I really hate posting negative reviews but this hospital charged $30k for a severe vomiting episode. We only had to pay a $150 deductible because of our insurance, but if you didn't have any, you would really be in debt. My son was in the ER for 3 hours and had an IV and some anti nausea medication. We will never be able to fix the health care system as long as hospitals bill for this ridiculous amount. As for the doctors and Nurse, they did a good job.

Yep, worst and most unethical hospital/ER. I went to the ER to get tested for Covid back in January. (Mind you, at this point testing is free.) I had no symptoms except for a loss of taste. Wasn't sure if it could be allergies or Covid so I went to get tested. The moment I get there, outside they have a triage area set up. They ask me if I have symptoms to which I respond just a loss of taste. No other issues. Told them I could run a marathon as I felt that good. I find out later that that with no dire symptoms I should've been directed to a different area of the ER to where the testing could've been free. There are no signs indicated that there is free testing, mind you. So despite me telling them that I had no issues but the loss of taste, they take me in as a regular ER patient and charge me $2,000+ to get tested. I've fought this for months and apparently this was presented to the higher powers and they are standing their ground. I will be getting an attorney to fight this. This is not worth going to. I had heard awful stories in the past about this hospital but thought that it was just that...stories. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Honestly, you are better off going to St. Jude.

I brought my sister here for abdominal pain and fever. She was seen by another Emergency Hospital and was misdiagnosed. She still had pain and fever weeks after being treated by the other place. Brought her here by word of mouth that this ER was top notch. So glad we did because she could of went septic. Every person we came in contact with here were friendly and super knowledgeable and figured out the problem in less than 3 hours. I usually wait that long in the lobby of other ERs! I could not believe how wonderful this place is.

My 90 year old mother was brought into the emergency room this past week. Every person we came in contact with, from the admitting station to the nursing staff, from the doctors to the test technicians were exceptional and put her at ease. They were extremely professional in analyzing her condition and compassionate. This was our first experience with Placentia Linda hospital since we live out of the area, but I am very grateful for for their excellence.
