My salesman Joe Roussell was fantastic and patient. The sales a manager that came to speak wirh is however, just assumed we had left earlier to go shop for a better deal, but that wasn t the case. I was there to buy the car but had to leave because the process wouldn t be over in time for my daughters doctor appointment. That almost made me walk out the door.

Our sales person Chris Condello was patient, helpful and more than willing to help us in our search. I thought it was going to be impossible ...

Alana set things in motion by getting me into the dealership to see a vehicle that I had seen on the website and arranging to have it brought down from the Keyport showroom ... I was introduced to Eric Scalia and presented him with what I needed - what I was looking for and what my budget was. It took some time ... and effort ... but with reassurances from Eric, Johnny and Joe Cirillo - I was able to get the vehicle that I had seen and now am driving a safe, reliable ... and good looking Nissan!!!

I cant begin to thank you all for your help in getting this done ... I will recommend Pine Belt Nissan to anyone I know who might be looking for a vehicle. Their customer service epitomizes what I believe customer service is supposed to be.

Avoid this dealer.
We were looking for a certified used car for my father in law. We wanted certified for piece of mind on a used vehicle. Our sales person was John Sokolowski. We made an appointment and looked at the car a 2012 Nissan Versa red with 59000 miles. Inside the car was an after market satellite radio receive wired under the dash. I asked John how it was getting power and he said the auxiliary input carried the power. This was the first time he lied to us. After the test drive my father in law liked the car and wanted to buy it. We sat down to talk about price. We made an offer and John said he would ask about it and we waited. He then came back and said that they were already at cost on the vehicle but then took us outside to see another car that appeared next to the one we wanted. It somehow had 29000 less miles and would be in our price range. We drove it around the lot and the brakes were grinding and it had seat covers so we couldn't see what the seats looked like. But my father in law was interested anyway. We went to talk price and John was a full 1000$ more than the previous car that had now disappeared by the time we came back from the test drive. The classic bait and switch. Now we are looking at a car that the car fax said had brake issues and John assured us would be certified. We left after the price was so far higher than he told us it would be. The next day I get a text from John saying he could sell us the lower mileage versa for what we wanted to pay for the red one. I told him no I didn't want to play the bait and switch game. He then called my father in law directly saying he couldn't get in touch with me and that while the red versa was sent back to their keyport office he could have the black one. Why is a car with 29000 less miles so much cheaper? The grinding brakes? John then told my father in law that while they would not certify the car " red flag" it had a remainder warranty on it from original purchase. My father in law of course called me immediately and that's how we caught John lying to us again. He then told me we could have the red versa for another thousand dollars... But wait I thought it was already sent back to keyport and unavailable? This place is extremely shady and plays the bait and switch game with customers I say go somewhere else ymmv

The service was great, they were professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The reason why I would never buy another Nissan is because of the CVT issue my car had. It was nice to be reimbursed but I had to use that check the same day because my car needed a software update that was 300 plus dollars, which I find incredibly expensive.The MAS was another 300, a part that only costs 90 dollars at any other auto place. It surpassed my expectations because I wasn t expecting the great service but also because I wasn t expecting to drop 700 dollars on a Mass airflow sensor and an update.

Went there for an oil change without an appointment. I had received a coupon in the mail & thought I would try Pine Belt Nissan ' s Service Dept. I was pleasantly surprised. Oil changed & car washed - I was out of there in 45 minutes. Yes, that was a pleasant surprise. I will go there again. My service advisor was Victoria V. She was most helpful.

Would recommend Pine Belt Nissan 10 out of 10 times. I was assisted by Angelo on the sales team and Pat in finance. They were patient, kind, and went above and beyond for me. I bought a used 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Pat and Angelo made sure it was in the best working order and very clean. They followed up a few days later to check and see if i had any issues. I never though buying a car could be such a pleasure!.

While the staff were all nice, when I brought my manual transmission vehicle in with 20000 miles on it and they originally told me a valve needs to be replaced and they need to do further diagnostics they called me the next day and said the clutch needs to be replaced and it isn't covered under warranty. Not only that but they made me bring back the loaner and wanted to charge me more then double what 3 local mechanics quoted me for the same work. And all the mechanics I spoke to were shocked that it wasn't covered by the warranty.

I had the unfortunate experience of having my transmission die on me. Luckily, Eileen at Pine Belt Nissan in Toms River was there to help. She took it upon herself to reach out to Nissan and see if they could help with the situation. They couldn t, but Eileen said not to worry, and set me up with Louis, who was a great sales person. I m now the happy owner of a new car, and I don t have to worry about The headache of replacing a transmission. Thank Eileen, Louis, and the rest of Pine Belt Nissan.

Purchased a 2017 Nissan Sentra. Salesman was super nice but the communication was horrible they offered me a car at a certain price point and it turns out I didn t get that price so I m paying 5k more. Partially my fault for trusting them and not reviewing the agreement carefully. I realized the mistake days later but They admit their mistake but can t fix it and now I m stuck with the higher cost. Totally wasted days going back and forth with them listening to lie after lie. I would never go back there or recommend them.

From the beginning this was a good experience. It began with Taylor who contacted me and was re-assuring that my credit status would not be a waste of time. I came in and met with Logan, he presented and handled himself well despite his tender years. Logan was polite, knowledgeable and most of all down to earth and sincere. His pride in the company he works for was refreshing. I was treated with total respect by everyone. I have been buying cars since the 80's , and I am on to all the stereotypical games some car dealers will play, this was different. It was handled with the decorum one would expect of a business transaction...genuine, sincere ,professional and all while maintaining the right amount of friendliness without being superficial. Overall, the best dealer experience I've had. Well done Logan and the team at Pine Belt !

We had a recall on our CVT transmission. To us there was no signs of it failing. After 20,000 miles our replaced engine failed. We had to pay $1.7k out of pocket. After calling Nissan corporation we found that the corporation paid half. The dealership gave us nothing. We were faithful buyers and always used the dealer for service. No more. We will be checking other makes for our future purchases. No one could tell us why the engine failed. Neither dealer nor the corporation.

I never write reviews unless they are well deserved and I have to commend the team at this dealership. Kevin Depiano is with out a doubt one of the nicest and more personable salesmen I have ever met. He took his time with me and remained completely transparent the whole sale. He did not settle for anything short of an incredible deal and then even went back and beat the deal he gave me along with Dave the finance manager. My upmost respect to these men. I cannot thank you enough!

Had a few issues with pine belt nissan in Tom's river. I figured I give them one last chance. Went in for a simple oil change. Last time I came in to help a friend buy a car and she did. But was first told since I was working with another sales person, that since hes not around I cant buy a car. So I go in for a simple oil change. I come in from the cold and Angelo Montalvo with his attitude asked me if I'm lost. He shouldn't even be dealing with dead poeple. His Manager Michael Kelleher must be having a tough last 10 years or so. They both need to be removed and away from anything living. Drove 40 miles away to another location, after waiting 2 hours. Do not go to this location

After going to 4 different dealerships whilst my husband and I were getting ready to purchase our first car we ended up picking this dealership. They exceeded our expectation with their professionalism and ill never forget how they took they time with us and made sure that we were happy and understood the whole process. I mean most places only care about the sale but not this place and for that I will forever recommend it to any one who wants to buy a car and will definitely be coming back.

Sold me a lemon truck with 6 miles on it. Service manager very rude and demeaning. Said truck was perfect. A perfect truck with 6 miles on it took 7 cranks on average to start. Had to record it so they would believe me. New vehicle had no mats and a cover to fuse box in glove compartment. Mechanics were nice. Swapped vehicle and remote started was dead. AVOID.

DO NOT BUY from this dealership. I love my 2018 Nissan Rogue but this dealership has a POOR service department. Having a problem with my voice recognition connection and the 2 people I asked to solve this problem were not helpful at all. Was working when I bought the car. This is my 2nd Rogue. Had a problem with the first Rogue. The service dept. could not resolve that problem either. Bad.

Worst experience from start to finish. Sales guy was nice enough but had no clue what was going on.
My wife and myself travel to NJ every week (we are originally from NJ) and decided to look into trading a work van I no longer needed. She liked the altima so we took it for a test drive. After starting negotiations on a lease I think we were sitting there for around 4 hours before we even decided on a final payment amount which changed once we went into the finance office. Up to this point I was annoyed but thats to be expected now a day when purchasing a new car. After signing everything and leaving we received a call from the finance guy I believe his name was Steve. He stated something was messed up in our paperwork and we would need to resign. The original paperwork and date of purchase was 7-18-15 now 11-16-15 we have yet to receive our contract. We were calling nissan usa to make sure we wouldn't miss our first payment which was due 10-25-15 they told us there was no account in our name. Pine belt resent us another contract and needed additional money which we signed and sent back in. Now in November we receive a late bill notification from Nissan that our payment is pass due which they did wave the late fee after explaining our situation with the dealership.
I will never purchase a Nissan product and neither will any of my family or friends nor will I ever visit a Pine Belt dealership as long as I live. I am not happy at all with the way we have been treated and will be making it known through Nissan how poorly their dealership treats Nissans customers.

I just purchased a car with pine belt Nissan 2 months ago. My car dealers name was Franz and to be quite honest I will never purchase another vehicle here ever again. I was told by Franz when purchasing the car that the registration and plates are all taken care of and that they will just call me and put the plates on and bing bam boom, that easy. Right? No instead after being at the car wash I had realized that my plate had already had expired. Okay, no prob I ll just call and pick up the plate. Instead I find out that they need to have a paper title obtained from the state that my previous car was purchased from. After reviewing the website several times (the website the dealership sent me and basically said figure it out. ) i just could not understand exactly what it was that I had to do. Now that s I ve just left the dealership, they will not give me my plates, that are there, because they have not obtained the paper title of my old vechile, which only costs them $200 to do, but instead they would rather me pay $10 to do it online? Okay $10 doesn t matter I ll pay it, but the issue is that when I purchased my last car I had help from my brother in-law who was the primary owner of the car, and now it s a whole hassle to obtain this title. Is this dealership really this cheap, and can t handle these situations themselves? Considering I am paying almost $30,000 for this car! This is extremely aggravating, and inconveniencing, and I DO NOT recommend this dealership.

The Pine Belt dealerships are so rude, unprofessional, deceptive and give a great runaround!! Waiting for plates for months, no one will return your call, they offer you no assistance and could care less about customer service once you ve signed on the dotted line. Total disgrace! I DO NOT recommend them, save yourself allot of headaches and bring your business elsewhere.

We were treated as if we were family, and didn't have one issue from start to finish. Our salesman Frank Guzman was very personable and made us feel very comfortable right from the start.
