Beautiful resort. Recommended even though there is now a lot of construction and renovation.

Excellent food, great service and ever so friendly people. Great place for scuba diving as well.

Plaza resort Bonaire is fine. It is one of the Van der Valk Hotel. The resort therefore has a Dutch price.
But who care s.You only live once! But Bonaire is worth it to see the slave huts. Renting a decent car a few times is the best option.In a few days drive your island around Bonaire! We have been here in May 2016. Top!

Good apartments and good diving / snorkeling opportunity!

All inclusive resort, with vacation planned by Sunwing through Trip Central. Tucan Dive Shop onsite. All staff very friendly. Rooms very large and clean.

It is the best of Bonaire excellent food, very comfortable beds, large pool and beach

Beautiful beach, nice sun beds, but we mainly came to snorkel. Great place for this, you step into the water among the fish and there is beautiful coral right in front of the beach. 10 dollars for us, because we were not staying here, but for us it was worth it. Including sun beds, access to the beach / sea, 1 drink per person. Every Wednesday a buffet BBQ in the restaurant.

Nice People, helpfull, decent food even during the lock down, New pool and bar. Had a nice time here.

The Plaza is the best resort on Bonaire. All inclusive, accommodating, and grateful to have you as a guest. The diving is fantastic. The food is wonderfully prepared by seasoned chefs. We've been here 4 timrs and each time it's better than the time before. We'll be back.

Great large rooms, very friendly and helpful people. Top location on the beach with its own reef. Recommended!

Great place.
Rooms are huge and air conditioned.
Buffet meals are varied and at night a cook to order or BBQ is offered.
5 star beach with a wonderful beach bar.
Iced coffee to die for !!!!
Lots of diving on offer. I don't dive so I can't comment on the quality .

Lovely beach quiet and beautiful sun beds. 10 dollars if you are not staying at the resort with free drink .. nice piece off the coast for snorkeling

We went here for the Mother's day brunch and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted by the service personnel with a glass of prossecco. The ambiance was nice and cosy. The restaurant is right on the water so it's quite ydillic. The brunch was tasty..it consisted of items such as Quiche Lorraine, Crab Benedict, sweet potato soup, salads, meat cuts and more. Kudos to them for making something yummy for all of us. Attached are photo's of the beautiful dessert table they made especially for Mother's day. All in all a nice experience for the price we paid. I found it to be quite cheap compared to what I've been paying at different restaurants on Bonaire.

Nothing beats a resort with the desire to be #1 in Bonaire. Even the junior suites are huge! Every room faces water. The staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The check in process is long and you will need a $300usd deposit plus a $50usd beach towel deposit. All is forgiven by the lovely new pool and direct access to the reef. The buffet was great.

Very special location, beautiful sea, wibdsurfing and surrounded by beautiful nature.

Super nice private location at Van der Valk. Right from the apartment on the beach. You can immediately put on the snorkel. There are beautiful colored fish swimming there.
The food at lunch could have been some more sandwiches. Was very fatty food. Not so healthy.
For the rest, it is wonderful to stay there and relax. Would go there again in a heartbeat.

Hotel needs to be restored but has a great location one of the best on the island

What and lapsed and unkempt gang! Certainly not the new "Van der Valk" formula as we now know in NL! For that money you have a super luxury villa on the island!

excellent diving center restaurant bar and everything you need to be happy

We went to Plaza Hotel for lunch $25 per person the quality of food was bad and there were not much to choose from, white rice, pasta, chicken wings salty as hell, tomato soup watery from can, overcooked Wahoo fish.
We were crazy hungry after swimming and decided to eat rice and salad after tasting everything else. While we were eating we started to enjoy the show, more hungry people were coming you should see the expression on their faces.We had a choice never go back there again but this people stayed at the hotel and bought a meal plan the disappointment and frustration was in the air.
One lady started to take pictures of the food trays to put it on Google .Which I think is right because if people paid money they should get a better service .

Relax. Good rooms and delicious dishes in the restaurant.

It has not been renovated, it looks damaged despite its excellent location
