Plaza III-The Kansas City Steak House Review

The service was all most non existing but good when it occurred . The food was not good at all the bread was the best part of the meal. For the money there are better places to go.

Classy. Work function party. Sometimes hit and miss with food. Can't go wrong with steak. Awesome! Parking sucks!

It was my boyfriends birthday last night. I decided we would give this place a try. Our waiter was Daniel. He rarely gave eye contact! When I was ordering my food he was looking out the window giving a vibe that we were wasting his time. We ordered drinks, they took forever to come out. I ordered soup but got my meal first and had to ask where my soup was. At this point i was very irritated. There was a couple sitting next to us that he kept making a lot conversation with. I didnt like my meal so I asked for the menu (which took Daniel forever to bring) to order something else. I ordered the shrimp and scallop fettuccine with an herb butter sauce. The sauce was horrible. The manager came by and mentioned there's a lot of garlic in the sauce. I felt like it was an excuse... He never came back to check on things. It was gross. To make matters worst it took forever for my next dish to come out. My boyfriend was already done with his food. I had to asked them to make it to go. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only good thing that came out from this place was my boyfriends drink. Thanks to whoever was working the bar last night. They weren't busy at all. We were one of two tables of two in Daniels area. Don't spend your time or money here because you can never get it back. The service is horrible for the amount of money you'll spend. I get better service at Town Topic. I would recommend Gas Light Grill and they have a Jazz band that preforms throughout the week!!! They have great food and service for the price!

Best happy hour on the plaza...their tenderloin skewers are amazing. Our most recent non-happy hour experience there was fabulous. We sat in the bar area where the bartender acted as our server. The food was great, way too filling, and it was a great experience. It was the first time we have ever been stopped leaving somewhere by a server to thank us for our tip =)

One of the best steakhouse in Kansas City. Their beef is some of the best available in the country. The service is always excellent and their staff is professionally trained. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Old school high quality extremely high ambience. Large rooms for large numbers of people valet parking it doesn't get any better than this in Kansas City Missouri private access from the covered parking garage with stairs that come right into the restaurant

After reading the negative reviews we still decided to have dinner at plaza 3. The restaurant was warm and the steaks were prepared as we ordered. Our waiter michael was very helpful and we look forward to returning

Nothing too special, especially for the price. I would recommend Jack Stack, instead.
