My wife and I purchased a Plantation Home in 2018. Beautiful property that we both love. I'm happy to give PH 5stars for build quality.
Not so happy about after sales support however. November 2020 we suffered a massive hail storm which damaged our roof. Now I know PH is not responsible for damage repairs, however, they issue you with a home warranty.....which becomes void in the event of damage!!! .
Suggestion PH, start handling insurance/warranty claims on your product!! Brand new revenue stream, and original owners maintain their home warranty.

We have used Plantation Homes twice now, both have been great experiences. Excellent trades, well organised site supervisors and good quality options and choices. Would use again!
Honestly, how do I start. From the second we walked I to the show Homes at Helensvale, we were amazed by the professionalism and service from Sam and Savannah. We had already chosen another plan with a different builder with a "free" pool, but were blown away by these guys and the quality and choice of plans and show homes as well as the great service and choice at the colour selection meeting.
Well, then came the build process... truly amazing, our site manager Ryan and Danielle from head office literally couldn't have done anything extra if they wanted to. The whole process was just so easy the whole way through.
Now I'm not the easiest customer, I knew what I wanted, when I wanted it and wanted it on time.
The end quality of the house, I don't even have words for.
I would have no hesitation in building again or recommending anyone to build with Plantation Homes.
We have just purchased a new home at Rothwell from Martin Gould and we could not be happier. Martin was very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our new home is beautiful. Also Cameron, site supervisor was very helpful.
After being in our home 14 months our floor planks are lifting at the seams and bubbling. Upon contacting plantation they sent Carpet Call out to check the issue and it was found there was no water leakage and no installation error.
I then spoke with Frank who informed me it is not a builders fault and therefore not their problem. Now we are going to have to replace our floors not even 18 months after morning in, costing thousands because of poor attention to detail.
Not happy with the service provided after they have sold the property, overall I would go elsewhere where they will take care of their customers concerns instead of refusing to offer help.
UPDATE: Plantation have contacted me and have fixed the more pressing issues and was done in a timely manner. There are minor things to be looked at again at the 12 month inspection period. Because of the swift response in organising of the rectifications I have changed my rating.
Built twice with Plantation, second time extremely bad experience with the end result. This will be the last time I build with them. Large list of problems. BEWARE they will palm you off after handover. Used to be very good builders a few years ago but now quality is atrocious.
Skirting boards bowing, dishwasher leaking causing floors to pop and cabinetry to swell, very bad paint/patchwork, white paint drops on timber staircase. List goes on - none have been fixed and have been told to engage my home insurance. Most problems arose right after handover.
Be very wary building with Plantation. Spoken with 2 of my neighbours who also built with them and they have had the same bad experiences.
I am currently building with Plantation homes and to date have had an incredibly easy experience particularly given how busy they are due to the large influx of builds attributed to Home builder. Notably my Sales Consultant Emma was absolutely incredibly. She was patient, personable and incredibly professional. My administration contact Rebecca has also been incredibly efficient, patient and made every effort to make the process getting to build easy. A huge thank you to both of these incredible women.
Horrible brisbane colour selection day!
The sales are very warm and great service however, after we paid $1000 deposit, we had been arranged a colour selection tour, it just a horrible day. We had the appointment on 1st May, 2021 It was a Saturday, We are both very happy to be there start to look at our inclusion, and there are there staff in house, We got about 4 groups. The sales gave us a 5min intro, then said because of COVID they can't be with us, we need you look at our self for 1hr. We have no idea how to difference them, and the staffs are just seat there, not offering any help. We had to go back the reception as ask them questions.
There is a female staff that day, she has no professional knowledge about their product, keep go back to ask another staff! I had go go back to ask question for more then 5 times. And she doesn't even know what the difference between different carpet and timber floor!
If they really care about COVID, why they didn't wear mask? and didn't even mentions about rules for avoid immediate touch.
They even said their coffee machine has colesed because they won't provide milk.
Then why your sales keep offering, you think we has paid the deposit, then we will definitely not leaving?
This is a horrible experience, no help at all!
