Deck is always awesome..food...nothing great ..same old same old

Really good food and great patio. Staff were all wearing masks and friendly.

So below WAS our previous review... We were here at 2:30 on a purfect Friday afternoon and there wasn't Motorcycle in the parking lot. First of all what on earth would posess you to go from fresh made corn chips to chips tha come in a box and are so bad the box would taste better and have a better texture. There's and old saying about if it ain't broke... well you sure have "fixed it". The menu you had was perfect and the food delicous. We could bring a group of 15 people and everyone single person would be happy and love their meal. What on earth would posess you to hire a "CHEF" for a bar and grill? He's ruined the shrimp tacos (a huge favorite among seafood lovers and the gluten free), the green chili which was one of our two favorites along with the whole dang menu. You guy's tried bringing a different cook in few years ago and just about closed the place down. Didn't you learn anything? Let us know when you get things back to the way they were. We've referred dozens of people here... NOT ANY MORE.

We've been going here forever and we've never been disappointed in the food or the service. It's like Cheer's where "everybody knows your name and your always glad you came". The shrimp tacos are beyond awesome and the smothered chicken burritos are the best anywhere in town!. Love it any time of day, and any time of year but especially the warm Colorado evenings. And a walk on the Platt Path afterword's. P.S. It's so much better than that brewery place down the street in every way!

We went there for a bon voyagefor our fellow Co -worker. They accommodated a large group with ease and the staff was fun!
Great Food and good crowd!! Poncho (the owner) even came over and greeted us.

Had to get up three times to get napkins silverware and salt and pepper. But the food is really good. And it's a really nice setting Outdoors.

Decent service in a rustic atmosphere. We've only been once because as vegetarians we weren't super impressed. I'd love to come back to check out some live music.

Platte River is always a good place for a nice happy hour on the patio. The drinks are good as is their food. Pick from Mexican, burgers, appetizers, everything is pretty tasty. The view is awesome, too.

This place was way bigger than it looks like it would be from the road. Cool vibe for a nice summer day with the extensive patio. Only stopped in for a beer so can't say anything for the food.

Had a great time out, was a blast listening to live music again! Food and service was good. The reason I'm only going 3 stars is due to my wife and I left our to go box on the table while we said bye to friends in the band and when I went back the box was gone and thrown out. After a 100 dollar tab and people telling the server we were talking to the band you would think they would've left it so we could go back and grab it...guess not! ! Whole sandwich wasted, not alright. I still work for my money too!!

Best breakfast burrito in town. Great management and staff. Outside seating is great in warm weather.

This place is so hit or miss. The hits keep me coming back, the misses allow me to check out other great places.

Poncho, the owner is one hell good guy. The food is above what is expected of bar food. You have to try the fried fish tacos.

This is a biker bar. We didn't know and brought our 6 mo baby and he wasnt too happy about it. We ended up having to sit inside to get away from the loud rumbles and let's face it, the ambience we were looking for was outside on the awesome patio or inside but in their open air seating. The food was just ok. The service was also just ok. It'd be fun to go back, sit on the patio and partake in some of their great drink specials!

Server's confused about which order goes where. Took 45min for margaritas and served to wrong table. Finally 5 min later received and still paid full price. Hum

I d give 2.5 stars. Do not order chicken strips dry and so over salted. Burger were not bad but overpriced for quality, Came for a concert the was supposed to start at 7 the opener didn t start till 815 the main artist didn t start till 925. Bring a lawn chair for general admission you are in a parking lot.

Always a great spot for a beer and a quick bite to eat! Fast service as always.

Tony our waiter was very attentive and awesome. The portions work really good on the food was excellent.

I ve been coming to this place since I was young and my parents brought me. The food is always great, the service is amazing and the ambiance on the back patio is my favorite. Bree was our server this last time. She and her team were wonderful. Probably one of my favorite parts of this place is they all work together as a team. I don t know the names of the men who helped out, but they were great as well.

Chile rellenos were really good. Great value for money!

Went there for the last day of my high school reunion. Loved the atmosphere class is going to continue having the reunion here yearly. Will order lunch next time

Unbeatable patio and mountain view as right next to the Platte, tons of parking, good bar food, wide beer and booze selection, staff is always rad.

The food is decent. The drinks not that strong. However, the view is amazing.

Great service our server was so friendly and so kind I haven't been in so long. Their food is phenomenal. I left my credit card and called and got it back ASAP. I appreciate the honesty. Can't wait to be back

Drinks were great. Music was fun. Food served cold....tacos. and very mediocre at that.

Good staff. Lackluster atmosphere. Kind of a lowend version of what was Caldonias in Aurora.

Epic patio - even on a Thursday afternoon... Killer Beer selection and Burgers with plenty of other options on the menu.

Good burgers and a wide range of beers and drinks. I went with the house margarite and the grilled chili burger. Both were quite good. Will be back.

We dropped in to Platte River Bar & Grill after a tubing trip on Saturday. I left briefly to drop a group off and when I returned I was told by my group of 15 that they were accused of trying to dine and dash. The servers were rude, the bartender had some sort of personal vendetta against my friend, the manager was nasty, and although I joined late, I was not asked for a food or drink order. As a former server/bartender/trainer, I am disgusted at the treatment. We tube the Platte several times a year and usually pull out at Breckinridge Brewery, this time we gave Platte River Grill our business, and that mistake will not happen again.

I thought it was great. Not crowded. Happy hour food was good. Going again.

What an AMAZING place and EXCELLENT staff.. and the margarita is FANTABULOUS.
Karin was a wonderful waitress, great follow-up was very concerned about or well being and that we were happy! Great selection of Music, food was served hot and was delicious!

Very nice atmosphere,Excellent spot and reasonably priced. .Excellent cocktails, well executed. Highly recommended.

As always the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. Staff and patrons were very friendly, and the band was fun.

You won't find a more badass bar in Colorado! Huge deck that overlooks the mountains and close to bike trails for you riders. Plenty of motorcycle parking. Amazing margaritas! Food ain't bad either.

Dinner at the Platte with family was great, fajitas were awesome, burgers, the queso dip for appetizers is awesome good service great place for a large group.

Had a Blast!
From Golden Tee to the BBQ Chicken wrap and beers, i had a great time with the guys. The staff is always friendly and kept our beers full.
They had 2 Christmas parties going on at the same time and we were still taken care of.

Great food and drinks the people rock love this place

Always great!!! Would be Perfect if Poncho were there...

We decided to try out happy hour there and when we arrived we were super impressed with with the patio and our server was excellent and sweet. We arrived around 345 on a Friday and was happy with the spacing of tables thinking they would sit every other one. With in an hour I realized that several tables were allowed smoking and the tables were filling up, so much so we had to move our seats because people were basically sitting in our laps. We also noticed people being allowed in without masks and were up and down without them.

We ended up feeling super uncomfortable. From the several tables being allowed to smoke, to non enforcement of masks, to the incredibly drunk people by 4:30 yelling about how the place has become pu$$y .. we will not be back. Which is really sad because it would be a place we love. We appreciated our server, she was awesome which is what the one star is for.

Love their deck. Food is decent, but could step it up a notch to make it great.
