Huge rooms, good food (everything must be shipped in), fun bars, new pool should be awesome, kitty cat adorable, attentive staff. Don't count on satellite TV. You're going to be cut off. No American sports, but you're there to go play. Internet ok but feed controlled. Definitely not same as in US. Just so you know.

Dilapidated and poorly maintained resort. Bad food, bad rooms, no entertainment, bad WiFi.

Resort is being renovated, which is logical because everything is 30 years old and badly maintained. Owner thinks people can still please with a renovated swimming pool. Not us, super bad, food really drama. A soup kitchen in Swahili offers better food than this.

Conclusion, book at Delfins, Harbor Village, or at least somewhere else, because you don't want to stay here

Second time at this resort. Nice central location close to the airport. Pool area was under construction so they put in a temporary pool so they get a ding on one star. Food was decent, some was really really good, other dishes were decent. Staff is really good, Quincy is one really amazing staff member, that man goes above and beyond on customer service.

Don't go here! The resort is badly run down. There was renovation during our stay, unfortunately that was not reported with our reservation. The trucks with material are just not over your feet.
The pool was gross and rundown. They were working on this, so as an interim solution an inflatable pool was dug in, yes seriously.

There is no water pressure during peak hours. Showering or washing your hands is therefore not possible, or you need 3 drops.

Food and drink is ok, just don't take ultra all inclusive. This costs 15euro pp per day. You can then get all foreign drinks without surcharge, even though the staff drains enough drinks under the bar. Money beating. Luxury beer? It is better to give a dollar loose than to have yourself lit up with that band.

Don't go for the animation either, there isn't any.

Several times we have expressed our displeasure but they do not participate. Expensive paid for a worthless accommodation. For this price there are plenty of other beautiful resorts on the island.

Resort in decline. No fun and there is an atmosphere of a retirement home. At the cocktail bar it was terrible. Staff not friendly and the movie they were shooting really couldn't. If you enjoy a terrace, you don't want to look after a bloody film where the limbs flew around. The restaurant was cozy but the buffets are much less than what we are used to from the nl of the falcon hotels. We found disturbing that the waiters drink beer during their work. People go somewhere else. This is confirmed by several people on the island.

Nice Resort w/ Great House Reef

Nice Resort w/ Great House Reef
We joined a group of friends traveling with our local dive shop to Bonaire and stayed a week at Plaza Resort. This was our first visit to this great dive island. Our suite was huge & very comfortable. They have a rather large property & it was well cared for, though a few outskirt areas look like they get very little use of late. We spent most our time diving, eating or sleeping. We did 12 boat dives with Tuocan Diving, the on site dive shop. They did a great job. And, 12 shore dives from the house reef, which were all very good dives. There s a beach bar, a small bar w/ limited daily food menu & a buffet restaurant with a limited drink menu. The food was mostly average, though good with a few really good fish & steak offerings. The service at the restaurant was mostly average with a singular outstandingly poor exception and she was assigned to our group almost every night. Overall we definitely recommend and will return.

Stray on March 29-31.Most horrible place. Rude, ignorant, not helpful in Covid Situation. Hotel said we give you only 50% money back due to Covid. We still not see our money back. Not its end of May. We dialing with this since mid march. Management and front desk trying to rid of you as soon as possible. Avoid this place if you can. Very disappointing experience.

Spent 10 days at this wonderful resort. The room, grand master suite, was spectacular; food scrumptious; staff super friendly; access to shore diving incredible; amenities extremely helpful; and the dive shop TOP NOTCH! Highly recommend!

Although we had a very nice, elegant room, the room was falling apart a little.
You could choose all inclusive, (I did), and it was ALL inclusive. You could get unlimited drinks and unlimited food.
There was no dress code at the restaurant. Many people went in the restaurant only wearing bikini's or swimsuits.

Been at this resort twice a day and enjoyed the beach.
Difficult to get into the water, water shoes definitely needed! After this you will be rewarded with a beautiful underwater world.
Day pass including beach bed and a drink at the beach bar, $ 15

TLDR: Way too many leaky o rings. Do not stay here if you have lactose intolerance.

So many bad o-rings. We replaced so many of the o rings on their tanks. Literally every day we had to replace at least one. People in our group lost dives because they drove out to a site and discovered their tanks were leaking really fast. One tank we didn't replace the o ring on, we told the Scuba staff about it including telling them the tank number. Saw it later filled with the original torn o ring that leaked several hundred psi during my dive.

They repeatedly promised me they could accommodate my dietary restrictions. They consistently failed. They couldn't even answer which foods had dairy in them. They offered to have a cook meet me at every meal to answer questions about the buffet foods. That happened exactly once. The cook assured me that the oatmeal was dairy free. I said that that's great because I know some places put milk in their oatmeal. She seemed surprised and said, "You can't have milk?!? They just told me you can't have dairy." I had to repeatedly ask for non ranch dressing for my sad salads. I basically lived on French fries, sad salads, fruit, alcohol and coffee. I lost weight staying at an all inclusive resort.

I just received a generic email from the resort about the survey I took time to fill out accurately. The only non generic part of the email was my name which they got wrong. I'm apparently a "Mr." now according to them.

Completely well cared for.

Completely well cared for.
Rooms are neat.
Please note, bring a 3-pole adapter.
The pool does not know whether it is properly maintained in terms of hygiene.
Sometimes an iguana also swims in it
Also around the swimming pool, one must also take into account the faeces of the iguanas.
Often these excrements lie longer than a day.
The area around the resort is very beautiful. What I miss that there are no water tap points to refill your bottle
The food is particularly good. But if you want to sit on the sea side, you will be attacked by cheeky birds. Who also want to eat from your plate.
The house reef is quite dead and there are little or no colors to be discovered. However, there is plenty to see beautiful fish.
Be careful with heavy suitcases, you have to
a short walk and also a footbridge. My own suitcase had to
Carry to the 1st floor over a corner staircase.
The room is wonderfully cooled.
Watch out for the small mosquitoes because they sting and itchy.
If you have rented a car, they will usually come and pick you up and you will be taken away after returning the car.

What a fantastic resort.

What a fantastic resort.
The rooms are wonderfully spacious. Plenty of cupboard space, a table with 4 chairs, 2 armchairs and a super large bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet and bidet.
Beach towels and minibar available. Also TV with Dutch channels. Due to time difference I never wore it.
The resort is currently being renovated, but you will hardly notice it. It is now the turn of the swimming pool and new beach bar, but until then they have a super cute temporary swimming pool and of course the sea right outside the door.
From what I've seen, it will be incredibly beautiful.
Restaurant De Tipsy Seagull also has a good buffet and life cooking with various dishes.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very good. Regular live music during dinner. Singer or trumpet player.
I will definitely come back to see the result of the swimming pool and beach bar and also the new main building in a year and a half.
On Thursday evening Salsa class at the Coconut Crash Bar.
The sea has beautiful coral, which attracts many beautifully colored fish. Barracuda, balloon fish, zebra fish, rays and various other fish from the movie Nemo swim past you. Even turtles swam by.
Usually go snorkeling early in the morning at 7am. Nice and quiet and a lot to see.
There is a shop and a casino in the main building.
There is a diving school and scooter rental available.
On Saturday we made a wonderful trip with a number of guests from the resort to Klein Bonaire. There we first snorkeled and swam with turtles. Then drank wine in the sea and then enjoy a BBQ with dishes in abundance such as a delicious tender tournedos, prawns in garlic, tuna, chicken satay, delicious salads and tasty drinks.

The resort is the only all inclusive on the island of Bonaire. My wife and I came down for our 20th anniversary to stay here. We had an awesome time. As far as all inclusives go, the food and drinks were good. But of course we went to Bonaire for the diving! The house reef was one of our better dives on the island. The dive shop at the resort was very accommodating. I would recommend staying here to anyone, but I would also recommend getting out for a couple of meals outside the resort while your there as well.

Nice place, great renovations (still more in the works, too). The new pool is awesome. Food is pretty good, same with drinks (although most beers are just 7.5 oz). Night life and entertainment are a bit lacking, same with activities other than diving and snorkeling during the day. Rooms are large, with comfortable beds. Dive shop on site is awesome (Tucan). If you're a diver, this is a great resort. Shore dives are great here too.

We were so excited to go to Bonaire this weekend but we are told from the governor of California that we need to shelter in place indefinitely. Bonaire has restricted our flight and the general manager still refuses to provide a credit for our involuntary cancellation. Incredible!

This is a personal preference, because I do not like the massive tourist locations. The rooms are very large and clean, but the dinner was not OK. Because it is an all inclusive resort there is a buffet. But when I got my food the rice and meat were overcooked and because of the rechauds under the food it was baked to the side of the metal. The breakfast was good with enough choice, but be aware of the seagulls! If you leave your table for under 1 minute, they will steal your food! The diving school is also on the premises and there is a private beach and tennis court. You can also rent scooters, which is nice to explore the island. Overall it is OK, but just as I mentioned earlier, not my choice to stay here but because my employer places us here.

Rooms are reasonable, food decent enough, it was the service that was terrible. Slow to respond to anything, when attempting to book, weeks would go by without a reply. They literally made it hard to give them money. Next time, just AirBnB it, less hassle.
