Always a good place to go and let the kids run around, the sprinkler system is good for the kids with the mist spraying in a circle. 3baby strollers and the rest being of regular size.
Playground coverage needs repair and 30 "grass is missing
Beautiful. This is one of the best in Chicago. Swimming pool, tennis court, baseball, playground and a large fieldhouse.
A common ground that is respected by the community.
easy parking. nice place could spend here all day long
Great park where they hold lots of venues. Its a really nice sized park where there could be a festival or concert going on on one side and people could be picnicking on the other. I haven't been inside the field house so I don't know much about it as I have spent all of my time outside on the grounds here which are beautiful and spacious.
Easily accessible off the cta train and bus route. Plenty of free street parking nearby
Fun spot for a festival with convenient access to public transportation
We had a good time here. I've never been before. But we hosted an N/A picnic, which turned out great! Not just in number wise, but as far as everything else as well!. Only if there hadn't been any rain at all that day!!! But we sure did make it work!!!. I'd recommend for big get to gathers and such!
Nice place. But the environment is a little uncomfortable.
I think this park was attached to or added to the space of asbury park for riot fest but, the whole area was great and easy to get to.
Great time at Pitchfork Festival. Park was a great venue for it. Been many times and will continue to go!
I love the area it's in. I use the Metra sometimes to go home and to come back from my the burbs.
Great park in the near west side. Relatively safe are with good police presence. Regardless I was robbed here at night so it's not without its darkside.
Nice little park right by the green line station Ashland and lake street
There's alot of activities there it's really great you can climb the Rick wall it was awesome
Great place to hang out and have some fun with the family
Union Park has and always will be a fantastic park to me!
OMG the March for Our Lives on March 24, 2018. These kids are amazing. The program was absolutely outstanding -- speakers and performers are listed on the March for our lives Chicago facebook page. I was in tears at least half the time. And the park was set up perfectly for this special event. Big TVs, and porta potties even!
Great March for Our Lives. Young people who organized it are inspiring. Let's not let them down.
Union > Onion I always say. Here you can get radical protest, indie rock fests, and even play softball! See you in July.
Quiet, relatively clean, plenty of places to sit, plenty of shade but bathrooms seemed to be nonexistent.
It is a pretty great neighborhood park. It has two softball fields, a community pool, two tennis courts, and two horseshoe pits.
The park is kept clean and well maintained. There is something going on here every night in the summer. The softball fields have lighting for night games. There is a paved path around the perimeter of the park which is nice for walking/running.
I wish this park had a dog park. The park is friendly to dogs.

Quiet park. Rarely many visitors. Field House, swimming pool, playground, basketball & tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds.
I had never been to Chicago before this event at Union Park. Had a lot of fun. It had rained the previous day but the volunteers wprked relatively hard to put down as much sand as they could in the puddles and whatnot. after a music wvent there a lot of trash and recyclables just lying arpund but im sure the clean up crew did a great jpb
This park is close to chicago westside area. Feeling unsafe here
We went to the Caribbean Festival in this park. It was okay, but definitely not as expected.
Wish it had a nature walk or pond. Other than that, it is a good place to take the kids. There's a playground, field house, basketball court, tennis court baseball field. Enough to keep kids active.
I have been here twice for Common s Aahh Fest in 2014 & 2016. Had a blast
Nice park near the west loop. It has two baseball fields, basketball hoops, pool, events, a track, and tennis court. It is usually quiet and clean
Good open space, but why have a park with non working water fountains?
Great place to visit, bring the family and walk, Run, or swim, even barbarqe, chill out
Well kept,a great gathering place for families in the West loop....
Ragae fest was nice but they should not charge to get into the park and shop with the vendors
Great park for a festival! The enclosed space offers and intimate experience with great views of the skyline. It's accessible via public transit and just a short walk from the West loop and a couple of additional music venues.
Came here for the Pitchfork festival 2018 and had a great time. Lots of space, safe, and quick entry into the event. I'd come back.
This is the new location for Ruido Fest. kDidn t get a chance to experience the old location but I had a great time at Union Park and I hope the festival keeps going on
Great place to hit a couple two, tree dingers on da softball field while puttin down a coupla coldies
Has a walking path, basketball court, tennis cout, pool, baseball field, and playground.
hit or miss sometimes its nice and peaceful other times... well
I went to the Pitchfork Festival with some friends this year for the first time and had a great experience. Chaka Chan and Lauren Hill put on a great show!
