We are very pleased with the food and service with Piccolos Doylestown location after they hosted my son s christening luncheon this past weekend. From the planning to the execution, Piccolos was easy to work with, provided a contract, and the day went off without a hitch. Food is delicious and we had the whole back room to ourselves! It was a relief Piccolos was so accommodating in the covid climate.

Were not greeted by a server promptly. Waited a least 10 minutes to order drinks and had to ask for bread. Ordered the grilled Calamari and got fried Calamari. We had someone who was gluten free which is why we ordered the grilled Calamari. The waiter informed us we did order the grilled Calamari and did not offer to replace the order until we asked for it to be replaced. We always had to ask for drinks and water to be refilled. Now this is an Italian restaurant and the waiter did not suggest Romano cheese for our dinners and I had to grab someone to bring it to our table. This was just poor service which really put a damper on what is a place that serves really good food. Did I mention I was taking my family out to celebrate my wife's birthday.

This is one of the best Italian places I have ever had and I got it thru Door dash for my fist time using the app super easy. Unbelievable food honestly that was crazy good.

Personally haven't had the seafood, but watched a shrimp scampi disappear like lightning. Interior looks nice and staff follows mask guidelines.

From the outside this place is not much to look at, but inside is very nice. The menu is extensive and the quality and service are both great. I would have given it 5 stars but it was very loud and we couldn't hear the classical guitarist even though we were only two tables away.

I recently dined at Piccolo Trattoria for the first time with friends a couple of weeks ago. My lasagna was delicious, a friends gnocchi (?) was superb, two other diners shared a chicken and pasta dish which they deemed so-so. The bread was hard, but when we brought it to our waiters attention he promptly replaced with a fresh basket. Waiter was excellent. I enjoyed it so much I booked a table of 10 for 12/23 for a family holiday dinner. Service was definitely mediocre on this visit (which was at 4:00, so it was NOT crowded). The waitress was going to check on a requested change for one of the dishes (just substituting a sauce) and never got back to us on whether it was possible. We had to chase down the bus boy several times to refill water glasses. Requested more bread from our server which she never brought. The young man who was the host was very good, we asked him for the bread and he promptly brought two more baskets. Everyone enjoyed their dinners (veal parm, baked rigatoni, tomato pie, pasta arrabbiata, except the two who had requested a change to their pasta primavera that was never addressed). Service was a 3, and the food a 4.
We did like it enough that we are going to try it again tonight, hoping for improved service and more accommodating responses about special requests.

I've been a fan of piccolo trattoria ever since they opened their first restaurant in Newtown Pennsylvania. I love the restaurant in Pennington and this was my first visit to the restaurant in Doylestown. It was absolutely top quality with great service and a really warm friendly feeling. the building itself is actually nicer than the other two with all kinds of upgrades. I just can't say enough good things about piccolo.
Since Piccolo's is one of our favorite restaurants, we thought it would be the perfect choice for our wedding food. The goal was to offer our guests a wonderful evening of fabulous food that was more like restaurant dining than the usual wedding fare. Everyone absolutely loved the food----the fantastic variety, the amazing taste, and the chic and rustic presentation. Piccolo's offered us a turn-key catering package with linens, tableware, bartenders, and servers. For our off-site wedding, we simply made our selections and on the day of when we walked in, our venue was perfectly staged. The vendors Piccolo's contracted to help with the staging were absolutely top-shelf. Our wedding was wonderfully unique and beautiful, and we have the Piccolo team to thank for that. A five-star company that we highly, highly recommend!
If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Complete and utter disappointment, especially since I used to go to the location in Newtown for lunch frequently in college and LOVED it. Anything that could've been wrong, was wrong. All of the utensils, plates, cups... dirty. Food was cold. Service was slow and wait staff seemed lost. The poor hostess seemed like the only
one who knew what she was doing; older staff there meant to help her did nothing but stand around and yell at her, when she was doing all the work. We had a table of 14 and over a $400 bill. We waited over half an hour for our RESERVED table, because we were told the owner's friends were seated at ours, regardless of our reservation. Amidst the absolute chaos the wait staff and hostess were struggling to manage, the owner sat at his table of friends almost our entire stay. He then eventually walked around and said hello only to tables of people he knew, and paid no attention to our large table giving him quite a chunk of change. While it was Mother's Day, and with it being a newly opened establishment, I would normally be more forgiving of the situation. However, a bartender informed us that they hold these brunches every Sunday... you think they'd have their stuff together a bit better, not to mention the ownership show more care, especially to a table
giving them hundreds of dollars in one sitting. To top it off, in the buffet line a customer asked what was in the deviled eggs, and the chef replied "just eggs." Anyone who has made deviled eggs knows that they are NOT just eggs-- I hope that customer did not have any allergies.
Overall, extremely unprofessional, unsanitary, and overpriced. Being in the restaurant industry myself, the way this one is run is inexcusable.

Good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Not happy about extra service fees on top of higher than average prices. I understand that it's a challenging time, but as a customer this doesn't sit well. Staff however are amazing.

So disappointing!! Hostess changed my seat 3 times. After 8 min got water and stale bread. No waitress, NOTHING for another 15 min. Oh and did I mention there where only two other tables with people? Of course I left that place. Over at KC PRIME getting great service and delicious food. Guess u get what u pay for!
We went to order takeout. 2 Impossible Burgers . After we ordered we went shopping for 15 minutes while they were making our order. When we got back we were told the order would be up in a couple minutes but after another 15 minutes I started asking questions and first they blamed the cook then they blamed the fact that vegan food takes too long to cook. They were very rude and didn t want to refund my money

They have good pizza and wings. Their caprese salad is also quite good. The sitting area is nice and clean. They seemed a little disorganized during my visit but they have never had any problems filling my take out orders correctly.

Food was average, help was nice, music a nice plus but the hostess skipped over us several times to seat other parties that were the same size and came in after us first.
Food is great but unfortunately you need to pick up a hobby to occupy yourself for the 2 hours it takes for them to make it. I ve been in there 3 times for pickup in the past month and each time they have either messed someone s order up or haven t even started making it. It seems like someone needs to learn how to run a kitchen.
Terrible pickup process. Don t bother ordering. Waiting outside for 45min and nobody knows what is going on. No system in place. 30+ frustrated people standing outside so it isn t an isolated order.
They have the best Pizza. The pasta is very good and they will add or extract items to your liking. Perfect for groups or intimate occasions.
The waitress was awesome but it stopped there. Was not impressed with the food or the drinks. The food lacked flavor, very bland and the drinks were expensive and not worth the price.

1st time at Piccolo Trattoria. Food was very good, service was very good for a baby shower I attended.
The food and service here are second to none. We have had dinner here and everything was top notch. I have been here twice in the last week for take out , had a glass of wine at the bar and ordered dinner to go. The only drawback is no both times they messed up my order. The first time I ordered broccoli rabe as a side and they gave me spinach which I overlooked cause of course it was very good. Tonight we ordered two dinners again with a side of broccoli rabe and they forgot it completely. I called the them to complain and was told I I had forgotten it , I reminded the lady that she forgot to put it in the bag. They said I could return to pick it up, of course I said we were already having dinner please just refund the cost. She said she would have the manager do it. I expected a call and apology from the manager especially since this was twice this week. There was no call and no refund. We are very disappointed because the food is awesome, bar staff great, dining room very nice, but we feel slighted by having two orders messed up and no call from a manager to make up for it.

Went there for lunch. Greeted right away..Sat right away...order taken right away. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was very nice..not too upscale but not local mom and pop style. I would recommend.
Decent food and pretty good pizza. I like the pesto chicken myself. The only reason this place isn't rated at least a full star higher are the quirky rules. You can order pizza and sandwiches in the front, but you have to place your order at the counter. You can order off the menu in the back, but you can't order pizza. So even if you are dining with kids, they won't serve you the pizza they make in the same kitchen as your meal. Go figure.
Took some out of town guests there last Saturday and everyone really enjoyed the decor, the very good service and the delicious food. Just made a reservation for 12 for next Saturday.
Piccolo Trattoria hosted the wedding rehearsal dinner for our son and soon to be daughter in law. The entire event was so simple and stress free!
They were set and ready for our party when we arrived, the food was served on time and it was delicious. The service was efficient and quick to respond to any requests. We received many compliments from the guests on what a wonderful dinner it was !
Annette was the planner for the event and had everything organized and in perfect order!!
We would highly recommend Piccolo Trattoria for any event or just simply dropping in for a good Italian dinner!!

My wife and I order from here at least once a month. Every time we order, we try something new. We've made it through a good portion of the menu and everything is INCREDIBLE! The pizza is hands down the best in the area. Scallops are to die for. Even the bread the give you is to die for. Definitely give piccolo trattoria a try if you're in the area. The staff is always friendly. They are masters at what they do!

The table was really small, the bread was a little stale. The staff was really helpful, and it was not very crowded. The staff memorized our order. The food was overall amazing even though the utensils were a little dirty
It took 10 minutes for a server to greet us. It didn't get any better with service after that, our server dropped the pasta course asked if we wanted cheese then went over to another table and started talking to them came back with cheese after about ten minutes of wandering around the dinning room doing other random things. All the food was served in cold dishes so the soup was tepid at best, pasta in the pasta ravioli soup was overcooked and the beans were undercooked. The pasta course said it was one pasta but was actually a different one not really a big deal except it was undercooked, not al dente seriously undercooked and served in a ridiculously small bowl so the pasta sat on the rim. The only thing that was on point was the music they were perfect for such a small place. This not being our first time there as I always give places three shots I would not recommend going here as there are many other Italian style places I think do a much better jub.
