Amazing! Great service, quick seating and quick food. Walking distance to Century Link and Pike's Place. Delicious breakfast and everything on the menu looked good coming out of the kitchen. Cannot reccomend enough!

Awesome waitress, hash browns were over cooked but she got me more. The sour cream had turned quite aggressively though, and the kitchen didn't notice it until I sent it back.
It's a diner so it's typical diner fare. The portions aren't too big, the pancakes are bigger than my head, and they have speedy service accompanied by excellent customer service.
Excellent example of an old school diner. Has the vibe and the staff that have seen it all. Right by the viaduct in pioneer square. Awesome lunch spot for a heavy but cheap lunch as well as breakfast. #breakfastallday #pancakes
My first time here but for sure not my last. Our server was so very friendly. My wife has a limited diet and our server was very helpful pointing out items on the menu. The food was so good too. Looking forward to our next visit.
I stumbled upon this Diner while walking aimlessly around downtown Seattle. What a perfect find! I had one of the best omelet's I've ever seen. The coffee is spot on and the service has been perfected. This place was busy with breakfast goers at 10:30 on a Tuesday! I love that!!! I felt like my goofy touristy persona was welcomed into a local gem.
Breakfast was amazing and quick! Wonderful environment.
I was so happy with breakfast that I decided to try lunch. The food was ok, but the diet coke didn't taste very good (I suspect a lack of syrup), so I drank water instead. After the meal, I asked to be not charged for the unconsumed drink. I was told "There is nothing wrong with our diet coke, because nobody has ever complained before but I'll give you the money back because you're unhappy about it".
Just one of those experiences that leaves a bad taste in your mouth....
I've been here before and the service nor the food never changes; it's awesome! From the 1960's style decorative floor, bar area, tables, and chairs to the pop culture art display on the walls (paintings, clocks, photos, and old newpaper clippings) its an immersive experience. The food I got was the 3 egg combo with Hash browns and toast (I got the sourdough). It was so good and it arrived in timely fashion. The java is a very medium roast with great fresh flavor, comforting me in the Seattle overcast day (No wonder prospectors love their coffee before that harsh wintery trail hike into Alaska on the hunt for gold) which is reminiscent of the days of the 19th century. All around great, warm service with a smile and they are so busy at times but theynhave great attitudes. The people who work here genuinely care about their field of career. I will keep coming back!!!
Great food. Very Funky! The place fills up quickly for breakfast so either get there as they open or expect a short wait for a table. WORTH IT! YUMMMMM!
Real good real food. Bacon and egg breakfast, good coffee, and great service. If you are in pioneer square and are tire of tofu served in tears, this is your stop.
Love Planet Java. I usually go for breakfast on the weekends. The staff is so warm and friendly. The decor is so busy, but in a good way. I'd recommend stopping by if you are in the Pioneer Square area and looking for a diner.
Delicious little diner with super staff. I quickly became a regular on the weekends and I love that I have a place where my order is remebered. Ive never had to worry about the quality or taste.
I like the atmosphere and the waitress. The food was okay. First impression was great. Bathrooms were a bit smelly but it was an okay in cleaning perspective. I ordered the California omelette and it was good!
Delicious breakfast with quick service! We tried French toast and hot chocolate, both of which very yummy! I really enjoyed the 70\80s ambiance in the entire diner.
Coffee cup always filled. Hash browns crispy but moist. Got in there before 10am and place was almost full. By the time we left, there was a line up out the door.
Very solid, no-frills breakfast. Exactly what I needed when I just wanted some eggs and French toast without all the extra artisanal nonsense. Blazing fast service and smiling waitstaff.
The Diner is an old fashioed Diner, booths, stools, jukeboxes, and all the knicky knacky decorations. The restrooms have chalk boards for wall coverings and plenty of chalk. The food is good old fashioned greasy style including all the breakfast favorites. Coffee was ok and the service was fine.Parking in this area is difficult and pricy,do read all signage! Seattle parking authorities don't play.
Like stepping back in time a bit to a place where cell phones are set aside for good coffee, food, service and conversation. Delicious, comfortable and a definite "we will be back!"
Fun little diner with great, fast service! Food is exactly what you would expect. Good spot to grab breakfast or lunch before heading over to Bainbridge
Perfect traditional American breakfast spot tucked in Pioneer Square. Tasty food comprised in a straight forward, what you would expect menu. Patty, Curtis and Ashley serve up the dishes with a smile.
Greeted as soon as we walked through the door, staff are very friendly and attentive. Music and atmosphere are awesome! Food is delicious. Will for sure be back next time we come to Seattle.
The breakfast was amazing!!! We got our food super fast and the portions were huge (even the bacon/sausage). The atmosphere was fun as well and it was an overall wonderful experience.
This place is overrated! The pancakes were undercooked. The coffee was a shame to Seattle's brand. The sandwich was disappointing. Perhaps it's a time to look at (one of the hundred) wall clocks and realize that it's not 1970s anymore. Quality is the name of the game!
I quite enjoy this small slice of Americana in the Pioneer Square area of Seattle. I tend to opt for breakfast every time, and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the food just hits home. The omelettes are fluffy and buttery, and I'd really love to know how they do it with the consistency that they do. The chicken fried steak was one of the best I've had in some time. If you enjoy diners like I do, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
We came just before the seahawks game on a Sunday. The atmosphere was so relaxing and most of the crowd inside were fans going to the game but came in for a bite to eat. The service was great even when they were packed with busy customers they were very nice and helped us with drinks until our food came out. It was very busy but who wouldn't want to go to this diner that has some of the best pancakes that I have ever ate. They were busy but had the best attitudes they are a staple for the Seattle experience. Love this place!
