Weekened nights are always busy but servers coming often asked if need anything. Fast serving and especially foods are really tasty.

What a lovely restaurant! The food is great and the side dishes are great too. There was a huge lineup during dinner time on a weekend so you may want to go earlier if you have a large group. I got the bulgolgi soup and it was lovely.

Known as a KBBQ place but their other korean dishes are just as good if not better than the KBBQ at a reasonable price

Food is overpriced. Poor service, the server suddenly stopped serving us in the middle of the meau. Overall not recommended.

It is a pork blanket, but it does not have any vegetables. The meat was delicious. Do not eat pork cutlet.

First time here and tried the dumpling hot pot which is quite decent. The seafood pancake has too much flour and became mushy. Not much seafood either. Pork bone soup portion was generous but nothing to be excited about. Not much choice for non-spicy eaters so I ordered a fish cake udon for my mom. Udon was a bit too soft and soup base not too tasty. Beef ribs are good though.

Although the beef variety was tasty their was a little too much meat. Doing a Barbeque. at your table is fun but honestly their were too few vegetables. The Kinch variety was low to none, waiters didn't attend to us much during the meal and mostly there was confusion with waiters running around looking short on staff. . Dinner was pricey for what it was

Always busy, better call to reserve or you need to come by 6 to save time on waiting. Authentic Korean food, highly recommended for Cold Noodle Soup.

It used to be a nice restaurant but not any more......food was bad but service was good.

I had an amazing time in this place. We liked the nice vibes and the food. The waiters were very friendly. I am glad we eventually managed to visit this spot.

The Piggy's Restaurant is great ! The service is fast, the food is great. One downside is that the place gets really busy at around 7 and they won't accept Reservations for a party of less than 4.

Anyone who reviews this place higher than 2 stars knows nothing about korean food. Food is subpar at best and servers are rude and service is slow. Avoid.

It's a really bad rating. There was an event called "I don't really like the meat, so I added a cold noodle and I also had noodles". I felt bad about working and eating .. I will never go back.

Good service but very small food quantity. Got beef soup. They were two pieces of beef in it, no beef at all.

Great place! My friends and I enjoyed dining here. We ordered the marinated beef and the pork jowl. The beef was tender and nicely flavoured. The pork wasn't seasoned at all, so I'd recommend sprinkling some salt on it while it's cooking. The side dishes were delicious.

Service was just okay. We had to press the bell a few times and ordered a bowl of rice 3x before they brought it to us. Wish the ventilation system was a bit stronger, I was coughing from smoke a couple times as the vents weren't strong enough.

Overall food was great and I'd definitely return to tey other meats.

Hip and young Korean restaurants, good Korean food, tasty and no so spicy.

Managemanet has been changed recently? I recommended my friend to go there for his mom's birthday dinner. He visited with his family 7 people and order Korean BBQ.
And they emptied side dishes and asked git some more. The restaurant charged side dishes for $2.50 each.
What on earth the Korean restaurant charged side dishes? I'm Korean and have never paid extra for side dishes!!
So disapointment!!

Excellent services and foods with fair price. I forgot the phone after dinning with my friends. The manager put a notes on my phone indicate when and where they found it. He also asked me to unlock the phone in front of him, very responsible and professional. Definitely will visit again.

Cooked food is ok. Nothing amazing. The boneless beef short ribs were very disappointing. For $70 of two orders I would expect an above average quality meat. What we got was meat that was so tough to chew that I ended up spitting it out after chewing on it for a good 2 minutes.

What really topped off the one-star experience is their tricky wording on the menu. It writes:

Boneless beef short ribs (2 servings) $22

What we interpreted from this was that the order serves 2 people and the price is $22. What it ACTUALLY means is if you get 2 orders it comes to $22 per order, totaling $44 for 2 orders. If you want to only get one order you have to order what they call the "additional serving" for $ (I forgot how much it was). When the manager explained this to us when we questioned the bill he said "this happens all the time". Well if this happens ALL the time why wouldn't you tell your servers to explain that when people order?

At the end of the day the price is not the biggest issue if the food is good and we did order the proper amount of food that we intended to order. Though that was not the case. We can conclude that we will never visit this restaurant again.

Service was amazing, the servers were consistently changing our grill so that it was not burnt. Food was 5/5. It was also my first time trying pork bone soup. Loved it. Would recommend to anybody

I've yet to come here but their appointment system is clearly flawed. I called and tried to book for 7 people for a Friday evening and they tell me that you cannot book unless you have 8 or more during Fridays and weekends. Might as well just remove that feature during those days with a party of 8 being very unlikely for most people.

What really burn is that I was on the phone for 3 minutes and heard nothing about the 8 people rule until the last 10 seconds from when I heard the dial tone.

The bacon is so good like this, especially when you wrap it with the lettuce and all the sides. The service is super fast and it gets pretty packed here so be prepared to wait.

Got take out the other day and it was like they literally just threw what they had in their fridge. Got the ox bone soup and did not give me the seasoning, if you know they broth take like bland water if you don't have the seasoning.

The pork belly with green tea is by far the best Korean BBQ I had. With the small dishes and blue crab salad, I find this place very satisfying.

Great tradition Korean BBQ and amazing service. Keep in mind on weekends the wait can be super long.

Went there at dinner time around 8 but still had line ups, server had no smile but responsive. Ordered seasoned pork belly for BBQ, meat was fresh but could not taste the seasoning. Also had tofu perilla stew, soup base is creamy and tofu is soft. The side dish are not the bast but has many kinds( approx. 6) I like the pancake the best but kimchi is old. Atmosphere is cozy and clean.

We got 2 servings of Piggy s pork belly special, 2 servings of the marinated beef, and 1 full serving of the cold noodles.

It was busy so the service was terrible:
1) they didnt even bring us our water even after the food came out so we had to ring the bell to ask them
2) they gave every other table extra side dishes (the potato salad and the pancake) so we rang the bell to ask them. They told us that those dishes only come when the customers order beef, but the thing is we ordered beef so I literally pointed at the beef on our table and the waitress said she ll go ask. Also, maybe this is a new rule because when we went just for the pork belly, they always gave us those side dishes.
3) they forgot to give us our cold noodles and so when they came around to do final kitchen call, we asked and they said they will get on that

I think for the price you pay, it might not be worth it to go here...(also because the wait to get a table is too long I feel like)
Between the 4 of us, it came to around $45 each with tips and we didnt even drink!

Okay service, very good appetiser, great dishes, and amazing cold noodle! Their cold noodle is the second best cold noodle I've ever had in GTA! My boyfriend disagree with me, he thinks its the best.... either way, we'll definitely come back many many times for everything on their menu.
(Note: they have a downtown location which isn't nearly as good as this Vaughan location)

Piggy's was All right not as clean as I would have liked it when I ordered food our waiter had a hard time understanding me and we both had some confusion but it's all good we worked it out food over all was pretty good service was ok it's Korean BBQ.so we love the idea of cooking our own food at the table I give it a fair ratting

Great place for Korean table top cooking. They have a large selection and it's all very tasty. The staff also help with the cooking when it's not too busy.

Service was fast and food was good. Little apps were delicious and meats were good cuts. But I would give this a 3.5 star instead of 4 because of the way you had to order. You have to order the same plate 2 times which is a must and u can't mix. Even when we wanted to choose 2 different grade of beef, u have to order 1 two times first, than you can order another beef. Same goes if you want to order pork. I understand it could be for hygiene, but its a grill just like any BBQ grill, temperature is high enough to cook the meats. Other than forcing the order, i still really like the place.

They didn't have Korean BBQ ribs, the prices seemed a bit a lot high for the amount/quality of food. Was interesting to try, but probably won't go again.

I liked that they moved the bbq pits outdoors so you and friends can enjoy delicious food in a safe environment. I will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Haven't been back since they renovated and it still provides the same good quality of meat with an somewhat affordable price.. will definitely go back for a Korean BBQ craving fix...

Just excellent... all you can eat for 33$ for limited time. Was totally worth it.

We've came twice now both with fairly large groups. And after both times, I have to say their serving sizes are very small.

One of the girls got the standard Pork Bone Soup and literally got 3 pieces of bones if you could believe it. We had to ask if they made a mistake and they said this is their normal serving portions. I don't know what else to say because their flavours are good. Our group also got Bimbimbap, the beef hot plate and a few other dishes. Most were much smaller portions than the normal korean place.

Overall I feel like this place is gives 30% smaller portions. If you want a fulfilling meal, look elsewhere.

Service attitude is super poor! The Korean guests next to me were all cheerful and impatient. We were totally impatient with us. I put the wrong dish and I fell over to the table next to it. I was speechless! The taste is very average, not as delicious as I said, I will never go again, and will not recommend friends to go! !! !

A bit pricy for the quantity. But overall quality is good and refill of side dish isn't much an issue. Nengmyun is more on the hmmm side.

Pretty good. Nice selection of side dishes and fast service. However, signature pork belly wasn't seasoned enough. Garlic pork was good though.

Food was delicious and great service too! Love the ambience of the place. We went for a Sunday lunch and it wasnt too busy. I loved they cabbage wrap and the steamed egg fried rice! So good! They ran out of pork bone soup that day which we wanted to order but overall it was really good!

Visited at least 6-7 times in the past year or so. Everytime the food (both main and side dishes) was delicious and great quality. The portions were always very generous too. The staffs were all very friendly and attentive , no matter if its during super busy peak dinner hours. Definitely deserve 5 stars.

Went there for a family celebration and overall it was great! Two of us got a table early and the rest of the guests were late almost 45min and the servers didn't kick us out which we we're greatful for. We got pork belly, pork neck, the marinated pork and an order of steak and it was all extremely fresh and tasted great. Servers were attentive making sure to always cook and cut our meat for us as well as changing the hot plates so we weren't cooking our meat on dirty ones. Overall really delicious and can't wait to be back!
