We enjoyed our paddle on Drakes Estaro with Lisa and Ian. They were professional and calm and made all easy. Would have loved to hear a bit more about the natural history of the place and wish we had seen a bit more wildlife, but we did enjoy the brown pelicans, two river otters, and great blue heron. And it was a wonderfully calm and calming experience. Recommended!

Great guides and coaches us even we don t have many experiences in kayaking. Detailed introduction of the gears and tips. Just that if they could provide gloves would be even better!

We did a 6-hr kayak/hiking trip. Lisa was our guide, and she was calm, knowledgeable, and supportive. The six of us in kayaks had differing abilities, but she kept us together and pointed out interesting points (wildlife, vegetation) as we went along.
We went on a night that was apparently perfect conditions. It was amazing, and surpassed all our expectations. Our guide was really knowledgeable and made the experience great fun. Highly highly recommend this.
Fantastic place for all your outdoor adventures! There are so many trips to choose from, but I highly recommend the biolumenesce kayaking trips, just be sure to check the weather, dress in layers, wear rain boots if you have them, download the map & give yourself plenty of time to arrive to meet up location!
Eight of us (4 adults, 4 kids) rented kayaks for a 3-day camp at the boat-in sites in Tomales Bay. We'd gone with Pt Reyes Outdoors on a guided trip 2 years ago and guided our own trip this time. Lorie (Laurie?) helped us plan the crossings (finding the right times that had favorable tides and winds) and planning alternate routes in case of bad weather.
Rent from Pt Reyes! Lorie is tough, but experienced and she will make sure you have a good trip.
I really appreciate the service they offer. As someone who doesn't kayak often, they provided all the equipment needed for a successful kayak trip. They offered to give me straps for my truck to travel with. They were very helpful and provided advice and suggestions for a successful kayak trip. I would absolutely rent from them again. They also have a sizeable loading area which is easy to back into.
We did an evening Kayaking tour for a group of approximately 15 people and it was great. The waters were calm, the weather was perfect, we got to see harbor seals, pelicans, and river otters. I would highly recommend this for any sized group, they equip you with everything necessary to have a comfortable, dry and fun adventure.
