Don't trust making a reservation! Poor customer care.

I wish I could write about the food I had, but the service was so bad I did not even get to eat here. My wife and I planned a nice dinner on the water, so we made a reservation specifically for an outdoor table for 8:15. After driving an hour, we arrived to have the hostess tell us that seating is first come first serve and we would need to wait about 40 minutes for an outdoor table. I asked to speak to the manager who said hotel guests get preferential seating in spite of reservations. We were very hungry and did not want to wait longer, so we left (and my date night with my wife ended up at Jimmy John's).

He gave us his business card. so I contacted him the next day expecting that he was planning to make things right by compensating us in some way. Instead, the manager replied to my e-mail telling me that he would not compensate us and pointed out that there is no restaurant in the city that would hold an outdoor table for a reservation (if so, than why did he let me make the reservation to begin with?).

This is a far different experience than I had at Carrabba's the other night when the server forgot about us for 5 minutes and the manager immediately came to our table to offer free drinks to make up for the service.

Beautiful interior with outdoor seating overlooking the river. Service is okay, beer and food selections are pretty week (too many IPAs and not many meals options). The food was visually appealing and quite palatable although considerably higher in prices than most restaurants in the area. Not sure why they sit people right next to one another when the entire place is pretty much empty and have the music cranked up so loud that I have to hear the people using raised voices at one another at the table next to me to talk over the music.

We took a last minute trip over from Detroit to celebrate our anniversary. Cute hotel and convenient restaurant on site. There was a little mishap with the waiter not putting our order in and taking over almost 90 mins for our food. While I was quite upset in the moment, the server fessed up and the management made it right. Just by their attempt at keeping a happy customer, they still get a good rating.... Mistakes happen. Food was delicious!

Food is delicious and staff are phenomenally courteous. Everyone from the manager to the chefs and wait staff compliment the superb food. Excellent and cost friendly option for Sunday brunch in southwest Michigan- Benton Harbor/ St. Joseph.

Wonderful place to relax with a great view of the water. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. The food was delicious. Word of caution, the fries are addictive. Don't try one if you're not prepared to devour the whole basket!
