Service staff was pretty friendly, but I feel like they could have used a few more on tonight. Overall, pleasant experience, just long wait times for drinks, food, and ordering in general kept it from a 4 or 5 star rating.

We've been saying we need to check this place out for a while now. We finally went this evening and met some friends there for drinks and dinner and were disappointed. The building and outside decks are nice and my kind of atmosphere: comfortable, not too fancy, and not run down. The drinks and food were overpriced for the venue and service, I thought. My $13 burger came out and looked sad. Very thin slice of cheese and only a scant bit of lettuce, tomato, and onion to put on it. It tasted good, but not $13 good. From a similar place I'd expect $8 to $10 for that meal. None of the wait staff smiled. The vibe I got was that the customers were a burden. The experience wasn't awful, but I won't be suggesting we ever go back when deciding on places to eat or get drinks.

The patios fantastic in the sunshine with a cold beer. The prices went up I think to an unreasonable level and the service doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. But all in all I still go there with my friends.

My friend and I went in on a Friday when it was open until 2 am or so their website said but at 12:30 we were given a check and the lights were turned off. The server was great and the food fine but as a customer that had never dined there before I sure didn't feel they wanted me to return and I will definitely not.

Great views, great drinks and great atmosphere. Good music on occasion as well. Lots of TVs, good spot for a game.

Sundays in the spring and summer it's swarmed by some of the softest, most suburban "bikers" you'll ever see. (Fortunately they're not usually there the rest of the week because it's back to reality for the posers). Besides that it's a cool spot

This place is an awesome party bar. Live music on the huge deck and a great "River Ice House" feel. This place reminds me of the big ice house bars in the Texas hill country. It's right on the river,so... a great place after tubing on the Platte obviously. Not 5 stars for a few reasons, food is good but not awesome and they charge like 4 dollars for an iced tea or soda. I don't mind paying for alcohol but brown water shouldn't cost that much. We went for lunch one day and it would've been relatively cheap if not for the priciest iced tea I've ever had.

Took our kids and asked for a healthy side option for the sides. Was offered a side salad but later told it would be a $3.75 charge. So they charged me $6.25 for two crappy chicken fingers and the extra $3.75 for the salad. To make matters worse, our waiter was clueless. Like maybe it was his first day. He did nothing to resolve the situation... Overall beyond disappointed and most likely won't be back. If you like fried food that is mediocre at best and booze galore you might enjoy this place. As for me, not impressed at all.

Sitting on the patio with a drin, large trees and live music.
We just wish they had a better cook and food menu.

Prices are pretty high for what you get for food and drink. Specials are 9.95 typically and sometimes not worth it. Other times, the special is a great way to go.
Still, Littleton's answer to Cheers.

We came recently for a birthday. We had made a RSVP, which we confirmed a day or so before the event. When we arrived, they had lost the RSVP, or accidentally given away the table, we are not sure what exactly happened. The first hostess who greeted us handed us off on someone else while they tried to figure out what to do.
The second person left standing out on the patio to find us a table, as it was busy that night, so they left us standing up near the band.
Ok, no big deal, we can hang out for a minute while they figure this out. So I flagged down a passing server (we were right by the server station) to see if we can just order a drink while we wait. She seemed confused, and when I asked her for whatever wheat style beer they might have, she responded that she "doesnt drink beer" so she didn't really know what to offer me. (This person was not a teenager.) She handed us off on someone else to get a round of beers (while we stood there waiting).
The staff finally asked two people at a table to move so we could sit. I am not sure if they were simply re-arranging things or if that party had been given our table or took it while ignoring the RSVP sign on it, I never found out.

We were then able to sit and order more drinks and dinner. Everything was fine after that. The band was great and we had a nice evening.

I understand that weird stuff happens when restaurants get busy. I do think servers at that particular restaurant should know their beer. I also think that if a group is left standing high and dry while they are waiting for a table or any other snafu, for heaven's sake offer them a drink!

We will be back because it is a nice patio with lovely shade and we enjoy the live music.

I love this place. The view is wonderful!!! Atmosphere is so relaxing. The drinks are great!!! And staff friendly. So why 3-5 stars? In the last 2 years I've noticed the food has gone from soooooo good to, blah whatever. I hope they come up with better dishs
Im sure ill be back just to get drunk out in the sun again. One of the best decks in denver.

Good atmosphere, but our food took an hour and a half! Really! An hour and a half!! My wife just told the guy to bring a go-to box when the food finally came out. Plan on staying awhile if you go to eat here. Or just have drinks.

Very spicy, prices too high. Loud atmosphere. Stood at door, waiting to be seated for 10 minutes (on crutches). Finally flagged someone down to help because staff kept walking by. No greeting or acknowledgement from anyone. Would NOT recommend.

I've been to the PRG numerous times over the years and it's a mystery to me how it draws such crowds. Maybe it's that impressive deck or the regulars who after years of patronizing the place, don't know any better. My recent experience illustrated PRG's indifferent, "take it or leave it" attitude.

I arrived at 6P, the first of what was to be a party of 10. Looking for someone to help us with a seating list and finding none, I saw a message on a chalkboard stating that guests were on their own and should stake out their own table. We did, and found a table that would do until the entire group arrived.

Shortly after sitting down, a waiter came by and informed us the table was "reserved." I pointed out the incongruity between being told to be on your own and a reserved table in the same establishment, but was shrugged off. At a nearby table, a couple overheard our discussion and offered theirs, as they were preparing to leave. We did so and until the rest of our party arrived and we pulled over the still unoccupied, "reserved" table with some chairs to join ours. The waiter then came over and told me I wasn't supposed to do that to which I reminded him of PRG's policy: I was merely getting my own table. He claimed I was wrong about the policy and then walked away. I figured he was either poorly trained in customer service, didn't care or both and wondered how long the "reserved" table would have remained unoccupied before we claimed it for our own. Such a vacancy is a cardinal sin in the competitive restaurant/bar business, where turnover dictates.

I won't be returning here again. The food is nothing stellar or inventive and when coupled with such indifferent service, you can do a whole lot better in the immediate area. The new Breckenridge Brewery is right down Santa Fe which has knockout service, food and drinks. Merle's in downtown Littleton is a vastly superior choice as are a whole host of competing establishments.

Bar service and ice cold delicious beer is excellent, but the staff drinks at the bar after shift- loud and obnoxious-same guy every time I go to enjoy the beer. I ll bring earplugs next time

I frequent this location for their remarkable patio and diverse crowd. The bartenders and servers are fun and FUNNY! Live music on the weekends makes for fun outdoor dancing. Happy hour specials are good for both drinks and snacks. I recommend the nachos or green chili but beware of the spicy jalapenos, I didn't know they came that hot!

Got continually harassed by security because I was making a phone call in my vehicle. They wouldn't leave me alone and told me to leave, even though I wasn't causing any problems and I was just minding my own business talking on the phone. I showed and proved to them that I was not doing anything wrong and it didn't matter. They chased me away and refused to allow me to spend my money at their establishment. I'm not sure what kind of company operates that way, but apparently they do.

Great atmosphere, large menu selection, food was good, service was exceptional and good location. Available seating outside, by the bar inside and general dining areas. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.
