This is my 5th year to teach at PCA. I am a middle school ELA teacher. It's a great school. My own children attended Pineywoods, until last year. The ONLY reason they left was for football and drill team, at LISD. PCA laid a very firm foundation for their continued success at LISD. THE ADMINISTRATION IS TOP NOTCH. I love the small school atmosphere that our school has. I truly cannot say enough great things about PCA! To say that I "highly recommend" it would be an understatement.

I've attended piney woods school for almost 2 years and I loved it so much I called it my home. My 3rd year which was my last year " 2015" was the worst experience for me including several others. Now that piney woods was being under new administration they changed everything and now make the school look like its for "bad" kids. Authority and Rules are very strict and heavy. With new administration came new staff. I've never seen such a messy staff, teachers ready to fight students just ridiculous. I feel sorry for the students who now attend this school in the upcoming school year 2015-2016 and so on. But I can say that this school will always help you when it comes to school work, College and Graduation. Just don't get dragged down to drama. Rest in peace to the old Piney Woods School. And i'm just writing this review due to everything, the drama, and experiences We've been through. An opinion has to be heard.

good school and love all the new things they added to it

The school isn t as great as it use to be. Some of the rules are ridiculous and the new teachers aren t as motivating. I wouldn t recommend it anymore

I have been going to Pineywoods for 9 years and I can truly say I love this school and wouldn't want to go to any other school. I am going into 8th grade and i have been here since pre-k and all the teacher were some pretty good teachers. Especially Mrs. Coogler I had her in 1st grade and in 6th grade I will never forget her.

I've been at pineywoods for two years and I love it the past two years I've been there they always encourage you to pass the staar and do your best I really like it if you want to go to a good school go to pineywoods

I am Harley Bonham and I go to PCA and I've been there since Kindergarten. I absolutely LOVE PCA. It is the best school in Lufkin-er-THE WHOLE WORLD!!!! The teachers are awesome and so are the principles. I would like to recommend this school to everybody.
