Well kept,a great gathering place for families in the West loop....
Have only really been for Pitch Fork and North Coast (Music Festivals). I believe the Pitch Fork team does a good job. North Coast doesn't seem to be run as well.
Cool CPD workers, fun play groubd for children and loads of friendly children.
Decent amenities, nice quiet part of the neighborhood. Good events in the summer. The gym even has a workout room and an indoor basketball court. Never swam in the pool, but others seem to love it. Come here for Pitchfork every year, too. Ahh Fest! as well.
Easy and convenient, and located at the crossing of several bicycle routes in the city.

Good place for concerts, however with rain everything is full of mud and bad. Maybe I need some more organization.

Spacious, clean, close to lots of cool restaurants. Pitchfork Music Festival was amazing!
Been to Union for Pitchfork, rallies, and a March. Well organized events and the park has ample space. Both rallies and the March were peaceful and empowering. Again plenty of space, park was clean for those.
I go to Union Park once a year for the Pitchfork Festival, to watch music and get some sun. I haven't been to the park any time after the festival, but from what I can tell it seems like a pretty swell park. Perfect for baseball games, picnics, and make out sessions.
Beautiful place to have fun with your children or with family public transportation available which you have the train(greenline) and the buses Ashland and also Madison
I go to this pool every summer. The life guards and staff are friendly n respectful. I feel safe here they haved lockers n free parking.
great park, enjoy that they have pitchfork and north coast music festivals there every summer. Best way to get there is via the CTA green line or pink line drop you off right at the front. Though Pitchfork Music Fest is getting pretty cramped there, and should probably move to a bigger venue. Lakeside maybe?
My son, daughter and I enjoyed a concert in this park in July 2018. We saw Lauren Hill and Chaka Khan. We had an AMAZING time!
North coast music festival was a good time. Worst part was it was done at 10PM
Played tennis at the courts here recently. Not the best surface, especially for late July by which time these public courts should've been renewed. No gaping holes on the surface but the nets were sagging and the surface was pockmarked enough to make the ball bounce a tad unpredictably.
Daily burgers for $5@ great out door seating and they also have outdoor games oto play

Not a place a driver of a semi want to find themselves! The area seems nice.went far a walk. Wasn't scared. The rail train was loud. Find your adventure...
a nice park. came here for pitchfork and enjoyed how small and intimate the whole event was.
Song great music and events during the summer. Great park! Close to new development of high rises around the west loop.

First class park. The children's jungle gym and playground is amazing and well spaced. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and pool. There are skyline sightlines and even free parking. Great place to throw/kick around the ball or picnic. The only downside is the size, but the park makes up for that in many other ways.
Great area and the restaurant setting was great and service was good really enjoyed.
Care takers can do a little more for the field. Restrooms were beyond reproach these people should be acknowledged for their work.
It's a big park nice and clean despite all the protest. Lots of people go there for exercising , yoga and other things.
Great playing field, great pool and indoor/outdoor basketball & outdoor tennis courts.
There is a pool, when a life guard is on duty only. Park to play on and you can grill out, bring own grill.
Nice place to take the kids and to visit and party plans.
