Pieology Reviews

This place specializes in pizza and they do it really well. So don't go here thinking that their dessert menu is where their strength is at.
Their business model is outstanding and they have very reasonable prices.
I could write a full fledged review on it but won't waste your time. So far at the date of my post this establishment is rated at 4 1/2 stars. Whoever brought it down by that 1/2 point must not 'get it'.
If you're a true foodie... Go here. It's WELL worth the commute and experience.

Word of advice: It's busy here. Very busy. So if you want to have fun while waiting in the long line, look across at KFC which is visible from the left-side window. You can have a good laugh trying to figure out why nobody's in that restaurant.

Think Subway but with pizza. Size is just right. All the toppings you can handle for just one price. Gets crowded so come early.

Really good value.
7 dollars for a thin crust personal pizza with all the toppings you want. They have the standard selection of pizza toppings, with ranging from chicken to pineapple. with a choice of tomato sauce to pesto sauce, this place is really good value. Oh by the way did i mention that the size of the personal pizza can feed 2 people. Or 1 really really hungry person.

These people can serve gluten free crust with tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings... all disguised cleverly as pizza!

Pizza was pretty good. Service was helpful and friendly. The wings where kind of small for the price but they were good and I liked the fact you could get your own sauce and try all of them if you haven't already.

Family friendly. Crispy thin crust that stays firm with your unlimited fresh toppings. Fast service & mostly with a smile. Mostly clean ample tables/seating. Mostly accurate with whose pizza belongs to who. Good place!

Good variety and options. Food is tasty and very customizable.

i'm giving it 4 stars because although the ingredients are fresh and tasty, the crust seemed a little chewy and flimsy. Not crunchy at all, and that was a little disappointing. In fact, I'd give it 3-1/2 stars, leaning more toward 4. But, all in all, it was good.

Ate here for the first time! They are very reasonably priced, and you get to pick all of the components of your pizza, from the crust to sauce to the toppings. The staff was efficient and friendly. You could get a pizza and drink for less than $12! Recommend you go if you can! Good pizza, made to order. You can get lots of toppings and pay same price. I ordered for take out, it was enjoyed by my guests

Just good pizza, you get whatever you want. I prefer the double thick crust. But if you like think crust that is great too. We are also fans of the cinnamon dessert pizza you can get.

I really enjoy the pizza here. Gets pretty hectic and crazy with the line, but it goes pretty fast. Filling and delicious and oh so fresh

Good pizza, several doughs including wheat and gluten free, fresh toppings, cooked to order, decent price, senior discount, and very friendly staff. They asked a couple of times to make certain I was happy with it

Unique place to have pizza. You get to build your own pizza the way you like it. Many toppings are available from meats to vegetables and different crust types. A little pricey but if you don't eat it all there are boxes you may put your leftovers in and take with you. Also an interesting selection of beverages are available. The facility was clean and tidy. The available parking is shared with a Starbucks and other food establishments, but is generally available even at meal times.

Kids love this place. Pizza and topping choices make us come here!

We came to this spot for a meeting. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. Warmly recommended.

Miso ramen decently good. Best takoyaki i ever tasted. Services were nice and quick.

I got to make my own pizza and that was super cool! They now have cauliflower crust and some other choices like gluten free crust. They did ran out of the deep dish crust when I ordered that was a bummer.

Ingredients are fresh, service was fast and efficient. Self serve sauce bar really liked that! The garlic Parmesan is the best! Mango habanero is very tasty too. Self serve fountain drinks guava lemonade is a must try! Overall great experience!

The OG location. Pieology is always fast and friendly and I love how they run things. The veggies make me feel healthy

Manager by the name of Kayleen is a super star, we had a small mix up. She handled the situation in a very professional manner, she and her staff are excellent.

I honestly don't know why this place is so popular. Pizza is missing basil, has globs of garlic not remotely evenly distributed on the pizza, and burnt on one side. There was also a strong garlic taste on the dessert pizza.

Pizza was delicious, the place is packed on weekends.

Food was pretty good, but the atmosphere and decor inside felt barren and depressing.

They have lots of options and variety for you to customize your pizza the way you like it.

I'd recommend ordering their food and going somewhere else to enjoy it rather than sitting at their tables.

The food was great! It would be much better if the staff was a little friendly and curteous.

I tend to rate Pieologies by how generous they are with their cheese. When I say I want extra, extra, extra, when you think its too much, add more cheese, I expect it to be basically overflowing with cheese. Not a problem with this place. They will pile on as much cheese and toppings as your heart desires at no extra charge, that is the magic of Pieology. My wallet thanks you but the 25,000 calories now in my stomach doesnt. I forgot to mention, im slightly lactose intolerant. It is absolutely worth it though!

The employees are always really kind there, and the pizza is to die for.

Be prepared to wipe your own table and seats because the tables , busy or not, or always dirty! The line moves really slow and orders to go take longer than they should. It's just this location!

You can't really go wrong with Pieology. The pricing is great, especially if you share it! If you are going to share, you can split the pizza and customize half the pizza with your preferences. Of course, don't go into Pieology expecting a thick or stuffed pizza crust. Their "pie" crust is on the thinner style, very similar to a flat bread. The fact that you can fully customize your pizza with your choice of sauce, cheese, and toppings makes this location a great option for lunch or dinner. Service is always quick, so definitely be prepared to order. Don't be the one person that stalls the line with all sorts of questions, they have menus towards the start of the line.

workers are nice and friendly and food is very tasty

It is good, but not anything great. You can usually expect a long wait and personally I do not think it is worth the wait. Topping in Long Beach at the traffic circle is much better.

This place is seriously amazing, they serve some of the best pizza I have ever had. For something like $7.50 you get to order your pizza and put on whatever toppings you like. My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken. My first time there I ate the whole thing, which was definitely a mistake. I thought I would explode afterward. Now my wife and I split one and it is plenty. We sometimes get the desert pizza (cinnamon sugar with some sort of cinnamon roll frosting drizzled over it). It is sooo good and only $2.50. I would go there just for that if it was a little closer to my house.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pieology if you are looking for good and affordable pizza. The staff there is also really friendly.

I love pieology but this place is just so packed all of the time...

Vegan. Deep. Dish. my dreams came true! It was my first time here and it was delicious!

Thinking of having a nice, crispy, juicy, healthy, good for your wallet kind of meal? Well, Pieology meets all these requirements. It's like Chipotle for pizza. First, you get in line(which can be really long), and decide how many types of meats or vegetables you want on your pizza, then you can add 1 or 2, heck you can add all the meats and vegetables for the same low price of $7.50. The long wait can be daunting, but the speed at which you wait for your food is SERIOUSLY LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! I timed them, seriously less than 5. The food is ridiculously good, and the service is awesome too.

FYI
1. While waiting in line send someone to get a table because space is rather limited.
2. No tomato unless you want your pizza a little wet.

great thin crust pizza, fresh ingredients. this place works like a subway or chipotle in that you choose your toppings as you walk down a line. good customer service, but there is a rush around dinner time so if youre planning on going during that time, it's smart to order online and pick up your pizza

Out of all the make your own pizza place restaurants that have spring up over the last few years, pieology is still my favorite. It doesn't have the most topping options, but the selection is still solid and the pizzas are consistently good. The crust here is also my favorite. My only complaint about this location is that it can sometimes get very loud inside. It makes it hard to hold a conversation.

So Pieology is always great but today I am going to talk about the two girls in this location. Stephanie greeted us then we entered I had a couple of questions she answered every single question with a smile on her face. She was very humble and made this visit pleasant. She paid extra attention to what me and my wife ordered. I wanted extra crust she took care of it. My wife wanted her Pizza with special ingredients as she is allergic to a couple of things she was also taken care of very nicely. So we took a seat and we're waiting for the pizza but I noticed the table was little sticky because of some dropped sauces. I was about to got some paper towels and asked one of the employees to find some kind of a spray bottle. This girl Roan not only Got a spray bottle and cleaned the table for us but also ask us if she can help with anything else. We visited more than 10 pieology locations but this one is the best. I saw these two employees helping other customers the same way. I want to call mutilate the manager for choosing such a wonderful team. Five stars for pieology five stars for Stephanie five stars Roan. So in total 15 Stars today. Good job guys keep it up. God bless you.

A few of my clients came in wanting to go out for some lunch after our meeting. The three of us were all up to out go for pizza, but over speaking we all had different tastes in toppings. Had heard from one of our employees that Pieology had not only great food, but they custom prepared the meals in front of you.
After deciding on taking the trip out, I can honestly say, that was some of the best pizza ever along with excellent service!! If you re looking for great pizza and a good environment, Pieology serves great pizza! Try it...

Fresh, made well, enough food, cheaper, varied drinks. Nice place ever.

I really like this place. Very good selection of crusts and toppings. The people are friendly and the place is clean. Some Tv's but not so many that you can't ignore them and focus on the company. Priced right for the quality you get. My only complaint is the same with all these build your own pizza places - sometimes you need to ask 2 or 3 times to put more of a topping on - if I have to ask twice, you might as well load up on the item - other than that - great place!

The managers at this establishment are absolutely wonderful along with their crew. If you have a problem they are quick to fix it and are so sweet and kind. They lost my order and within 10 minutes the pizza was out and ready to go!

I call it the Chipotle of pizza. Fresh ingredients, delicious taste, great price. Avoid the Friday, Saturday night crowds and come during the week. Flat bread here, no big puffy dough if you wanted to know.
