Such a great school,Teachers are awesome. One super school. My kids loved it here.
I've been at Pinellas Prep since 1st grade. I am now in 8th. The teachers are so nice. Also, I made tons of new friends. The work is challenging but I am always taught something new!
This is our daughters first year at this school in kindergarten and we couldn't be happier! What a great school where the kids really are a top priority and the education they receive is above and beyond! So grateful our daughter will be in this outstanding school all the way to 8th grade!
Pinellas Preparatory Academy is awesome! Definitely many steps above the Florida public school system. Mrs. Matsumoto-Roberts is a reasonable problem solver.
We're an active duty military family. My daughters will attend many schools during my husband's career, and I hope they're all as good as PPA.
I am a student that has been at PPA since 1st grade and I think this school is absolutely amazing. I love this school so much. The teachers are fun and nice. My class, me, and my teacher played a game involving math and science. We have so much fun and are learning at the same time. I LOVE PPA SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
This is our first year at this school and I have to say we are very pleased ! The Principal/Teachers and staff all have the best interest of the child in everyway . If you want a school that has structure and balance and you want your child to get a great education ! This is the school ! I have heard other parents say Ms. Walker has too many rules and I have to say rules help keep our children safe as well as order in society as Parents we can also help our children follow school rules ! As my mom always said (monkey see ,monkey do) Children need to understand that there are always consequences for breaking rules. Respect for rules is not just for school but everyday life.
They teach our children how to understand the difference between right and wrong in their decision-making. Because one day, Principals like Ms. Walker won't be watching. Thank you Ms. Walker, Teachers and Staff for all you do!!! I would give more stars if I could !
3 stars is a fair judgment of this school. I was there for 5 years. If your child ever goes to that school only stay till 3rd grade! Those were the best years before Preparatory Academy until they became prison. After 3rd grade they banned anything fun. For example, a class room had to fight over 3 working computers out of 20 which never got fix. The school even banned Youtube because supposedly it has a software issue. I was a good student at that school however I went to LMS and it is better. At least teachers did not hype me up then when FSA those results meant nothing. LMS is better!
Perhaps I am biased since I was the Principal... But great school!
was great until middle school, which ultimately traumatized me.
The teachers actually care about your success, and want to do whatever they can to help you do your very best. But for new students, getting to know everyone is pretty easy. I can almost guarantee you'll have a new friend by the end of the day. Everyone is kind and welcoming and will make sure you aren't on your own.
