit the Island again

This was a great experience. After reading other Google reviews we did the ambassador package to get the guided tour. It was worth it. Although it is easy to navigate yourself around the center I believe the tourguides maximize your time (especially if you aren't there first thing in the morning). I loved the respect that was shown to the Polynesian countries and learned so much more than expected. Luau was good, I found that entertainment to be a little redundant but the food was fairly tasty and kept us occupied. "Ha The Breath of Life" was a magnificent show and although we were starting to get tired, we agreed it is worth staying. Overall the culture center can be a long day but it's worth the trip.

What an amazing experience! If you like learning about Polynesian culture, this is the place for you. I had heard many people talk about their visits here, and I was skeptical. However, my wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, and the PCC was one of our favorite highlights from our visit to Oahu. Highly recommend!

Great place to learn about Polynesian culture and enjoy beautiful shows and scenery. The people working are students and by going you are helping pay for their education. The group tours are awesome, we had Kayne and he was quite informative. I never knew about the Polynesian triangle but it all makes much more sense. The food is good, but the shows are really magical. They put a lot of hard work into this and it shows.

This was fun, we didn't get to stop alot because our guide wanted to make sure we got good seats at the mini shows. But there was a three day pass included in our package. So can go back and look at all the other stuff we didn't get to. But it was well worth it. Want to go again. The performers are friendly and welcoming on top of being really good and full of energy.

Too expensive for what it offers. They try to sell you something constantly. May be it s more oriented toward families with kids. Too long almost 13 hours. Take your car, not the bus. The food is mediocre. You can get much better quality fir the same money. And it s a dry campus. No alcohol of any kind.

Great place. Takes a bit of a drive, but once here very good. Plenty of food places as well as interactive sessions. Plan to spend at least 3 hours to be able see all the different sights. Plus any extra time for shows and meals.

Once outside there are lots of shops and food stalls to visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Could not fault them. Thank you.

This has a very high cost, but it is super fun! We actually paid a bit more for the Ambassador package. We had a guide and I think it really enhanced our visit. She knew what was going on where and it allowed us to maximize our day. Dinner was amazing. The night show had an interesting storyline, but the dance and music is fun. This is great the first time, and additional visits, too.

Great to experience the various Polynesian cultures in one place. Each island has its own cultural center with various demonstrations throughout the day. At 2:30 every day there is a floating dance performed by each tribe. For those in a rush, purchase the $10 WikiWiki package that give you an hour access to the islands.

This was an amazing place to visit. It is like a theme park for Polynesian culture. The students that perform all day long make it an amazing experience. The food was fantastic and Ha: The Breath of Life show was powerful. Make sure that you plan on being there from the minute it opens until it closes because even with that you will hardly get through everything.

The cost is almost as expensive as a day at Epcot, and I think the entertainment/experience was worth the cost. Ha was a spectacular evening show! Nice programs at each village and it was easy to interact with the performers.

My wife and I thought it was really great but our four kids absolutely ate everything up. Of all the things we did in our eight days on Oahu they said this was their absolute favorite. They got so immersed in in love with the culture that after we left they all commented that they kind of wished they were Polynesian.

Excellent attraction to learn about the cultures of Polynesia: Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga, etc. Plenty of shows, presentations, music and dances. Was quite interesting, many interactive activities to do. Canoe show was entertaining, and the best cultural presentation was the one in Tonga. Many different food vendors available for pineapple shakes, ice cream, etc. If you're into football, there's the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame.

The luau buffet was loaded with beef, chicken, Poke, vegetables, and of course the roast pork. Ha Breath of Life was a great show, especially the ending with the fire spinning. Staff are overall very friendly. Tickets are pretty high (depends on the package) but there's a ton of stuff to do. I recommend getting there when they open to make sure you see everything, but on the other hand, each ticket allows includes 3 day admission, so coming back again is an option. Was exhausted at the end of the day.

Also, many of the employees are students of the next-door university, so tickets sales help them get an education, as well as some portion going towards research.

What a great experience. We took our 7 year old and we all had a fabulous time. It's hard to see everything in one day. Two days would be ideal for seeing it all. We can't wait to go back and explore what we missed. The luau was fun and the show "Ha" was amazing!

Extremely friendly staff and knowledgable. Always there to guide you if you are lost or give you suggestions on different activities going on.

So many things to do that it's hard to fit it all into one day. Thank goodness your pass gives you 3 day admission into the centre.

Highly recommended if you are wanting to learn more about the different Hawaiian cultures.

I really enjoyed the luau with all the storytelling and performances during dinner. We were seated with two other groups to form a party of 8. Once the luau was over we had about an hour and a half before our show started to check out the Imax show and walk through the property to take pictures. The evening show was entertaining, but very long. Plan on spending most of your day here as there's much to do.

If you go by rental car, you can fully enjoy it in half a day. For theaters from 7:30, you can enjoy admission to the park at 3pm. The show will end at 9pm so you can return to Waikiki in about an hour. Although the road was dark, there were people on the same way on the straight road, so I went back around Haleiwa.

This is the best place to visit on Oahu! You have fun, learn so much about the culture, and have delicious food. The evening show is amazing!! My kids have enjoyed it several times, from ages 1-9, but there was so much that Grandma and Grandpa liked, too.

The visit of the PCC in Laie was a great experience for us, we spent there a nice Day.
The visit of the individual villages gave us an good view in the traditions (cooking, clothing, singing and dances) of the island world of Polynesia, whereby the show on the maritime gathering place represented the Highlight.
The food Ali 'i Lu'au was rich, visually appealing and delicious, the organizational process was perfect and the staff was polite and courteous, which can be appreciated for all areas of the PCC, everywhere was a friendly, warm and pleasant atmosphere impressed us very much.
The evening show 'Breath of Life' with its music, dances, the great artists and the colorful scenery almost inspired us, so that at the end of the day we could say: We have experienced a beautiful day that will always remain in our hearts.
Mahalo the organizer!
We have already recommended the visit of the PCC to friends who are traveling to O'ahu - Hawaii this year.

Super Ambassador, Overall the experience was good ...

Super Ambassador, Overall the experience was good only because of well built traditional building and program the center offered. On the other hand, I was very disppointed at the customer service level from supervisors or older folks at the center. My group was more comfortable with English tour guide, but they forced us with Korean tour guide saying that they had shortage of English guides, which was not true. Also during tour lots of changes were communicated through those "student" guides from the center supervisors indirectly to customers, though they were right in front of us. And those supervisors did not even apologize whenever our request or activities were denied. For me from mainland US and California, that kind of customer service was very strange and rude. We saw those supervisors yelling at the "student" guides in front of us. Guys, please be professional and keep the internal struggle away from customers. Customer first.

I've told by several people that the Polynesian Culture Center has the best Polynesian show in the world. After watching it myself, I absolutely agree. In addition to the magnificent one-hour-long evening show, it has much more to offer. Many staff actually are from those Polynesian islands! The trip to Oahu is not complete without visiting the culture center!

About Polynesian Cultural Center

Polynesian Cultural Center: A Journey Through the Heart of Polynesia

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a world-renowned attraction located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Voted as the #1 Oahu attraction, it brings to life the spirit of Polynesia through its six authentic Polynesian villages, luau, and evening show. The center is a non-profit organization that aims to preserve and promote the culture, arts, and traditions of Polynesia.

The center covers an area of 42 acres and features six different villages representing different islands in Polynesia - Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, Aotearoa (New Zealand), and Hawaii. Each village has its own unique architecture style and cultural practices that are showcased through interactive exhibits such as canoe rides or traditional games.

One of the highlights of visiting the center is experiencing their award-winning Ali'i Luau. This traditional Hawaiian feast features an all-you-can-eat buffet with dishes like kalua pig (roasted pig), poi (taro paste), lomi salmon (salmon salad), haupia (coconut pudding) among others. The luau also includes live music performances by local artists who showcase their talents through hula dancing or playing instruments like ukulele or guitar.

After dinner at Ali'i Luau comes Ha: Breath Of Life - a spectacular evening show that tells a story about Mana - a young boy's journey to find his place in life while discovering his heritage along the way. The show features over 100 performers who dance hula or perform fire knife dances while wearing colorful costumes that represent different cultures from across Polynesia.

Apart from these main attractions at PCC there are many other activities you can enjoy during your visit such as learning how to make leis or coconut husking demonstrations which give visitors an insight into daily life in these islands.

The center also offers educational programs for students who want to learn more about Pacific Island cultures including workshops on music & dance lessons taught by professional instructors from each village.

In addition to being an amazing tourist destination for visitors from around the world PCC also serves as an important cultural institution for locals living on Oahu island where they can learn more about their own heritage while sharing it with others too!

If you're planning a trip to Hawaii then be sure not miss out on this incredible experience at PCC!
