Always a good meal & great service. Their beet & orange salad is my favorite for lunch .
First time. Great food, great service, great live music.
Bomb pizza and huge! Really cool place with different types of pizza. And you can buy a 6pack and drink while you chow down on some pizza! Cool place
Awsome rest, beautiful bar and fabulous food and staff
Had brunch today. The grilled veggies were superb. More of a Mediterranean menu plus traditional and everything was excellent! We eat here during the week often but this is a new Sunday favorite!
We've only done Sunday brunch here, but they've got a great buffet with something to please everyone. The atmosphere is a step above what you'd expect from a site in a retail center like this.
My family and I have had many meals at Piccolo Trattoria. Service, ambiance and of course the food is always 5 star. Thank to the staff and chef.
Ordered through door dash. They messed up our order in multiple ways and left off an entree completely. Food was fine but not worth the price.
The food was expensive and OK. I ordered takeout. I didn't think the staff were very friendly while I picked up my order. I wouldn't think to go there again, but I wouldn't refuse to go either.
I've dined at the Newtown and the Doylestown restaurants, each being equally good atmosphere, service and food. Great place for gluten free pasta and pizza (my wife is an expert in gluten-free taste opinions). I love pasta with meat sauce and pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms - I can get both here in great portions, great taste, and reasonable price.
Met friends here for dinner.
My wife and I were never here before but we will be back.
Great Chicken Marsala, nice wine list.
Service, Food, and atmosphere very nice.
Highly recommended!
Looks like a typical pizzeria in a strip mall, but it is anything but that. You can get a pizza and a beer or wine, but they also have a great menu, attentive staff and General manager. Their lobster mac and cheese is delectable! A little pricey for us to go to often, but for a delicious meal out in a casual unpretentious atmospher, we Wil go back. Sorry I didn't take pictures of our meals.
had granddaughters confirmation on Saturday march 23, 2019 there and everything was PERFECT; the food and service. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant. And the waites were wonderful especially Zac
The food here is excellent! Our waitress, Carly, was extremely friendly and a pleasure speaking with. I highly recommend the gnocchi, it was delicious, and my husband enjoyed the veal parmesan. We will definitely be returning.
I pickup orders here frequently. The staff is always friendly, even when they are busy. They have really stepped up their take out business during COVID! Also, most importantly, the few times we have eaten here, the food was excellent and the staff was great!
Very good food however very pricey$23 for two sandwiches at lunch time is a little steep but well worth it the food was great
My sons special pesto/ pasta & shrimp was cold & lacking shrimp small portion too
We had a great Valentine's Day dinner in February. We have been there many times and the food, waitstaff, music and atmosphere are always great. A special shout out to Addie. Thank you for making our dining experience pleasant.
went to restaurant they told me to wait 45 minutes and i asked him when will be the food ready he said get out from my store . stupid store
Piccolo may look deceiving on the outside....pizza place in a strip mall. It is anything but! There are two entrances...one for take out and the other dine in. Take out is situated separately from dine in with the option to grab cold soda and beer. DO use Open Table for a reservation. We were greeted and seated in one of the dining rooms. Bathrooms are on the left before entering the dining area. Great idea for a quick fresh up. On the bar is a beautiful square bar for those who prefer a cozy high top dinner. Foccocia bread with marinara sauce brought to the table as we looked at the menu...which was laminated and quite awkward/bulky to flip back and forth. The wine menu was a bound book. Very incongruent ways of presenting menus. We chose a bottle of Reisling and it was chiiled in a bucket at the table. The dining area has fantastic lightning, beautiful seasonal decorations with booths and tables, spacious dining and thoughtful sound proofing. The kitchen is open to the right of the room and it was lovely to see food prepared. The menu is has something for everyone..apps, salad, soup, pasta, fish, chicken and veal, kids menu and pizza fare. Gluten free options is offered along with veg. Appetizer was grilled calamari in lemon olive oil sauce with capers and lemon in a mesh bag...no seeds! It was tender but I felt a tad under done. I am not a fan of capers but this paired well in the dish. Pasta E Fagioli served in a beautiful cruet was not particularly flavorful and the beans were hard. My husband had the chicken and shrimp gumbo. It was like thick chicken soup no wow and no definitive flavor. I was immediately drawn to Fico for my entree and opted to try it with veal...sauteed with figs and porcini mushrooms in a Cognac cream sauce with angel hair pasta. My dish was one note and served with 3 small very tough pieces of veal. I had hoped for tender veal, earthy mushrooms in a cream sauce with a hint of cognac. My husband choose Pappardelle Vienna...with chicken and sun dried tomatoes in an Aurira sauce. He enjoyed it and the pasta was cooked to perfection. It also lacked a wow factor. We ended dinner with an apple crumble with ice cream on the side. It was hot and the apples were tender...but I wished there was more hints of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg and the crumble with more oatmeal, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. The bus boys service was tight...no water glass was left unfilled, dishes were whisked away and remains promptly boxed. Our server was attentive at the beginning but faded away at the end. The price point is high.
Piccola Trattoria is one of the few "traditional" Italian restaurants around. Everything is always fresh and we are rarely disappointed with our food or service.
Food gets 5-stars. Always tastes good, portions are large and everything is freshly made. Wine list is pretty good, with lots of selection.
Service is either 3 or 5 starts. It just depends who you get. We've had everything from top service to "where is everyone?". NORMALLY, it's very good. We were there last night and felt rushed through the meal by the same waiter who has given top service before.
Ambiance...well, it's VERY crowded inside, with tables and chairs stuffed everywhere. It can be loud inside, and we often prefer to sit outside in their covered and enclosed patio.
Should you go there? Absolutely, and you will return for authentic Italian cuisine, freshly prepared and presented with normally very good service.
They are very unorganized and slow and their attitude is pretty rude.
Food was delicious. Service was phenomenal. Will definitely go back.
We ordered dinner from here for the first time!!
Oh my... my pear salad was so yummy and the whole wheat pizza was the best ever!
This will be our new favorite place!!
The pizza is really extent here. One of my favorite spots since it opened. Friday nights agent very busy and the staff get a little overwhelmed so stay on top of your order. They also have a good selection of beer to go. Prices are comparable to others in Doylestown.
Buffalo wings = A+ I was feeling quite hungry, ordered 3x 10 pcs, I could only finish one 10 pc for lunch. Wings are on the larger side, cooked PERFECTLY, crispy on outside tender inside. Wings were generously sauced. Sauce was good. Celery was fresh. Blue cheese dressing, although not very chunky, had great flavor. Pizza LOOKED very good, didn't get to try it. Will be back to try other items or more wings!
I had my rehearsal dinner at Piccolo Trattoria and it was just amazing! I chose the silver menu and the portions of all of the courses were extremely generous! People were stuffed and very satisfied. I received a ton of compliments on the food and environment for weeks after the fact!! The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. I did not have to make a ton of decisions because they let you decide an outline and then your guests order when they arrive, so there was no need to figure out a complete head and meal count before which was super convenient for me. David and Fami were so kind, professional, and easy going in their interactions with me!! The experience was great and I would definitely do another event there!!
Only gotten take out from here so I can't speak to the service. That being said, the interior of the restaurant is very nice. Good looking bar, nice countertops. The sandwiches are really good, we like the paninis. They also have solid pizza, definitely above average. Will be back to try more.
It s been almost 3 hours now...waiting for an order placed 3 hours ago for Mother s Day Dinner. It s not 7:31 and still nothing. Thank you for being so organized and for ruining our Mother s Day dinner
Nice entertainment and great service with good food.
Fantastic staff and fantastic pizza. I always get the Brooklyn pie and a blue moon I would suggest you do the same.
The Best Italian Food Restaurant in Bucks County . Enjoy
A lot larger from the outside. Excellent food!! Would visit again if in the neighborhood
Ordered an italian wrap. 15 minutes later they tell the manager they have no wraps. She sends someone to the grocery store to purchase wraps but neglects to tell us the situation. We ask the cashier and she says they're working on it. But not really, that person is still not back from the store. Long story short we waited for almost an hour and received our money back but no compensation. The guest service recovery was not existent. I would never go there again.
The owner made sure our table shouted our needs. Great service
Went to this restaurant for my mother in laws birthday. Checked menu night before and was pleased with selection and prices. Between wife and i two meals one with appetizer, two ice teas and 2 deserts and coffee came to 50.00. Great restaurant definitely a return.
This was a very nice place. Clean, nice atmosphere. I gave it only 3 stars because I went there for lunch with a girlfriend. We sat at the bar, and the bar tender gave lousy service. I was surprised as there were only 4 other people at the bar. I also ordered the Gluten Free Alfredo Pasta. it made me sick as a dog, I don't believe the sauce was Gluten Free, I think only the pasta was. I didn't ask, just assumed requesting GF they would know. It was delicious, just made me sick...Ha!
The food and service are both excellent, aside from Tom the server.
We wanted somewhere to go with a couple of friends. We live somewhat close to Piccolo Trattoria and decided to give it a try. At first glance I thought it was just another pizza joint, but boy was I wrong.
I ordered the bacon wrapped steak that was the special. It came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly with the bacon crispy but not burnt. The potatoes were real and mashed but felt homemade and finally the asparagus was cooked to perfection. It was crispy but not raw and seasoned nicely.
The dessert sample platter had a lot of delicious looking choices. We chose the chocolate cake and we're not disappointed.
I would definitely come back here. The only negative was that they didn't turn down the radio when the live musicians we're playing, so the conflicting music was a little distracting.
One of our favorite for pizza and Italian meals. Great for date night or with the family.
A wonderful burger! Just wish the booths had seating every other table, because we were not 6 feet apart. And, the waitress greeted us without a mask, and pulled it off twice when talking. We would have appreciated better common courtesy given the circumstances.
Such a lovely place!!! Great food. Priced well. Great environment
Was not what i expected i dont know if i would eat there again
Waited 6 minutes no one came over. 5 waiters wondering around for lunch. Only had 3 other tables full. Got tired of waiting and left.
Food was excellent. Waiter and waitress were personable but there was some confusion between them.
Food was good. Waited 25 minutes before server showed up at our table to take our order, after our sending out a search party. We were the only table in her section. Very apologetic but service did not improve. Had to search for server to pay check after waiting 20 minutes for her to come back for it. Maybe take out if I go back again .
Absolutely wonderful meal. I have been living in Doylestown my whole life and we decided to try this restaurant for something new. It was a Friday night and absolutely lovely. Bar was full of people and lots of tables full in the dining room--a very good thing because the atmosphere was so lively. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. A very, very fun night. Food was incredible. I ordered the veal francese and it was tender and flavorful and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Bread, sauce, the calamari, just everything seemed that a lot of work was put into it. Severs worked very hard and were friendly. The owner was sitting with his wife and kids by the entrance and they loved to hear about our experience. I cannot wait to come here again next weekend!
Food is good. Restaurant is impeccably clean. Staff super nice and helpful. Highly recommended!
worst restaurant . do not go this branch
1745 S Easton Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901
you can see worst employees there
The food was awesome until a fly landed in our bowl of cheese. We alerted the waitress and she just put it with the bread and plates. I was glad that i put a fork in it to identify it. We were mortified when a different server used that same bowl at a different table
the drinks are awesome. Food servers are very helpful. The food is very good. It was rather chilly with the sir but our server did adjust it for us.
A bit on the pricey side but totally worth it. We will be geting a few pizzas from there for my wifes birthday. Great place.
Great pizza great steak sandwiches dining room ice cold
Amazing. One of the best Italian places you can go to eat
Very good food and pleasant atmosphere. Service very slow. Had 715 reservation and was seated quickly but did not get dinners until 9 pm. Our server was as attentive as he could be but had too many tables. Our water glasses were empty and no one came to refill. Took quite a while to even order a drink and then we sat a long time before they came.
Easter brunch 2018..Very disappointing, would not recommend.
Quoted one price when making reservations, billed $5.00 more per person. (Party of 11)
Waiter non existent.
Egg & bacon trays empty, had to ask and wait for them to be refilled. No fish. Potatoes cold, sausage over cooked. No one at the carving station. Omelette guy awesome.
Spoke with female who was stationed at kitchen doors while trying to locate our waiter regarding our bill. Female claimed to be the manager. Very unsympathetic. She told me I was misinformed on brunch cost.
I told her when compared to 2017 Easter brunch, very disappointing in both service and selection. Based on our experience in 2017 we returned.
Female manager told me they did not have an Easter bunch in 2017. She was working at the restaurant at that time, I was mistaken. She went on to say they change their bunch every week. ???
Didn t know there would be an Easter brunch every week. Maybe I should bring in my receipt for full refund concerning our non existent 2017 Easter brunch.
Poor management, unorganized, would not recommend.
Don t waste your time ordering take out, it was horrible and overpriced....
Caruso's....great atmosphere, great food, terrific prices.
Food is good. Clean resturant. Bar is at the front when you walk in. Take out service is decent. Staff at the register need to be a little more attentive. Had to tell them my order a few times, forgot my soup but brought out bread later to make up for their mistakes.
Yummy. But not great service. They spread their wait staff too thin and she got snappy.
I like this place very much. theres a friendly air. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is efficient and the crew is courteous. The pay is honest. profoundly recommend.
Outstanding Italian Food!!! My wife and I booked Piccolo for our baby shower. Not only was the venue amazing, but also the food was outstanding. In fact, we're likely re-booking their room for our son's baptism. We completely recommend Piccolo Trattoria for events.
I love introducing friends to Piccalos, sharing food and watching them smile tasting the deliciousness.
