Beautiful resort. Great amenities. Beautiful beach area.

Our experience was absolutely unforgettable. When our room wasn't ready, we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite on the top floor. It was a vacation my fiance and I will never forget. The pools were clean, warm, and peaceful. Bongo's offered reasonably priced drinks right at the pool, and you're just steps away from the beach. We even were able to rent a jet ski, which was incredible! I have absolutely zero complaints about my stay at Pink Shell, and will DEFINITELY return here when I come back to Fort Myers Beach again!

I wasn't here long enough to enjoy much, but it was a nice place. I'd definitely come back sometime to experience more. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with full kitchensand screened in porches. Breakfast was a good one, too, included in the rate.

Scheduled a trip to Kennedy Space Center and stayed at the Inn the night before. Great location right on the beach. Nice pool. Complementary happy hour with wine, cheese and veggies. Honor bar with very good liquor and beer. Good service. We had a very nice room on the 4th floor with a view of the ocean.

I spent a night at this hotel and they didn't tell me I had to pay for breakfast. I'm never coming back to this hotel.Supposedly is included if you stay for more than one night. NOT COMING BACK EVER AGAIN!!!

The hotel was great with the amenities and being right on the beach and the pool was big! I was just really disappointed with the room. I was expecting a WOW factor when I got into the room since so many people rave about the hotel. The room was super clean it just looked old. The bathroom molding was coming apart and that made it look ugly and dirty. I cleaned it myself just in case and it was clean. Just presentation wise. The door to the room kept getting jammed and it was because something was wrong with the lock. Not sure if it was just the room I got but I also stayed in the main hotel building.

Beautifully appointed resort. Stayed for the first week they opened after Covid. They did a great job, even though not all parts were open yet (gift shop, gym, spa, Jack's etc). Would stay again!

Way over priced for everything! They had charges on out card that we didnt know what it was and called had to leave messages because nobody knew what they were. Never received a bill had to call back and have one emailed to us. Spa services were less then good, and had to pay 250 per person!!

One of the most beautiful beaches in the USA with a relaxed, old skool Florida vibe. The Pink Shell Resort is perfectly located on Estero Island. It is a beautiful resort with amazing amenities. It is great for families or couples. We went for our honeymoon and it could not have been better. We plan to come back to Pink Shell year after year.

Nice resort. Good value. Extremely friendly staff. Everything seemed very clean. Sheets had a lot of pilling and were scratchy...could use replacing. Beware of the painted sidewalk between the Captiva and Sanibel building. Both my husband and I slipped and fell on it. Otherwise nice stay.

This was our first stay at the Pink Shell, and it was a GREAT experience. The biggest standout was the EVERY member of the staff was always so friendly and accommodating. The front desk, our server, pool staff, housekeeping and beachside service were ALL consistently nice. We stayed in a studio and it was a very spacious room with everything you needed including the kitchenette, which also included more dishes, glassware and silverware than needed. The beach was our favorite part and honestly felt the powder sand and stretch of beach was better than Sanibel and Captiva. Definitely a great place to stay for families! Was very convenient and comfortable! I would definitely go back!

We loved finding this Gem of a resort on our quick trip to Fort Myers. We will come again. Relaxing, clean, right on the beach. Large comfortable room overlooking the ocean. Delicious breakfast buffet. Also many amenities for the beach including water activities at no extra charge! Thank you for a great stay :)

We arrived to a complimentary upgrade- each room faces the ocean, but ours was much larger.
I couldn't think of one negative if I tried. The staff was SO friendly, two restaurants on site, direct beach access, nice pool, very affordable. We WILL be returning!

WARNING BEDBUGS!!!! We stayed in the white sand villas. My son had bites all over him that were getting worse everyday. We finally realized they looked like bedbug bites and contacted the front desk. They denied bedbugs and had housekeeping change the sheets. The bites were again worse the next morning. We contacted the again and they dismissed us. We insisted on a cot for him to sleep on in the living area for that last night. We also had to request bags to keep our items separated as we were going to a second resort for the last few days of our vacation. They treated us as if that was a huge hassle. No one ever acknowledged there was a problem. No one ever apologized. It was awful for him to go through. He wouldn t leave the room since he was covered in these very noticeable bites all over. Once we got home the bites cleared up and only a few scars remained. I would never stay at the pink shell again because of how the situation was handled. The second photo shows the progression on the bites overnight just one of the nights and the torso photo was the first day we realized what was going on.

Great place to stay. The rooms were very well kept and they groom the beach every day making for great soft sand. Also you are in a great location to go get some awesome local food.

Many renovations through the years to keep it updated and relevant.
Pool area is Gorgeous yet kid friendly as well.
You can enjoy the pool bar and if you are with kids it s off to the side
It s set up nice for either aspect.
After renovations I was invited to see it and was impressed.
I recommend it as a resort to stay at without kids and with kids.
The families I ve been around there have respect for others and keep the kids from running wild which is what you d expect at such a nice place
Which I appreciated as I always kept my kids in line as well.

We loved our Honeymoon at the Pink Shell! We had a 1 bedroom villa in the min building and were blown away by the accommodations, staff, and activities. Everyone was friendly and kind, going out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The breakfast was incredible and the adults only pool was a favorite of our trip. We miss it immensely and can not wait to go back

Nice hotel altough I would recommend staying at the hotel and not in the appartments next to the hotel. We reported a problem and got as response that they could not fix this as they did not had access to everything of the building. So in other words it was not their problem...... Also if you like wifi in your room definitely stay at the hotel instead of the appartments.

I would give 5 stars but the price has just gone up by quite a bit.

Where do I start with this resort?

We stayed here recently (during COVID) and it was one of our first outings since being quarantined. If you are nervous about travelingduring Covid I can honestly recommend coming to this resort as they are very cautious and clean.

I have been here twice in a matter of 30 days. It is not the most affordable but it is the best in every other aspect and totally worth the price.

I had been going to Ft. Myers Beach for many many years and had stayed at many different hotels and none ever made me feel compelled enough to go leave a review.

The service and staff here is second to none in FMB. Our room was incredibly spacious and extremely clean.

The pool deck and pool is unbelievable. Kayaks and paddle boards are included with you stay at the hotel as well as valet.

The valet staff is the nicest and most accommodating valet staff I have ever encountered at any hotel, anywhere. I made sure to tip them as they were all deserving of a nice tip for their kindness and courtesy.

I look forward to visiting the Pink Shell again soon!

This is a top notch resort! The staff and very knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are clean and the food and drinks are great. The prices on drinks and food are higher than we anticipated but you can walk to town if you choose. The beach access was great amd you get 2 complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella. They have a towel service if you choose to use it. Definitely bring bug spray to protect from mosquitoes at night. You can walk down to the very edge of the island which we thought was AMAZING. The sunsets are breathtaking from this resort. It is definitely paradise!

Christmas party was great with Pink Shell hosting the food and drinks.

We absolutely love coming to pink shell! We come several times a year and love it! Great family friendly vacation. They do need more pool chairs or allow people to reserve chairs as they are usually full/taken very early in the day with towels and no one on them. Some redesign and they could easily add an additional 50 lounges chairs and that would go a long way with guests like us who frequent this location and continue to have this as our only real complaint.

COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!! We booked a family vacation for Thanksgiving months in advance & made sure they were doing something for the holiday... no one ever told us that we needed a reservation during booking, conformation or check in. On Thanksgiving they told us that they were fully booked and that my family was on our own finding something for dinner for our children. They were rude and did absolutely nothing to make up for their mistake. Also when we checked in we were given a room and completely unpacked our belongings at which point the hotel notified us they had sent us to the wrong room and needed us to vacate that room immediately. It was a huge inconvenience and once again they did nothing to make up for the fact that they made a huge mistake. In addition, if you charge people higher rates because it's a holiday weekend those guests expect you to have an adequate staff. Overall experience was an epic fail.... LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is a much better option!!

Pink Shell is a beautiful resort and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would love to go back in the future!! We had a great time!!!

We recently returned from the Pink Shell. It's a gorgeous resort right on the beach and several pools. Food was delicious, the waiters on the beach and pool were great. Now on to the front desk staff. We arrived with another couple and their room was ready but ours was not which was no big deal at all. We could change in their room and hit the pool. When I asked what our room number was we were informed that we were down 3 buildings. Now I had called TWICE to ensure we were in the main building as my husband is disabled and it would be easier for him to just to take the elevator down to access to the pool and restaurant for dinner. When I expressed this to Erin at the front desk her response was he'll figure it out! REALLY? HE WILL FIGURE IT OUT????? So when the room was ready I went down to see how far and it was quite a walk for him, but when I went in the room the slider was wide open and stuck open and couldn't be closed. I went back to the main desk and spoke to a gentleman NOT Erin, and asked to be moved as I had requested twice before even arriving. He put us in the 2nd building so at least it was closer. When checking out I saw on the bill I was charged a extra $40 upgrade fee daily. Again I asked in advance for a specific building. I really hope that one day none of Erin's family becomes disabled and is not treated in that manner! We will not be returning or recommending. There should have been a apology or a comp of some kind.

The resort is the jewel of ft Myers. The pool area is amazing plus the white Sandy Beach is right there.

John and his staff were incredible to work with. Every attention to detail had been given and every service person was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel special. Truly impressive experience and would recommend to everyone!

Great staff and amenities!! Joe Estrada(manager) and his staff took care of every detail to perfection. Definitely recommended for large gatherings or weddings!

Not much to do around the area, The hot tub area had ants all around it, the Employees are not very friendly or personal. We ate at the restaurant Raes on the beach and the food was great once it arrived 50 mins after we ordered it. we then ordered dessert there an that took another 10 minutes for key lime pie and cheesecake. Not a terrible experience but not the resort experience we were hoping for..

Great atmosphere and great views. There are some games to play too. Drink special is usually pretty good and prices are reasonable.

Was there as a guest to the wedding, and everything was excellent. The view was great, the beach was well-kemp, and the staff were all very kind. Weather allowing, this is the perfect place for a classic Florida beach getaway!!!

Other than having a glass of wine spilled on me by the waitress at Bongo's and our room being much smaller than last year, everything was great!

Great place for families. Me and my father slipped here for the weekend while we were on our fishing trip in the area. Everyone was friendly, staff and guests alike. This is a family oriented joint so do not expect to party with the beach bods while listening to Lil jon, but you can enjoy some good food with friendly people. As I entered the swimming pool area my first thought was wow! The swing pool along with the beach in a few short steps would be great for my kids, the Sandy beach to enjoy and a nice Margarita within a servers distance to bring it to you. Overall, a great place to enjoy southwestern Florida with the family (I am bringing my kids here next month). You should look outside of the resort (by cab) to go get a seafood dinner worth writing home about.

Great stay, beautiful pink shell lives up to its fullest. We had a wonderful time. Staff are very nice and helpful to ensure you are taken care of. Beautiful suite and breathtaking views of the Beach. Good food, great Service by everyone, very special mention goes out to Denise, beautiful lady who made sure my Birthday was a memorable one. Shawn and Nicole at reservations were kind, and very helpful. Look forward to coming back soon
