Amazing amazing amazing I did not have to wait long maybe 10 minutes tops. The buffet was on point everything was delicious I did not have to wait in a long line for crabs they were hot they were well-seasoned and I traveled all the way from Philadelphia I drove a three-hour Drive and it was well worth the drive
This place was absolutely amazing!!! Clean, great service, magnificent selection of food for their enormous seafood buffet and even a decent selection for non seafood lovers!!! They even had a kid's buffet! Phillips opened up at 3pm sharp with a 75 foot line around the side of the building. It looked like it would take an hour to just get in the door but it only took a hair over 10 minutes!!! We were promptly seated, drink orders taken and we were off to the buffet. They had all of the seafood faves you would expect. Crab legs, shrimp, oysters and even crab imperial. All I can say is...wow! Everything I ate was delicious! This place is top notch in my book and I will definitely be visiting again, every time I vacation in Ocean City, Maryland and maybe if I'm just passing through!!!

Stay away from this restaurant! Constitutional rights were violated! Maryland face mask policies states if you have a health conditions you can be exempt from the Maryland face mask policies. Me and my mom both have medical condition and we can't wear a face mask for this reason! I will be looking into filing discrimination charges against this business and a couple other in Ocean city, Maryland!

40 dollars a person for the buffet. Crab legs were overcooked. Shrimp was also overcooked. Food overall was ao...so. wouldn't have minded cost if good quality was better.
Not the place of my youth. Prices seem to be very high for the casual dining. Use the take out mostly.
The restaurant is divided in two, buffet upstairs and rest of menu downstairs. So good luck eating together with non seafood eating family members!!!!
Very good! I heard about Phillips for a long time & always wanted to go here. We had excellent fish dinners. I had crab cakes & my husband had fried combo platter. Both were so delicious & reasonably priced. We also had crab soup & salad so we didn't have room for dessert. Our waitress was so pleasant & attentive. We really enjoyed our meals & will be back !
The food was good, but the service could've been better!
The mussels were bland. The fried shrimp were not deveined. The kids crab cake slider was a crab cake on a dry roll that the waitress offers my kid ketchup as a condiment. Not to mention the supermarket dinner rolls they serve while waiting for your meal. Not worth the wait!!

We go here every time we visit OC. All you can eat seafood, including crab legs. Don't skip their build your own pasta.
All you can eat buffet is amazingggggg and the service is good. From crab legs, muscles, oysters to BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. That's good eats! Oh, and the ice in the drinks are slushy so it's perfect! Give them your name, number, then wait in the line, not many knew to give their info first but they will text you when your table is ready so the wait isn't unbearable, you can go to the bar or shops across the street while you wait.

we sat down for menu dinning, the crab cakes are great. the peel & eat shrimp were big and tasty. we also has fish and chips that was good. i wasn't impressed with the fried shrimp. reminded me of frozen butterfly shrimp. the place still looks original from the 50's.

Give false information bout getting a free cup with an alcoholic drink, but the food was overall okay. They could of added old bay to the crab dip and crabs but the steak.was good and asparagus
Food was ok. Service was very slow. The atmosphere was kinda dark and dungy like. Probably wouldn't go back just because there is so many better options in the area.
Their food is to die for and prices aren't bad for what they have which is buffet style and everything you can imagine.
Bariatric friendly, I was leery to come because of the price since I am limited to the amount that I can eat. They told me to tell my waitress that I had bariatric surgery and they would reduce the cost. Instead of the $39.99 for the regular cost, it was $19. Good food, great atmosphere!

Wasn't too impressed for the price. It might be that I am from New England, maybe it is better for crab lovers, which I am not, but the food that you got for the price was not great. I think they could either offer a little more or lower the price. Otherwise a nice staple of the OC strip
There is a lot of work and coordination to be done to keep the customer happy and the staff does great. The food was delicious and the family enjoyed the overall experience!
Not the Phillips I remember visiting years ago. Grilled Swordfish was excellent, however literally five accommodating pieces of asparagus was disappointing.
Best seafood buffet in ocean city. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to location and accessibility. The one that used to be up near Fenwick island was on ground level. Where it is now you have have to climb a bunch of steps. But the food is very good.
Came for the crab legs, they were overcooked and stuck inside the shell. Fried shrimp and crab imperial were pretty good. Jay was our server and she was pretty good.
Food was good, only problem was its upstairs and google said open at 3pm did not open until 3:30, which is the correct time of opening.

I've been going to Phillips ever since I was a kid. It used to be one of the highlights of our trips to Ocean City. Over the years their service and quality has dwindled to a mere shadow of what they once were. It's sad when the crab legs at a cheap Chinese buffet in the Midwest are cooked better than a historic seafood restaurant on the coast.

All the seafood and steak you could possibly eat at the buffet for $38.99 per person and they made a hell of an orange crush for an extra charge , so many delicious menu items to choose from my belly left extra pleased.

It was terrible from tje beginning. We enter the restaurant through a door that shouldn't be open because once you enter through that door you have to find your way to find someone that can assist you. Second it was the first time and we ask for suggestions, the server (she was the only thing nice in the place, she was so good with clients and babies, that's very important to me because I brought my baby there) so, she told us to try the catch of the day, the plate sounded wonderful once we all ordered 5 min later she says "we're out of fish for today" it was like 1 pm. Everyone was ready to have lunch. Anyway we ordered something else that she recommended but the portions were so small and the prices does that portion was so big. It wasn't even gourmet. I ordered avocados for my Baby and they tasted funny, like it was around shellfish and of course I couldn't feed that to my baby [I'm allergic and I don't know if she is too, and I don't want to find out because some avocados in a restaurant]

Service was medicore, seafood was bland, and drinks were weak. For $130 bill the food should taste better, seems like it was only streamed in water, no salt.

It's pretty good. I expected to be absolutely blown away based on the cost. It's definitely a touristy place to eat.
I've been coming here since I was a little girl..however this last year and this year I was not impressed. I thought maybe last year it was just me thinking the food tasted differently,but I was like I'll try it again and see...NOPE. The food being served was not good..especially for the price. The crab imperial which was my fav..was gross, not sure what they changed! The fried shrimp was SOAKED in grease..and to top it off the service was bad. My daughter wanted the pasta bar, so we waited in line for 15 mins.. finally getting to the front of the line, to see the cook only has 2 of the 6 burners turned on and being used. Then we stood there for another 10 mins waiting for him to acknowledge her and ask her what she wanted!! Also.. there was no toilet paper in the woman's restroom..unacceptable!! NEEDLESS to say..so long Phillips..
Very high priced buffet, the $200 check for 3 adults and 2 children caught us off guard. Food is mediocre to say the least. Atmosphere is dry and boring. Save your cash and go elsewhere. Server was excellent and very polite.
Again for our weekend, the crab cakes are NOT what they used to be. We need to find another favorite in OC.
First batch of crab legs were not fresh but second batch was excellent, great food.
A bit disappointed in the food. A lot of breaded, greasy food. The chicken cutlet was thick and tough and a little dry. The waitstaff was super! The decor needs Restaurant Makeover there.

Amy, posting under bf's account. Was told on the phone 5 minutes before arriving that there was no wait time. When we arrived, we were told there was a wait but not given a time. Later I asked, they gave me a 30 minute approximation, then another 30 minute approximation, then told there were still 16 people ahead, by the time it was a full hour of waiting. They did not properly inform us how long the wait would be, and we wasted our night.
Fantastic buffet. Crab legs galore. Many options for seafood lovers as well as meat lovers. They do not rush you out.
Went to the breakfast buffet on vacation... perfect! It's a must, they even had a discount price for us early birds!
