Pinnacol has done some great work in improving the interaction with their clients (like me!). The yearly audit is easy to do and fast. The billing (monthly premium payments) can be tailored to a company's needs ... if I want to get my annual premium paid in 4 months or 8 months Pinnacol can tailor that to a company's need. I especially enjoy getting a check back when Pinnacol has made a surplus the prior year. I am happy to endorse Pinnacol for worker compensation insurance.

Pinnacol Assurance is such a great carrier for workers compensation here in Colorado. There is a misconception that there are not other choices, but there are. Pinnacol has over half the market share because they are competitively priced and have great service. In most cases they are willing to help their customers with their safety programs more than they are willing to accept. If you look for a bad review, I would assume you will be able find a business owner that thinks they didn't handle a claim well. However, in my experience it is almost always due to the laws and Pinnacol's hands are tied.
