First time at restaurant, came on reccomendation of family member. Not disappointed. Wife was there for crab cakes. She has had them at several seafood stops in NJ, some good some great.
She ranked these from Phillips right up in the GREAT category. Great waitress, do not recall her name. She was sporting a breast cancer awareness tattoo. Very friendly, made the visit really enjoyable. Note to owners, she is a "keeper". Keep up good food/service, a must stop when in OC.

First off the wait was ridiculous. Secondly the server was terrible!

What impressed us the most was the dedicated kids buffet.

Food and service were top notch. This buffet has a lot of staff and they need it. They have dedicated staff for the normal things (carving station) but also for the Alaskan King Crab legs, which may be off-putting at first, but it makes them available to everyone versus the first-come-first-serve mentality of other restaurants.

The menu is quite robust from cooked or raw clams/oysters/muscles to several types of fish. There's all you can eat crab, crab cakes and a god selection of carving meats.

Overall positive experience. The crab options were good. The fish and ribs were overcooked and dry. If you get there right when it opens, the buffet has a long line, but when you come back for seconds the line will have dissipated. Service was great.

My first time there and thought the food was going to be good. NO, NO, NO! For the price, which is expensive it's not worth it at all. I will not be going back and its not a place I would recommend at all!!!

It's Phillip's, don't need to say anymore. An Ocean City legend when it comes to seafood.

Food was good and hot. It was my daughters birthday dinner and the waitress was more than happy to sing and make a deal.

It's really not worth the price, go to the bonfire.

Now for my review on July 4th, 2019 was our first time in Ocean City and Phillips Crab House the host, the guy at the bar in the waiting area with the long hair(did not get his name) was so kind. We had to wait less than 30 minutes to be seated definitely worth the wait food is fresh and excellent in taste. Crabs and salmon had no fishy taste at all. Shout out to our waitress "Paige" excellent customer service, great listening and most importantly smiling. Thanks Paige for our wonderful experience we will being the family back from Virginia Beach, Va. See ya next time.

My wife and I came here while on our honeymoon. The service was amazing. Our waitress Nico was great. The crab legs were really delicious. Can't wait to come back. The chef came out and asked how did we like our meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant when you come to ocean city Maryland. The food is pricey but worth it. Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself!

Shrimp and crab had no flavor was kind of pricey. Expected a little more for the money

Had some issues with the crabs we ordered and after notifying the staff of the issue we were able to get the situation fixed. The staff was excellent in the way they helped take care of the situation. The next time we are in Ocean City I would go back. This is the 1st time that I have had an issue with Phillips but it didn't deter me. Thanks !

Love the chandeliers and rustic atmosphere delicious

Drove 500+ miles got in late not only was everything amazing but they stayed open later with ZERO rush to let us finish and enjoy our meal! Must try for sure!

I'm not a seafood person, but the filet mignon was tender and delicious, cooked to perfection. The asparagus was crisp and flavorful. And that bread!! I would go back just for that buttery, beautiful, scrumptious bread!

Great place for a beach seafood buffet. Pricey but for the choices they have a wide variety. Something for everyone. Service was great. Will go back.

Love this place...crab imperial is delicious...along with a lot of other stuff....

We brought a group of 40 high school students plus chaperones. All four chaperones thought the food was awesome. All of the kids thought it was awesome. Service was excellent and friendly. If our school plans an Ocean City trip again for students in the future, I guarantee Phillip's will be one of the stops.

Not fresh at all. No local catch, imitation crab. Just yuck!

Best buffett in Ocean City MD. Went tonight, Sept 24, so it is post season and the other Phillips closed for the season. There was a little wait, but if you are in line within the first hour of service you get $4 of per meal. Something for everyone: kids buffet area, chicken, prime rib, ham etc for land lovers, raw bat, etc. Oysters are great, snow crabs!...You will not leave hungry. Service staff excellent with just the right amount of attention. (They also have an a la carte menu.) There is parking and an elevator.

Food is cold and unappetizing. Children s hamburger sliders were cold with burnt hamburger. Not worth the price by any stretch. Our waitress rarely checked on us. At time to pay bill, all systems were down so had to wait to pay for horrible dinner. Skip this place and find something better.

Not as great as I remember from before moving to SC. Crab cake was good lump meat, but a little on the small side and the meal was a bit pricey.

Best restaurant in OC as far as I'm concerned. Great service, food and atmosphere! Go a little early to get the goods though!!!

What a great selection of food. Especially seafood. Reasonably priced for kids!

My family has been going to Phillip's for years for the AYCE buffet, and we are never disappointed. It's quite packed and busy but you're going to experience that when a place is so good. Crabs are a must to get and if you get there right at 3 pm upon opening you can get the early bird special for $35.99 instead of $39.99.

Other than the wait time without reservations the staff was pleasant the food was great and plentiful I would go back.

Everytime I go there it's the best. I love how nice everyone is and I love the food. The only thing I could wish for is a bigger Phillips just to cut back on the wait time when getting your food. Other than that, I always have the best time.

Phillips buffet price might be a tad bit high at first sight, but the food you get for the price is unmatched. Outstanding selection. We went with a family member who doesn t eat seafood, and even he was satisfied with the amount of non seafood items they had. Their whole crabs and snow crab legs were worth the price for us. Don t forget the dessert bar if you have room!

Miss the restaurant in the 140's on the Delaware border! Seemed like it wasnt the same. Food was great but the other one by far better

Fun place to gather a group for a night out at the beach. The food is good and in plenty of supply, and the service is really strong. We had a big group that included some small children and everyone was happy with the food selection and stuffed by the end.

Food quality has been declining over the years, we still go every year out of tradition, its not bad just not worth the $35 (and rising $) in my opinion.

I visit phillips seafood buffet every time I'm in ocean city because for $40 you get a ton of variety of seafood. I'm partial to the unlimited crab legs and steamed clams but the raw oysters, prime rib, tons of other seafood and other meats add a ton of value for what may seem like an expensive meal. The kids buffett for $10.99 is an exceptional value because kids can get burgers, fries, tots, fried chicken, pizza, Mac and cheese and a nice desert selection with soft serve ice cream. If you are a seafood lover or a kid you will get your money's worth, but people who dislike seafood may not eat $40 worth of meat, pasta, and salad.

Absolutely love the seafood buffet. Unlike any other seafood buffets you get unlimited oysters and steamed crabs. And on top of all Best tasting seafood. Great service and really worth the cost. Value for your buck.

Delicious food, great variety, the servers were very friendly and helpful. I make a point to go here every time we makes a trip to OC.

Go to Embers..... Phillips AUCE buffet is a joke. No room to move around. They had 2 buffets but only one open. Buffet food was empty or dried up. Crab legs overcooked and small. The person serving the crab legs gave you 2 tiny clusters and acted like it was a rule. Come on people it is AUCE and expensive so I don't think they should try to limit you. The bathrooms were so small only 2 people could fit at a time and this restaurant is huge.... With the amount of money they charge each person I think they could afford to do a little remodeling. We left here and ate pizza about an hour later.

Yuck, all 3 of my kids hated it. Stale pastries, and pancakes tasted wierd.

Majority of the food was good. Server wasn't the greatest at keeping our drinks filled or giving us everything we needed.

Don't buy the wedge salad..it just a hunk of head lettuce with a miniscule of bacon bits,
( maybe 1 slice ) 4 sliced in half cherry tomatoes, with a thimble amount of blue cheese.. now this is a better description of a wedge salad ...

Over crowded small crabs, long wait, and taste was worth 3 stars
