Delicious food in the cafeteria especially after a trail run.
I've been searching for a good sandwich shop (other than Amatos) since I moved to Maine 3 years ago. I found it! Fresh bread, veggies, and meat, all perfectly constructed, with a dash sriracha mayo, that was delicious. This will be my go to sandwich shop for sure.
I love everything about this place except for the fact I can't bring my dog.
Really good place to get something to eat or just walk around all the Gardens and Farms
Why couldn't this place had been open when I lived down the road? Top notch!
Beautiful campus. Lovely walking trails and a peaceful pond with picnic tables. Check out the market, gardens, and farm, or sign up for a class from LL Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools.
Great place to grab a bite to eat, or to start a day of outdoor activities by skiing, running, or hiking on the beautifully maintained trails, or to take your family to visit the farm and animals.
Despite single digit temperatures, we had a great time. The folks in the outdoor center were friendly and helpful. The trails were well maintained and consisted of rolling hills through fields and forest. Plus it is right outside Portland!
Great place for an outdoor adventure followed by good food!
The horses were beautiful. The guides were friendly and they seem to love their jobs.
Best variety for small snack breaks. Wonderful soup bar! Unique gifts for all occasions
Delicious veggie wrap , warm soups , cute place with a great lil shop ...nice visit on a cold winter day
I take my two year old out to pineland farms pretty regularly. She loves to see the cows (especially the baby cows), chickens, goats and other animals. I love how clean and accessible the grounds are (when was the last time you visited a farm in spring in Maine and didn't need boots?!) and how friendly the animals are. They also have disc golf courses and a wonderful market/cafeteria dining area. Beautiful facilities. Highly recommended.
Great selection of local goods; I'm partial to the coffee, tea, and beer.
The food is awesome here. Cute atmosphere and fairly quick.
In addition to the excellent soups and sandwiches at the market, the grounds are impeccably maintained, making even the walks through parking lots incredibly beautiful. I recommend strolling through the shop attached to the market as well though, and picking up a few locally made goodies, like spice rubs, sauces, even aprons and wooden toys. Keep an eye out for scheduled events including cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
Beautiful landscape. Delicious food market. My husband and I actually got married here under the purgala! There are two gazebos, a few ponds, a lovely bridge, a well maintained flower garden across the street but still part of the area. Lots of flowers around. There is a working farm down the road, which they do lots of events at as well.
Excellent trail network, well maintained and tracked.
Decent corn maze. The market center has good choices but super-over priced. Better pack a picnic lunch.
The local chocolate milk in a returnable glass bottle was fantastic after a day of running the trails.
Great cross country skiing in the winter. Beautiful garden in the spring and summer. Market has decent prices and local goods
Thought this was an awesome place to have a wedding. Grounds were beautiful and we had great weather to boot.
Great place! Amazing food! Very fresh fruits and veggies... I could go on and on... Come check this place out.
Love their sandwiches and soups. Great desserts also
I went for The Patriot disc golf course.
Simply a stunning course. When they called it a pro course, they weren't kidding. The fairways are pretty wide and well maintained. The difficulty comes from the length and steep elevation changes of each hole. I honestly never once felt that the course was hard. Any bogey I took was simply execution in my shots. I can't wait to play this course again.
Great place to visit. Visit the cows. Great cheese. Wonderful place to learn about Morgan horses. Great place for gifts.
Lovely area with lots of trails. Various spooky happenings during the fall and snowshoeing in the winter.
Great snowshoe trails, friendly staff... they clearly offer disc golf & orienteering too!!
HAD A FAMILY LUNCH, AFTER LOSING A DOG IN THE FAMILY. A VERY GOOD PLACE TO CHEER SOMEONE UP OR JUST GET TOGETHER.BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF MAINE AGRICULTURAL COUNTRYSIDE.
If you ever find yourself within 10 miles of this place you need to stop and grab something to eat at the market. Delicious sandwiches soups and baked goods as well as a fresh market. If you leave disappointed you did something wrong.
This is the best farm/barn tour I've ever been on. The farmers there were reall friendly and glad to share their knowledge. I'd go again in the spring.
We love it here!! I can't believe I've never left a review. We've been coming for years! Always so clean, so many animals to see and adventures to be had. On this visit we went through the corn maze and saw pumpkins too. We've also made apple cider, milked cows, collected eggs, went on a sleigh ride through the snow & brushed a horse!
Yummy food, local produce, and Maine-made products.
Awesome, locally made products but a little expensive. Awesome ski trails
Beautiful place with a ton of stuff for the entire family
Amazing market with fresh produce and meats. Bakery has canoli and fresh baked desserts and breads and sandwiches. Great disc Golf courses for all abilities. Hiking and biking to boot1
Fantastic bagels with great prices. Fresh food, locally sourced or from the farm itself.
Wow! What a great local grocery store with lots of stuff to look at.
I rode my bicycle from Portland today for s beer tasting and was surprised at how much I found.
This is by far the best place to visit. I have 4 kids ages 2-5 and they love it here. My son has a gluten allergy and he was finally able to eat his first Maine whoopie pie. Their gluten free selection is vast and very reasonably priced and oh so tasty. The market has amazing fresh produce choices, and fun toys for the kids. They also carry Maine made wine and beer. My husband is happy because he gets to play a round of disc golf on their impecibly kept grounds. There is something for the whole family from 1month to 100 years. Do not miss this fanstastic farm full of fresh air, fresh food and fun! This truely is an amazing Maine experience.
Great recreational area. Mountain biked here. Wooded or roads
We went sledding and had hot cocoa. A great experience.
Expensive but quality foods. Not usually much time waiting.
Amazing outdoor programs, fantastic food (both in the grocery store and market), and a beautiful setting.
Walked the trails / missing signs / missed several snowshoe trail entrances - had to walk the RR tracks. Although made the best of it. Recommendations : have a compass for cloudy days / Download a map & screenshot Google map for reference. Online maps are different then on-site trail maps.
Great place to work, they are very strict about being clean and great employees.
Great trip to take the whole family, from the farm, all the animals, scenery, trails and super cute store! Local food, wine, beer, and more!
We always have a beautiful experience here. From cows to the corn maze.
Beautiful place to visit to take in the foliage on the trails. The place is enormous. We had a delicious lunch at the Dish Cafe and browsed the market. We live within driving distance and this was our first visit. We thought the family programs looked like fun, but don't understand why they all seem to be offered during the week at 10-11:30am. Why not on the weekend or after-school? We'll probably be back, just wish the programs were more accessible for normal working folks.
Terrific family programming and delicious food. A local treasure.
Stopped in for a mid-ride break for a coffee and scone. They were perfect.
A gem of a place. If you can do this side trip by all means do it!
Disc golf course is stupid, bring cheap plastic and plan to lose many disc's
This place is amazing. The food is top notch, local, organic, and made on premises. My party of two split a sandwich and we were both satisfied.
They also offer a great selection of Maine Made products. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of activities. Highly recommend.
Pineland farms is the Burt Reynolds of Stonewall Kitchens's.
Lots of interesting things to do here, and you can get local food and tiny ice cream cones
