Oh my gosh all the girls who work there are so sweet. Every time I go in they are always so friendly and cheerful! I love walking into this place. Not to mention the amazing workouts in the Hotworx. Hot Pilates kicks my butt every time!

I called today and spoke with Brianna. I asked if she could tell me about your one month unlimited plan, as I was going on vacation in 4 weeks. She asked if I would come in she would explain the plans and give me a free tan. I asked if she could at least tell me something about the plan & cost. She said there were several plans and I would need to come in. I again asked, "can't you just give me some information on the phone?" She said she was busy with a customer and I need to come in. I think that is NOT how you handle inquiries. If she really was busy, why not take my number and call me back?

I bought a membership several months ago and have been very happy with this place. I bought the whole spa package and found it to be a great value. I have never had to wait for a tanning bed or use, my favorite, the Andullation therapy massage table. I have tried everything for my bad back and this vibrating heated table was a great discovery.

I never call ahead of time, I just drop in before or after my workouts and I'm in and out quickly. I'm sure as the weather warms up and people start flooding the place to get their tan on I may need to make an appointment to avoid waiting. I think I can handle it.

One of the main reasons I appreciate this place is the staff doesn't make you feel like your imposing on them. They are constantly moving to keep the place clean and prepped for the next customer. Brenden, the manager, is very helpful in understanding how to get the most out of each piece of equipment and is a very friendly guy.

I look forward to going here everyday, the beds are making beautiful change to my skin and fast! Breana is such a pleasure to see and hear every single time. I could be having a bad day and she makes it better by simply being her positive, upbeat and warming self! She really makes me feel rejuvenated upon leaving. Thanks breana

I have psoriasis and have tried so many creams, ointments and steroid shots and nothing at all worked!!! I started doing red light therapy 3 times per week until it cleared and now I hop in once a week for 15 minutes and no psorasis.

I love Planet Beach in Brentwood! I have been goin...

I love Planet Beach in Brentwood! I have been going here for years. I did the strongest, stand-up bed for 3 months before my wedding and was extremely dark! Now that my wedding is over, I stick to the mystic tans so I don't ruin my skin. Planet Beach in Brentwood has BY FAR the BEST mystic tan in the area. It's far better than Planet Tan. The mystic spray leaves me dark without any streaks. I love this tanning spa; it's clean, great employees, never a line, and has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Planet Beach!

Brianna is great, super friendly and helpful. That's pretty much the only positive thing I can say. Most of my complaints are regarding the maintenance of the equipment. I saw the owner a few times a month, but I'm not sure what he did there because he sure wasn't fixing things. When I signed up in January, the lid on the hydration machine wouldn't stay up, he told me he was fixing it next week. When my membership ended in June, it was still not fixed. The top lights on the slim pod, which I had used every day, went out months ago. They gave me 3 different explanations for why they didn't fix it, the last excuse being that they had to order a part and it was taking a couple months to get there. Whatever. My biggest complaint is that they don't change their tanning bulbs. I complained to Brianna a few times that I went there 5-6 days a week and was hardly tan at all. And I always used their strongest tanner, the stand up (level 3). She gave me some nonsense about having to use the level 1 and 2 beds once in a while, so my melatonin wouldn't get used to the same bed and I not tan; again, ridiculous. I am tall so one day I looked up at the top of the bulbs in the stand up tanner. There was so much dust and dirt up there, you can tell they hadn't been changed in probably a year. I asked Brianna how often they changed their bulbs and she said they changed them when they went out! The last place I tanned at when I lived in NY, the bulbs got changed every 3 months, and I got a great tan there. I was able to get out of my contract because I told them I was moving, then I signed up at Planet Tan in Antioch (they have a Brentwood location too FYI). After one week I was SO much darker than I ever got at Planet Beach. Planet Tan is a bit pricey but I love them. So my advice, don't sign up at Planet Beach. The maintenance sucks, and I think all the owner cares about is making a buck.

I Called over the phone asking a few questions about what type of salon this is compared to any other tanning salon because I thought PlanetBeach had "spa" and whatever else not just all about tanning. Speaking w one of the employees "breanna" was just strange. Instantly I thought to myself this girl does not know how to talk to people, un friendly, and was not to educateated about Planet Beach at all. The way she spoke to me was just weird. I was weirded out and literally hung up cause I didn't even know how to talk to this girl when she didn't kno a dam thing. I am completely Un-interested in ever stepping foot in that place. Then I had spoken to the owner "Kevin" When I called back the next day because breanna did absolutely no justice when it came to answering my questions. Kevin or whatever his name is flat out rude, disrespectful, w some little attitude in every word he had spoke to me. Now idk if you people at planet beach hate your job that much? Or have some personal issues w your home life or whatever it is that your going thru. Just thought I could put it out there, you can clean up your stank attitude, learn a little about where you work, And talk to the strangers who call your store w some respect. Not interested in ever coming here because of how strange I thought it was, that the owner and employees think it's okay to talk rudely and have a rude attitude FOR ME ASKING QUESTIONS? Sorry?? . Haha, go pull that stick out your ass, loose your little kid attitude maybe you'll once get a good review on your bootsy tanning salon. Just a little tip for ya!

Where should I start? I know, how about why did I got today? Two reasons, I'm CHEAP..and Briana. Yes, it's true I'm cheap, and always will be. Bought a living social voucher, been having problems as of late using living social vouchers I have bought NOT TODAY.

Briana, where to start, she is fabulous, friendly, helpful, great listener, excellent customer service, and I would have to say with out a doubt..THE BEST PART OF THE SPA... There is a form one has to fill out when they are NEW...as was I today...the form is LONG..and if your not great with technology like I am, it takes quite a while. Before filling out the form, amazing, wonderful, Briana showed me the services they have here, and if the service might have some kind of a fee, if so, how much the fee is. Since I'm CHEAP I didn't want to spend to much extra money. The only item I bought was a disposable sauna suit, which was CHEAP, just like me. Then I decided which three services I wanted to use...
Hydration/ Red light for the face/ weight/sweat loss.

Let's go in order here, I will also mention in each of these services the noise in each room AND THE SQUISHINESS BASED ON A SCALE OF A ONE TO TEN..TEN BEING MOST SQUISHY.

1. The first service was the hydration, speaking of hydration, make sure to ask for a bottle of water which is FREEEEEEEEE, back to it. This one is FOR SURE a birthday suit one for me, why? As Briana explained, anything you wear in this one will get WET..including you, how about that. Let us first start with noise. These room aren't really soundproofed, you can hear quite a bit, people opening and closing doors. The noise in this room wasn't TO BAD THE SQUISHINESS WAS SUPER BAD...on a scale of a 1 to 10...this one for sure WAS A TEN..NO DOUBT ABOUT IT..I JUST WAS THINKING HOW LONG THIS ONE WAS AND WHEN IT WAS GOING TO END...WAY TO SQUISHY FOR ME...you also get a robe and towels that are free of charge, and when your done with a service, wonderful, amazing Briana will take you to the next room, the next room

2. The red light therapy treatment for the face. My gosh, these machines are very techy for the most part. Briana got me set up in the massaging seat chair, and showed me what was the best place to place my feet, arms, etc. Then she turned on the red light which is for the facial. Briana told me the light is bright and to close my eyes if need be, which is what I did. When you do this one it's like two services for one a massage, and a facial. Squishiness rating for this one is?? One..yes...a one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noise, THAT IS A DIFFERENT STORY. there is a totally annoying beeping noise on the control button for massage, and heard what sounded like loud music coming from next door??

3. Then it was time to sweat like never before. To bad I can't sweat off my BIG BUTT...this is the one when I had on the disposable sauna suit. The heat is on!!!! Yes, hot and sweating BIG TIME. Briana showed me all the gizmos on this one, which is SUPER TECHY... Briana went ahead and pushed the button to start, this one goes the longest at twenty minutes. I made a boo boo at first, I wasn't all the way in the pod, or whatever you want to call it, that's my fault. Squishiness rating? I'd give this one a seven, the noise didn't seem to be a problem in this room at all. This was the last service I had, I did use the restroom when I was there, which for the most part was pretty clean.

WITH OUT A DOUBT BRIANA IS THE BEST PART OF THIS SPA, LIKE THE SAYING GOES, IT IS THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE A PLACE WHAT IT IS, AND IF IT WASN'T FOR AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, WONDERFUL, SUPER, KIND, SWEET BRIANA, I DO NOT THINK I WOULD HAVE BEEN, SHE NEEDS A RAISE TO BE CLONED SO SHE CAN HELP EVERYONE..SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST AT WHAT SHE DOES, THANKS BRIANA, YOU TOTAL SUPER ROCKED IT BIG TIME.

Today is the first day in forever I have some time...

Today is the first day in forever I have some time to myself. My office is closed today but I still dropped my son off at daycare. I wanted some ME TIME! And I spent two hours of that ME time @ Planet Beach in Brentwood. Imgonna start off by saying, I know you're seeing that advertisement for the $30 spa day.. DO IT!!! They have incredible services!!! They also have a groupon for 9 spa services for $30. BUY IT!! Omg. I already can't wait to come back. I'm literally in the parking lot writing this review! Today I did the slim capsule, the red light uv bed, I did a tanning bed for 10 mins and then sat in the massage chair. OH MY GOD. This chair. I wish I could buy one. It's nothing like you've ever tried before.
I purchased 9 more spa services. I will be back over the next two weeks to do the slim capsule and the uv bed again. Probably tan. And most likely sit in this amazing chair!!! Bri was so sweet and so knowledgeable. LISTEN TO WHAT I AM TELLING YOU.. DO IT!!
